Food and drinks were amazing. The manager came by to check on us which was a really nice touch and such a rarity these days. The only disappointment was the people that were hanging out outside the restaurant coming into use the restroom who did not appear to be guests of the restaurant. Most were very distastefully dressed and quite the spectacul for such a nice restaurant. Maybe should post a sign that bathrooms are for restaurant customers only.

Appetizers were good. Volcano shrimp and oysters are tasty. My wife enjoyed her short rib. My onion soup and French dip were one note on flavor and just eh. French fries and drinks were respectable. We go again, but I would try something different.

We reserved a table for 4 to celebrate my birthday. The food was great…everyone enjoyed different dishes and we even ordered appetizers and dessert with The Finch treating me to cheesecake with a sparkler on top. Service was prompt and courteous, the view of the lake was lovely and the location was interesting. Noise level was a bit high for my liking. Overall, though, an excellent experience.

Lunch took almost 3 hours. Service was slow and when we finally got our drinks, my wine (rosé) was room temperature, not chilled. The water tasted funny…kind of dirty. I was excited to try the brunch tacos, which came with brisket, but they were mainly unseasoned scrambled eggs with a little bit of meat on top. No salt and pepper to be seen so I added the salsa to make it not so bland. Food in general was cold. When the waitress came by to ask if we wanted another round of drinks, she took everyone’s order except mine and then bolted off. When she returned 10 minutes later with the other drinks I finally could order another drink. It was a ‘meh’ experience. I don’t think I’d go back.

The server was distracted, because he was also responsible for a birthday party next to our table for two. That party was a dozen at least. They were obnoxiously loud; beyond enjoying themselves and impacting our dinner plans. This was only our second visit to The Finch and the crowd took it down a notch in our opinion. The food was good but not great. It was a disappointing return visit.

Hawaiian Ribeye was delicious medium rare. Wife's filet was perfect as well. Cocktails strong and flavorful. Service would have gotten 5 starts except we were kept waiting to be seated even though we had a reservation which was weird. Mgr Vince came to our table to check on us. It's nice to find a place nowadays that sincerely tries to deliver great service.

Addie our waitress was amazing, we had a large party and she recommended great food. Beautiful patio/ambiance & our waitress helped everyone have a good experience. Definitely will be back!

My reservation was for 5:15p on Friday, 6/13/25. We arrived around 4:57p. There were lots of tables available & we saw lots of wait staff, however the hostess told us we would have to wait closer to our reservation time to be seated. I asked how close to our reservation time. She said “oh around 5:08-5:10p”. She then promptly acted as if her phone rang & answered it. And we were not seated until about 5:08-5:10p. The food was ok & our waiter was ok but because of the hostess & her empowered attitude, I will not return.

Always enjoy The Finch. Good, well prepared food. It's not an overwhelming menu like some places, but rather something for everyone.
