   Flag stone floors, no soft furnishes music a bit load one table had someone very vocal all made it hard to talk comfertly. But great ale and food.

   Food was lovely. HOWEVER the pub hadn't received my booking. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us but it was a bit embarrassing.

   We were staying in Faulkland on a 4 day break, family meeting us for evening dinner at the nearby Faulkland Inn. A typical cosy village pub, very accommodating, good bar area and well laid out clean eating area. Quite an extensive menu plus daily specials. All of our six meals were delicious, ample servings for the hungry appetite, nicely presented by helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend the food here. The only complaint would be there was no Guinness for our men folk!!!

   Had a birthday lunch here on Saturday, it was quiet and the service was excellent and the food lovely. We have been here a number of times now, through the week and at the weekend and the service and food is always great. One of our favourite local places

   Stayed here overnight and was mightily impressed with both dinner and breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service impeccable. Other diners also voiced their approval, so it's not just me!

   Sunday lunch with Mothers who are very fussy on traditional roasts.Both were very happy with food and environs. We would go again.

   Booked online but they hadn't checked their bookings therefore weren't aware that we were coming upon arrival.
