My favorite place!!

Lovely Lovely place. Attention to detail in everyway...from decor, to service, to food. Exceptional.

Great atmosphere with a unique menu. I will try the outside dining in the summer. Loved it!

The restaurant was full and vibrant. The food was outstanding as usual and so were the drinks .

The food that we ate this time compared to last time we were here was very good. The menu seemed to have more of a variety which made it harder to choose. Only complaint we have is that there aren’t any drink specials. We dined at 5:00, so thought there might be something offered for this time.

The ambience of The Fed is cozy. Tables were appropriately spaced apart, there was music, but my husband and I could still hold a conversation. The waitstaff was great, and the food was excellent. It was a wonderful evening.

Best restaurant. Never a bad meal. We love this place.

The Fed has great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Their food and drinks are very good, bit pricey.

Menu seemed limited since the last time we were there. Wasn't happy with location of our table, I had asked for a quiet table, as I am very hard of hearing. We were seated in the middle of the main dining. I wasn't able to fully enjoy my company.

The Fed was amazing for brunch! We were seated immediately and had the most delicious food. It's also adorable in there, I wish I could decorate my house just like it!

We got the trout special and it was amazing. I finished my whole meal because I didn't want to share with my boyfriend haha. The staff were all super friendly and gave great recommendations on the food and drinks. Can't wait to go back, definitely worth making a special trip for even if you live out of town.

Nice relaxing dinner great ambience music a tad too loud

Food was good but it was pricy for what you get. Ordered a mixed drink and it came in the smallest glass I’ve ever seen. Literally two drinks and it was gone. It was good - just a little overpriced.

I arrived before my friends and took a seat at the bar. I was so impressed with the decor, staff and drink selection. The host was super friendly as was the bar staff. My friends arrived and we were seated immediately and our server Hayley was very attentive and took our drink order right away. I could go on and on about how beautiful The Fed is. I won’t, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, the ambience was excellent. I look forward to my next visit and expect nothing but the most excellent experience.

I have celiacs and always appreciate the manager coming to the table and truly make sure my food is prepared accordingly. I love that I never have to worry about getting ill after eating due to cross-contamination. Even better is the fact that I don't' have to sacrifice flavor and great food to be gluten-free. So many choices for dietary needs and this keeps me coming back. One more thing!! The service was top notch! I love how amazing the staff always is and that they go out of their way to make dining out a great experience.

Food didn't really live up to our expectations based on price. The best thing we had was the cauliflower starter... but the "featured" entrees were just okay. Honestly, I could have made them better at home. We got the steak and the heritage pork. We left wishing we would have just ordered starters and cocktails. Also (and this is a big pet peeve of mine) the wine glasses had copious amounts of lint all over them, including inside the glass and therefore in my wine!!! We brought this to the attention of our server, and he brushed it off as, "Well, we use the same cloth napkins that you have, and they leave lint. We hire a 16 year old to polish the glasses, and it takes a long time to get them lint-free." Ummmm, okay?! We informed him that Riedel, the same maker of the wine glasses, also makes lint-free drying towels, which we own at home. Sorry, but we have dined at all kinds of high-end and lower end restaurants, and this is the first that we have been to that thinks this is okay. Probably won't be back. Atmosphere is the best in town, though, so it is a shame the attention to detail isn't there.

We had a great meal on the patio and Rob our waiter was very attentive.

Almost everything was perfect except my wife ordered the truffle fries with her queen cut filet and they never brought it out even after several reminders. Eventually she just told them to forget it and make sure to not include it on the bill. Other than that, the experience was great.

The Fed is a lovely place to enjoy brunch with your family and/or friends. We had a good waiter that was very attentive but not pushy. The restaurant always accommodates special requests such as gluten free. The hostess greeted us like we were valued regulars.

Amazing place. Great service, delicious food, beautiful design aesthetic. The server (Roberto) went out of his way to provide top notch service. This place is a hidden gem!

Really enjoyed our brunch at the Fed. We were able to be seated outdoors. Staff was fun and attentive and the food was great! The decor is top notch if you sit inside.

The Fed is always a great experience! The food is amazing, and the service is top notch. Our server Jared is great. He’s kind and provides his favorite food and drink recommendations.

We had the filet and strip steak, best steak cooked exactly as ordered! For sides we had the kale salad, so fresh and full of flavor, asparagus and rice. The atmosphere is so serene!

Building dates back over 100 years. Center of room is the original bank vault which can be reserved for groups of 12. Menu is not real extensive, generally not offering more than two beef, pork, seafood, or pasta entrees. However, the presentations and taste of each of them is very good. Appetizers and side dishes are worthwhile (especially the crispy aioli fries). Prices seem a little high, with wines starting at about $36/bottle. But, then, downtown Clarkston is getting pretty popular.

Loved the ambience, staff was smiley and attentive, the interior is clever and creative with neat and sweet surprises, great music selection and our reservation was for the ideal time, 8:30 Friday night, halfway through our visit, the lights dimmed and music selection changed a little to fit the time, a great first visit experience, will definitely go back with family and friends soon !

Our server was extremely polite and attentive, offered to show us around the building and gave a little history of the restaurants building. Between the great service, stiff drinks, and awesome food, we will be back again!

Menu is limited, but I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Husband got a piece of white fish and I swear it was 18" long AND delicious

Excellent food and service. A bit pricey but good place for special occasions.
