   Fantastic food and lovely service. Restaurants is tastefully decorated and very welcoming. The bar area is very nice and again great service.

   Terrible service from head of house-he was rude, aggressive and clearly would rather we were not there. We booked a table for 8.15 and arrived late at 8.21 - we were time the kitchen shut in 9 minutes so if we didn’t order in next 9 minutes we couldn’t eat. There are ways of speaking to customers and approaching a late arrival- all be it 6 minutes, but his manner was so poor I would have walked out but I was treating a guest and didn’t want to let them down. The rest of the waiters were delightful and attentive and the found was nice, but he ruined what should have been a great evening.

   Beautiful restaurant, very professional service. We had the fish and chips, tasted very fresh, no complaints. A very nice restaurant for a special occasion. Would definitely recommend and return.

   We visit Harrogate regularly and have done so for many many years. We have usually dined at the Fat Badger. Up until recently we haven't encountered any problems. My wife has special dietary requirements and last year she told by the waitress there was nothing she could eat. So my wife asked to speak to the person managing the restaurant and thankfully they did find her something to eat. This year not wishing one bad experience to put us off we went back again. Having been shown to our table and ordered our meal we then waited 48 minutes before the food arrived. During which time we were asked to confirm our order a second time then waited a further 20 minutes for our meal to arrive. The most gauling thing about the whole experience was a table of 6 next to us arrived twenty minutes after we did and had almost finished their meal before ours arrived. We had planned on dining on two nights, however we subsequently cancelled the second night and won't be dining there again.

    Third time that we’ve eaten here and every time it’s been spot on. Great food (Sunday roast was delicious) and excellent customer service - very polite and attentive staff. Thanks - we’ll be back when we’re next visiting Harrogate.
