Situated just outside the village of Middleton The Fig and Olive bar and restaurant serves freshly cooked dishes by our talented team of chefs.
Whether you are out for breakfast, lunch or an evening meal its unique industrial interior design and friendly atmosphere welcomes all occasions. By day the casual, bustly atmosphere is comforting as guests enjoy lunch by the fire in winter and out on the sun soaked terrace in summer. By night the restaurant comes alive as diners and locals make full use of the eye catching bar and indulge in our chefs delicious dishes by candlelight. Lovely service and very easy on the eyes. Beautiful place to go eat and the food came out as quick as you'd like. As a vegan there was a lot to choose from and the vegan breakfast was incredible. Couldn't fault it.

Lovely atmosphere but because we had elderly people with hearing problems was too noisy for them. Was hoping we could sit outside but terrible weather when we went so that was unfortunate. Excellent service and lovely waitress. Good food but my salad was drenched in dressing. I know some people like that but I really don’t like dressing so again unfortunate. I’m sure they would have changed it if I had asked but didn’t like to make a fuss. Also we would have preffered more sandwich choice on lunch menu. Jacket potatoes etc. We won’t go again for lunch.

Have been a number times before my expectations were quite high. Boy they didn't disappoint! Enjoy every thing about eating here. Food, location, service. This was a bit of a special occasion and it fulfilled perfectly this is definitely a resounding success improves every time hard pushed to find anything other than praise . Perhaps slightly more comfortable chairs. But everything else top notch. The Lamb was amazing all the courses were. Great selection of Gins and wine!.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Fig & Olive Middleton on 3rd June 2019. The lovely staff and delicious food made the evening so special. We would highly recommend a visit. It will not be long before we return. Thank you Mr & Mrs A, Tamworth.

We had the mezze sharing platter which was tasty and filling,the wine selection was good and service was fine .We did have to grab waiters attention now and then, but it was a full restaurant so very busy.

I am very undecided about this restaurant. The training of the staff needs more attention, very sloppy in meeting and interacting with guest diners. One member of staff was sweeping up around us and left the collection of her sweep up behind my seat, so that when one of the party needed to leave for a toilet break, he had to redirect himself the other way. Not appropriate for a restaurant. Food quite mediocre. Still needs a lot of work.

Attended for my birthday lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. We where Seated at table table on time however it was very sticky. I highlighted this to the staff who promptly cleaned it, unfortunately she sprayed the table not the cloth and 3 of us where sprayed too, which staff seemed completely unaware of. This is a one of as I’m a frequent visitor to the Fig and food made up for minor issue.
