The staff was awesome and I don’t think our food could of come out faster or better.
One of our favorites
Service was extremely slow. Realize they didn’t have many servers so it want servers fault but they just need more people to work
Delicious and inventive food and a really superlative staff. Our party had the chicken, the black bean falafel, the duck and the salmon. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Wonderful seasoning and presentation for each one. We also had the hummus appetizer which was a big hit. Congratulations, The Fat Lamb on your awesome place.
We had the goat cheese dip which was outstanding. For dinner the duck and lamb ragu, also amazing. The Fat Lamb never disappoints!
Our group was small (3) and we were going out to eat prior to the World Championship Horse Show. That dictated we eat early and leave early in order to get to the show at the KY Expo Center, park, walk in and get to our seats. They accommodated this easily. The food was good, beautifully presented and the service was timely. They did everything we needed.
Food and service were outstanding. Waitress was top notch in providing excellent service.
Love the veggie starters and the creative menu. The ricotta gnocchi with lamb ragu is amazing as is the nutella dessert. This is a foodie restaurant with fresh ingredients and interesting flavor combinations.
The food here really is excellent. This is not a strip mall restaurant like it might look like. It has a great menu and great service. Last two times I’ve been our entire meal was excellent.
Fantastic food and great, quick service. The quality of the food and drinks was incredible especially considering how quickly it made it to our table.
We had reservations, but ended up eating at the bar. David, the bartender, was amazing! The pickled beet salad was my favorite! The sea bass was very flavorful and cooked perfectly!
Food was good but the atmosphere was obnoxious.
Loud drunk regulars crowded the bar, ruining what should have been a nice dinner where I shouldn't have had to shout to speak with my wife.
I liked the restaurant. The ambiance is nice, the server was kind and fast. I ordered the duck breast and it was delicious.
Amazing food!! So full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Our service was friendly and accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Highly recommend, will definitely return when I’m in Louisville again.
Everything was absolutely delicious. We had the burger, the salmon and the scallops. Our server was detail oriented and wonderful. Highly recommend!
We went for my birthday dinner it was fantastic we will be back.
Fat Lamb never disappoints. We go here for Date Night quite a bit. Great food! The baked goat cheese is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Warm, friendly and superior service. The food was amazing and unique.
Awesome burgers and fries
Fantastic choices on the menu - both meat and seafood. Try the Brussel sprouts appetizer and scallop entree!
Great place. Would really recommend this to anyone in town or living here.
The bar tender was great with bourbon suggestions and things to do in the area. The lamb chops were outstanding!
LOVE! Repeat customers, Reliably great experience.
Pre-Covid, Covid, Post-Covid this restaurant has been one of our Louisville favorites. So happy to see the good crowd there last night. For a change from the lamb that I favor, last night I had the duck. Medium rare, with delicious garlic infused broccoli, and smashed potatoes, it was delicious. My wife enjoyed the Sea Bass, artfully presented and (according to her) delicious as well. For an appetizer we shared a generous portion of humus, with warm Nan bread. Excellent (with leftovers being lunch today)! The menu continues to offer something for everyone (seafood to meat), and even a hamburger if that's all one wishes. Unique craft cocktails are also offered, along with a good wine list (including Twomey!). I heartily recommend this restaurant, as can be seen in my previous Open Table and Yelp reviews. Give it a try!
I have eaten all over the United States in my travels at some of the finest restaurants. Louisville has a gem in the menu here with Dallas and his team. I can't imagine living within two hours of Louisville and not trying them out..
There for a girl's night. Started with sharing the brussels app and the goat cheese. Both were delicious on their own, and heavenly together if just a little goat cheese was included with bite of brussels. We enjoyed the gnocchi with lamb ragu (little pillows of gnocchi with lamb deliciousness) and the curry salmon. Katie, our server, was attentive but not imposing. Will definitely return!
Incredible food, rustic, homey, and modern atmosphere. I live 2 hours away and I would definitely come back.
Lindsay is an excellent server: courteous and efficient. The food is delicious. We ordered the gnocchi and the curried salmon (pictured). Both entrees tasted spectacular.
Food was mediocre. Blueberry tart was amazing. Salmon was great on the outside but not cooked the same on the inside. Service was strong. Prices were far from a good value. Duck was good. Lamb meatballs were poor. Hamburger was strong. Fries excellent. Prices not in line with the food quality and the type of restaurant. High potential restaurant. Easily fixed… maybe a bad night. Not trying to be overly critical.
Great menu, great service, neat experience! Will be back!

I'd eaten their carryout before (during pandemic lockdown) and this was my first time dining in. Went for lunch and was so glad I did! We were the only ones there at lunchtime and got all of the attention--smiling attentive service and they were able to handle our accessibility requests. I treated a friend to their ricotta gnocchi w/lamb ragu while I had the paprika they found them and held them for me when I rushed back an hour later. Highly recommended!
We were all pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was and the service was perfect.
The food is wonderful. What really stands out though, is the service.
Exceptional food, drinks, and service. We’ll definitely be back!
Ate with a girlfriend. The cocktail I had was amazing. Wonderful wines. Lamb meatballs were super. The presentation was beautiful.
The cons... waitress announced immediately to us that she hated Wednesdays and she couldn't wait to get off. We tried to cheer her up over the course of the meal. I had the scallops and found the scallops to be nicely cooked but everything else to be kind of bland. Spices were off and seemingly not za'atar. The fiend had the duck and it was saturated with cumin and the fat was not rendered well. Both dishes lacked acid. The desserts were ok not great.
A must visit place when in Louisville. Great unique eats along with fabulous staff. We really enjoyed the visit.
Very good food. For a place called the Fat Lamb I expected more than one lamb option. That said the lamb was excellent and a great bottle of Frogs Leap Cabernet as well. Very nice meal.
