   We love the Fat Landlord and have been a few times now - the only criticism is that the menu hasn't changed but I gather this is on their 'to do' list - we're so lucky to have this place in our village :)

   Group of three casual dining. Caesar salad exceptional with fresh chicken not pre-pack pieces. Burger excellent, sea bass excellent. Service excellent and friendly. Only let down was that on our visit it wasn’t very busy so lacked a little bit of atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend

   Easy to find, the Fat Landlord is s great place to eat. We had a lovely lunch, beer good, excellent table service

   The restaurant layout was very good not too cramped or penn d in like some. The atmosphere was very friendly and not too loud. The service was excellent and very attentive, no long wait and staff were very friendly with good knowledge. As for the food I’d say it was the best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a very long time. Meat was exceptional and veg very tasty and cooked to perfection. We shall be returning very soon!

   Finally managed to get here after cancelling because of snow. Smaller than I imagined but a good proper pub. The food was very good and enjoyed by all our party. Good value for money and would definitely come again

   Tiny bar on arrival, feels like you’ve gone through the wrong door, but you haven’t! No fruit ciders. Landlord dug out the last one out from the cellar. Food was very good, limited menu, but all cooked and presented well. Chunky chips were superb! Waiting staff were polite and attentive. Very small village pub. Would we go back? -probably, but only for food.

    food was delicious and presented beautifully - such a great place for the local area and anyone who enjoys great food. The pub is cosy and relaxed and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Only slightly negatives were my sea bass was a little over cooked and the toilets could do with a make over but highly recommend this place if you want some fantastic food that is restaurant quality in a lovely English pub. Worth a trip.
