Having sampled several places in Broughty Ferry I would say The Selkie ranks very favourably!

The girls serving were an absolute delight, all the food was fresh and amazing, the drink selection was brilliant too. Cant fault it, would eat here every night if I could and will 100% be back

Ordered 4 tapas dishes, each one was delicious. Service was excellent. Served by a lovely young girl who was very attentive, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend The Ferry Selkie.

Overall very good. Food delicious and very efficient in coming from kitchen. Service ok - female front of house was lovely and friendly. Male front of house we found to be a little abrupt and not as friendly.

First time here and it want be the last. Excellent food served by pleasant and attentive staff. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Tapas Tuesday and so brilliant value for money. Lovely waiter serving and only negative is the noise level at times is intrusive. Would not put me off eating there though as it’s so good.

Staff were initially very attentive and helpful but when we tried to get their attention for some water they were too busy chatting to each other to notice us trying to catch their attention. We ordered the mini meze and to be honest the hotness of the hummus spoilt the rest of our meal. I have never tasted hummus so spicy/hot in my life. If I’d wanted hot chilli hummus that is what I’d have ordered but this was just so hot nothing we ate thereafter had any taste whatsoever. It’s a real shame as the chicken and fish that was also ordered looked delicious. Perhaps a lesson to be learnt is to ask if dishes are highly or overly spiced but as you don’t usually experience heat in hummus we weren’t expecting this. It’s a lovely venue, tastefully decorated but we won’t be in a rush to return.
