Amazing! Food was excellent! Service was amazing as well!
Excellent food and excellent service! Atmosphere is relaxed yet intimate. Highly recommend!
The Fat Snook is one of our top 3 fine dining establishments. We went on Sunday as it was our wedding anniversary. The food was its usual excellence but the service was below our expectations. Cases in point: Our waitress didn't know which side of the place setting to place a requested fork. With about a quarter of our bottle of wine remaining (I had refilled our glasses previously) she assumed that my wife wanted to finish the bottle, never asked "May I pour you some wine" but just emptied the remaining contents of the bottle in my wife's glass and whisked away the bottle and chiller.
I had the shrimp and grits which were excellent; however they were served in a deep bowl which made extraction challenging (they should have used a standard-sized soup bowl (such as the ones in which they served our salads) and they should also have provided a soup spoon instead of just a fork and teaspoon.
That being said, we will go back.....but they'll be on our "watch list" as we really do expect better service from a premium establishment.
Absolutely my fave local spot for fresh fish and a great meal . Casey our server was outstanding !
Hidden gem in Cocoa Beach...a must try. Food, service and ambience was great. Had the bulgoki, duck and grouper...all prepared perfectly! Key lime pie for dessert..delicious!!
Service was excellent food was geeat
First time at The Fat Snook but it won't be our last. Special birthday occasion. Food was very good, and it gave us a chance to show our daughters a little finer dining that our usual restaurant choices. Everybody enjoyed their meals, ending with a birthday candle on the dessert.
The food was very good. The wine list is a very expensive.
Always an excellent evening. Food is creative and perfectly prepared. Wait staff knows their menu and very professional. Thank you, it made my husband's birthday very special.
Food was nicely presented, but lacked flavor, lacking complexity; too conservative for the price and amount of menu choices.
This was our second visit to Fat Snook, both times on our wedding anniversary. I make my way around the kitchen in a gourmet way, although it's a bit pricey for me it's worth every penny, because I understand the work involved to create what they do with the food, service and ambiance that their staff creates.
Always delicious. Always great service.
Nice welcome test from Chef
Unique combination of flavor
Definitely coming back
They made a great effort to keep us comfortable. They did a temperature check when we came in and the staff had masks on.
The food was excellent. The grits were unforgettable! They also gave us a nice card for our anniversary.
The staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks.
What a find! cool vibe, serious talented chef plays on seafood and other meats, chill music, Great wine list and personable wait staff! Unexpected modern gem in cocoa beach
Fabulous meal and outstanding service for our anniversary dinner. Hadn't been here in about 10 years, thought we'd give it a try again. Everything improved since last visit. Nice ambiance, more relaxed and less hoity-toity than last visit. Food and service were outstanding and the prices very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this place!
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and were treated like royalty! The food was delicious and we were provided with various special little surprises to make our special night even more special. The service was great and the restaurant is cute and quaint. We will be back for sure.
Service was impeccable. Food excellent
Service was wonderful. Food delicious and beautiful. A lovely daye night with my spouse
Very fancy food, one of the top restaurants in my experience. The food was outstanding, the chef is quite talented. We arrived at 8 pm on a Sunday night when most restaurants were closed for the evening. We were greeted and cared for by a well-trained waiter and were pleasantly surprised by the beef and seafood options with spectacular vegetables and cuisine with lots of well-developed tastes. It was a top-notch experience!
Excellent, as always. Food and service is always impeccable. The amuse-bouche is always delightfully creative and a great start to the meal. Catch #1 and Catch #2 are always amazing, and the duck is absolutely the best! The Caribbean cornbread is delicious as is the Poblano shrimp and grits...everything on the menu is delicious! An amazingly consistent restaurant--The Fat Snook is a real gem!
Really delicious food. Beautiful and unique presentation. Waiter showed an excellent knowledge of menu.
Excellent well prepared food. Loved the variety of the menu. There is something for everyone.. if you are a foodie go here. We highly recommend and would come back next time we are in Cocoa Beach.
Quite possibly the best grits I've ever had
Food and service were excellent! My husband had the duck and I had a special of the grilled mahi-mahi. Both were excellent!Price of wine was a bit expensive. Dinner entrees were reasonably priced. Totally enjoyed the meal but the bill was a bit expensive because we had 2 wines each. Would definitely return!
Friendly staff and wonderful food.
I hadn’t been to the Fat Snook in a few years. It was always one of my very favorite restaurants. When we recently went, I ordered the Chicken Leg Confit with a side of grilled broccolini. Boy was I more than disappointed. The chicken was extremely dry I could barely choke down the few bites I took. It came with a baby bok choy salad which was tasteless and dry. The side of broccolini looked as though it had been prepared days before. It was so wilted and overcooked it truly was hard to tell what it was. The mediocre glass of chardonnay, which can be purchased at Publix was $23 a glass!! I left very saddened knowing that the Fat Snook I once knew apparently does not exist anymore. On the upside the service provided by Brian was excellent.
Parking is tough if your timing isn’t perfect, and our server was less than totally observant of our needs. Our food was excellent, especially those oysters(!) but $9 is an exorbitant price for 2 stalks of broccolini.
Not only would I recommend the Fat Snook to a friend, I would also to an enemy. The food and service are outstanding. I have a number of friends who also frequent this restaurant and no one has ever said they had a bad meal. The wait staff are knowledgeable on the entire menu and make great recommendations. I asked about a particular wine and our server advised to wait on that one as it still needed to age a bit. He recommended another wine (same price point) and it didnt let us down.
How nice it is to have a meal at a place whose focus is 100% on the customer and ensuring the guests have a wonderful experience.
What a great find for inventive, delicious food in Cocoa Beach. We went for brunch and the food was fresh, creative and delicious. The decor was charming and the staff very good.
It was an incredible dining experience, just as we had suspected it would be. Everything from the palate cleanser to the key lime pie for dessert exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.
Outstanding 7 course meal for Valentines... food and service were excellent.
Excellent pre Valentines Day menu for dinner. Food was outstanding and great service. A bit disappointed in the wine selected for the 3 courses. We would still go back and next time pick a better wine
Wonderful find thanks to TripAdvisor! When in the area be sure to add this top and stop by for wonderful dining experience!
Great server who was lots of fun and told us about the history of the restaurant from the beginning. Food was so delicious. Best black grouper I have ever had. It’s by far our favorite restaurant in Brevard County. Give it a try and we promise you that it will not disappoint.
Fabulous food, beverages and service! Would absolutely recommend - especially for a special occasion.
Was very busy and staff stressed
Our food sat and was warm not hot but was very tasty
They forgot our appetizer
We would need a reason or incentive to go back
And the parking was very challenging
Really enjoyed eating here food was mostly a good value wine was a bit pricey and we had to park in a wet ditch, but the food was really Good!
