   I’ll keep it short and sweet, we had an incredible time at Fig Tree! Everything from the service, ambiance, wine, and of course the food, was top shelf. The veal chop and filet were cooked to perfection and our waiter made sure we had the perfect wine pairing for the meal! We will definitely be back.

   This was our second time at fig tree, and it's always a special occasion place for us. This time, my wife was pregnant though so it kind of changed the menu that we would order but that's okay. Unfortunately, the waiter did not make mention of changes we could make if someone was pregnant, which would be the only downside from the staff. We started off with the pork belly and fried oysters plus the buratta (my wife shouldn't have been given the procuttio). The fried oysters were pretty weird for me, I don't typically have oysters but didn't mind them. The pork belly was a little crispy but still delicious. The buratta was extremely velvety and just enough blueberry sauce to go with it to make it have a little more flavor than a piece of cheese. The odd choice was that there was only 1 extremely small (relatively) crouton to put it on. This doesn't take away the delicious flavor of the starters. We both got the tomato and corn soup of the day. While we are not usually tomato soup people, this hit different. The corn gave it enough texture with the parmesan cheese freshly grated over the top. It was also extremely creamy. Just enough so to make us finish our soup. For dinner we had the duck breast and the daily special, grouper. This meal had me questioning if I was a good home cook. Everything was on a different level. The duck breast was cooked in bacon fat (or finished) with some maple syrup which gave it this salty sweet finish with a bit of smokey flavor. My wife loves the sweet potato gnocchi with it. The veggies were also with bacon chunks and fantastic. The grouper came with risotto. This just reminded me of a lot of fish we had in Hawaii, but better. A nice golden cook on the outside and smooth soft inside. We finished the meal with the cheesecake souffle and beignet. The coffee ice cream with the beignet was so good that it was finished before everything else with the perfect amount of coffee flavor the souffle was meh. Great wine by the glass selection

   We were early and seated immediately. We chose to sit outside, which was perfect for us. We were celebrating a birthday. Birthday wishes were brought up often and a couple of messages later on dessert plates. The appetizers were delicious; Escargot and Foie Gras with both of us choosing the Sea Bass entree. Brandon, our waiter, was very knowledgable regarding the ingredients of the food. Conversation was pleasurable since my friend takes delight in food preparation. The evening was a success and a memorable evening for both of us. We look forward to returning!

   Spectacular and very well-price wine list. Nice patio dining experience, a bit more street noise than I'dve liked. Not really sure I'd want to sit indoors it was super dark and cold. Had chorizo stuffed squid app that was ugly but yummy. Salmon was absolutely fantastic, Ribeye special was very good but underdone (better than overdone), with a creamy sauce on top I didn't want to send it back for more cook. Carrot cake dessert was average. Service was spot-on and we'd definintely go back for the salmon and wine alone.

    We were visiting from Chapel Hill so this was our first time at the restaurant, but definitely not our last. The waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. Loved the sea bass. Everything about the evening was wonderful

    First time dining here. All staff was friendly, smiling and helpful. Our server checked on us at perfect intervals. The food was outstanding. My husband was thrilled that elk was on the menu and to learn that elk is always on the menu, though prepared various ways depending on the chef. Hubby finished every morsel on the bone! My trigger fish was a first time for me and the combo of flavors with the risotto, mushrooms and asparagus was incredibly pleasing so I cleaned my plate!

    Found this restaurant on trip advisor. Made reservations thru open table and received a verification phone call from the restaurant the day of. The restaurant is a nicely re-done home. Very quaint. We chose to eat outside. Cool, rainy evening but the heaters made it very comfortable. Our waitress was fantastic. Complicated dishes which she knew very well and made very good recommendations. My friend had the Cowgirl steak and I had the sea bass. Both cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Good presentation and prompt preparation. Arrived in a very timely fashion and was very hot. Portions were perfect, not too much or too little. Would highly recommend.

    We had dinner in one of the rooms on the second floor. It is a real charming and relaxing dining experience. Our server Jennifer, was attentive but not smothering. She gave us the history of the restaurant and was just amazing. Coming from New York, our meals were as good as any restaurant I had ever been to in Manhattan or Long Island. I would highly recommend the Fig Tree to friends and family and we will definitely be taking our visitors there as well.

    Fabulous in every way. Excellent service by Suzie. I see why so many were celebrating special occasions the night we went. We were inside but their patio is lovely and on a nice night would not hesitate to be out there. 5 stars.

    Overall, the experience was pleasant. The service was prompt and and attentive. The restaurant was clean and peaceful. The only thing that could have been better were certain parts of the dishes. Some elements were not seasoned enough, specifically, they lacked salt. Also, the asparagus and cauliflower were cooked incorrectly and the mushrooms had a rather bitter taste. But, the cook of the meats was excellent.
