We came here from out of town and had the most
delightful experience. The space was beautiful the food was fabulous. Jarrod (not sure on the spelling) was amazing offered us a tour of the space and knew so much about the design and the history. Truly was a 5 star experience all around. Thank you Fed!
Neat place, but my food (flatbread) had been sitting a while and was not very tasty. For the price of the meal, I expected better. I probably should have sent it back but we had already waited a while for the food.
Food, atmosphere, staff, everything was AMAZING! I’ll definitely be back!
A little pricey, cocktails were just ok, appetizers and meals were pretty god - desert was excellent. The interior of this place is really cool.
Ambiance off the charts . 2nd time there and both times the food was just okay . Surprising for such a nice place .
This was a great dinner! Chris the waiter was top notch and the manager was very attentive and responsive. I highly recommend The Fed!
Excellent food. Farm to table and our meals were fresh and flavorful. We went again the following night and I ordered the same meal because it was so good! Service was very friendly and attentive. Plates were removed and water glasses were refilled quickly. My husband loved the salmon and the filet. I had the lobster gnocchi (x2) and it was incredible!
Ate at the Fed before the Santana concert. Very good food, excellent service. Spoke with the manager regarding wine selection. They have some nice bottles on their list. Corn soup was excellent. Beignets are a nice treat for dessert.
A GORGEOUS restaurant! The decor is amazing. We really thought the area downstairs was cute with much seating. The mimosa bar was perfect. The wait staff was very nice. The owners pay much attention to detail. We want to try dinner one night.
Would have given 5 stars, but they were out of one of the entrees, and they accidentally held our order. They were quick to let us know, and then they comped dessert, but the dessert item two of us ordered were sold out. :( It it had been our first visit, we would have been more upset, but we've been there before, and so we know this was not the norm.
We really like The Fed overall, but I was a bit disappointed this time. The portion of the crispy cauliflower was half of what is has been in the past. It also seemed to take a much longer time to get the food than it had in the past. We were sat in front of the door and it seemed loud, so I suggest asking for a table in the back corner. I had the ice cream cookie for dessert and the cookie was really hard. It would have been better if it were soft. Our waiter was very good and tentative.
Please do away with the napkin/table cloth. My jeans and my wife’s pants were COVERED with white lint. Or have a lint roller at every table 😉
Terrific ambiance - formerly a bank, I would like to try eating in the vault. Cosy seating, well-lit room, wide selection, not too noisy, attentive service. Great attention to detail - coffee is not just a cuppa, it’s coffee, sugar, and a carafe if cream on a ceramic tray. One word of advice - ask about the size of your selection. Some choices are generous, some are dainty. Fabulous applewood bacon. Plan to go again.
We had a nice experience for dinner at The Fed Friday night. It was busy but we were promptly seated and Rob appeared to get our drink order and was spot-on all evening. The food was good and we had a nice birthday celebration for our guest. I was impressed the manager (forgive me if he was the owner) stopped by to review our guest’s order due to her Celiac. He was well educated in the matter and had a few questions to be sure her need were met. All our dinners were very good and the server requested a delightful fruit/ice cream plate from the kitchen in lieu of birthday cake. Great place and look forward to our next visit.
The restaurant was only 25 % full and they sat us back by the kitchen. Terrible table
My friends were here from CA and I was hoping for a nice experience
Menu very limited. Bacon on my husbands sandwich was so over cooked he could not eat it.
Very disappointed in the restaurant. The staff was very nice.
The ambience, service and food were all excellent. Farm to table restaurant.
The biggest issue is that this is expensive and I think the value overall is moderate at best for the cost.
Good place. Quiet as we came at 6:30 P on a Tuesday evening. Unfortunately they present and price meat from Farm Field Table as a premium, but only offer cheap cuts from this premium butcher (e.g. Denver steak, Chuck Eye, etc.). For the price stick to the more usuals cuts on the menu such as NY Strip. Despite this we enjoyed the evening.
The food was fantastic, although a little pricey. The seating was comfortable and the decor/lighting is beautiful there.
To those that have not dined at the Fed “Try it and see what you think”. We were very disappointed based on the pricing for the quality of the food and service we experienced. We expected something superior to the other competition in and around Clarkston. It was not!
We had such an amazing experience!!! I cannot wait to go back! Great menu, varied but not overwhelming. Our server was completely out to lunch BUT everyone was soooo amazing and they recognized our issue without us even having to speak up and all jumped in to more than make everything wonderful! Plus it’s seriously one of the cutest places EVER!!
The Fed is great! I love the decor and the food is always on point. Our sever was fantastic as well. Will be back for sure!
We walked out having NO MEAL . We were seated outside after having a beverage at the bar waiting on outside seating availability NO ONE CAME TO SPEAk TO US OR SHOW ANY INTEREST IN TAKING OUR FOOD ORDER. We walked to HONCHO across the street.
Wonderful food. Dessert was a bit overdone (lava cakes had no lava and were dry) but our dinner was delicious.
Great place. Nice atmosphere, great food.
Maybe for drinks and fries. The food was just ok! Just make sure staff are mindful of their hands and handling food whether in the kitchen or at the bar.
Went to celebrate our anniversary we had a wonderful appetizer and drinks downstairs before our dinner reservation. Meal was wonderful only complaint.. no room for dessert!
Food was just ok. Service was lacking. Wine overpriced and not good quality. The restaurant is very cool inside and great location.
My wife and I stopped in before a concert at DTE. Fairly quiet that early, but began to fill up about half way through our meal. Whitefish was very good. Baked gnocchi with lobster wasn’t bad, but gnocchi was a little too dense. Ice cream sandwich dessert was good. Nice Chardonnay off the wine list. Restaurant is beautiful on the inside
The vibe was very casual and nice. The service was excellent and everyone was vet attentive! Great meal!
Beautiful decor and location. Sometimes the food is a hit and sometimes a miss, but the service is always great.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance! Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The portions were wonderful for the price. New favorite spot!!
Power outage occurred and no one called to let us know that the restaurant was out of power. Had driven from Detroit. Very disappointing.
Our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Fried avocado and fried cauliflower were tasty starters. Our entrees were even better. Crystal was an awesome host too. Looking forward to a return visit.
I did not get my right order, but the food was good. The drinks were great.
Loved the Fed! We have been wanting to dine here since they opened. We were going to a concert nearby so we made a reservation. They didn’t disappoint. The service, food and drinks were top notch. Highly recommended! We will be back and will bring friends.
Food and ambiance were great! Had the chicken limon and it was delicious!! Highly recommend!
Great place! Great service. The fried cauliflower is amazing!! Highly recommend
Curly kale salad was delicious!
90th birthday for my uncle. Provided chairs that were appropriate of his physical limitations & a steak not advertised on the menu. 1st class for flexibility & dining experience.
