Escape the city and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of The Fetching Fox gastropub in Kirkliston on the outskirts of Edinburgh, only 10 minutes from the picturesque bridges at South Queensferry.

Our Head Chef, Andy Wilson, is proud to champion local produce to give you the best Scotland has to offer in our seasonal menus. From succulent steaks to hand dived Orkney scallops. Perfect with some local beers and spirits and an array of luscious cocktails with our own added foxy twist - our Flavour Blaster is not to be missed!

Warm by our cosy wood-burning fireplaces in the winter or look out for our gourmet bbq open during the summer months and enjoy our beautiful garden area.

Highly recommended and will definitely come again! Food was fantastic, good portion sizes but the only downside was they were too tasty to leave room for a desert.

First time I’ve been to the Fetching Fox. I was very impressed with the service. Best services I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food was the best of the best and I would say definitely value for money. I 100% will be visiting again!

Value for money. Child friendly. Staff very efficient. All in all a good experience considering there was 9 of us dining at one time.

Easter lunch was a real treat. Delicious pea and ham soup and then delicious roast beef. Children’s chicken goujons were high quality breast of chicken. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

Lovely breakfast. Only criticism would be to step it up a notch with the bread/muffins. Perhaps sourdough and artisan muffins rather than standard run of the mill stuff. Would Definately come again.
