EXCELLENT service but the fried chicken was over-battered. Papaya salad was ok. Tacos were DELICIOUS.

Erin our server was helpful with food and beverage recommendations. She was incredibly attentive. She is s keeper!

Would absolutely go back for the service and the tacos alone. Willing to try other dishes as this was my first time.

The ambiance was great and our waitress was super sweet. I really enjoyed my cocktail and I am not a big drinker.

Overall good experience, though some items on their menu were unavailable.

During covid times one can be weary as to where to eat or venture out as a whole. I have been twice during the pandemic and they are very respectful to the guidelines. Your temperature is checked upon arrival, the entrance way is verified to be lear upon entry. As soon as someone moves without a mask you are intervened to remind you.

I requested at my birthday dinner to double up the tables and they graciously did so. With us being outside, they even more so checked up on us to make sure we were warm and brought extra heaters as guests outdoors left.

The maitre d went above and beyond with comfort and recommendations. As an event planner, I would highly recommend this space as a safe covid friendly hip venue with a quality of food and service that surpasses many.

The decoration was realy well done with a 90's retro vibe that we loved. The music was old school too, but the DJ's only-rap catalog was a downside. Our host service, Rose, was impeccable. The food was good, but not amazing. The big con was the price: 130$ for an insanly poor choice of cheap beers (only 1 choice of craft beer if I remember well), a 7$ bottle of Eska bubble water and aroung 90$ of ok food. I would recommend anytime for the ambiance/vibe and service, but the food/price ratio is a no-go.

I absolutely loved my first time at the Farsides! Service was excellent, the presentation of food was flawless and it was delicious! Had a great time with my girls. The ambiance is cool, and the deco is really original and nice!!! Loved the music as well. I highly recommend the place, I will definitely go again!

This restaurant is THE COOLEST in town! The ambiance the staff and the food are stellar! I definitely recommend for a great and authentic/ worldclass Montreal experience!

Food was mediocre at best.
Noise was too high for a restaurant.
For a place that advertises itself to be modern and fancy, it was more like trashy and low-class. A lot of bachelor/bachelorette parties, people did not dressed well, a lot of men hanging around the door like it is some sort of club, felt very predatory and creepy. A lot of them were shouting like it was a low class bar. The servers were abrasive with their handling of the plates. People go there with their Aldo or H&M bags and pose in the bathrooms with the designer logos wallpapers and pretend to be cool and stylish, it's pathetic really.

If you are planning on booking the table for a later reservation and not leaving the previous reservation being able to stay and enjoy the night you should mention it in the reservation schedule. We booked a table of 4 @ 7h30pm expecting to spend the entire night there, but we have been told that we had to leave @10h30pm because there was another reservation and they had no place elsewhere.
Also, price vs good quality isn’t really there.

Very good food and drinks - the drunken lobster pad Thai was definitely a favorite and so was the dim sum. Great place to go and try a few things with friends!

Restaurant had a great vibe and great music. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. Highly recommend

For the decor, the courtesy of the staff and the ambiance, I would recommend the Farsides. However, the main meals take a significant amount of time to arrive. Therefore, it affects the overall experience of the customers.

We had a good time there. The decor is very nice and dynamic, the meal was good! I’d definitely come back here again.

Portions were a bit of a let down for me, but thats really the only downside. Everything else was great.

Le service par la serveuse = 0 , très très long avant de recevoir nos commandes, autant du côté des boissons que nourriture. Elle venait nullement nous voir, il fallait se lever pour aller la chercher car ça faisait facilement 30-40 minutes qu'on attendait. Ceux qui servent l'eau étaient parfait. J'adore votre resto, j'y vais souvent mais vous devriez vous améliorez côté service aux tables sinon vous allez perdre des clients.

Service did not match the price tag on the menu. Food quality and presentation was quite good, however service needs a big improvement. Even after manager realized and made an attempt to rectify...we are still waiting.

The food was not great. We were expecting much better. I barely had anything on my plate. It was way too expensive for what it was. The service took long, had to ask twice to get our beers. Also the sangria had too much ice.
Not a terrible experience overall but certainly not worth the bill we paid for.

Nice place although I was expecting more of a Hawaiian theme in terms of decor. The decor is cute but not really hawaiian style.

Drinks were good.

Service was ok but one waitress made a rude comment which kinda ruined it for me.

The outdoor seating is great and large but a huge downside is that the kitchen fan blows right there so the whole terrasse really smells like kitchen fumes.

Overall would go back. Cute place to go for drinks and great music.

La nourriture était à couper le souffle et le personnel très accueillant. Nous étions 3 personnes et avons prit 2 entrées à partager et 2 plats principaux et nous étions remplies. La sangria est excellante aussi!

Le farsides selon moi est une farce on paye pour le décor et non pour la qualité de la nourriture burger sec Filet mignon mal cuit meme les serveurs ne connaissent pas leur cuisson.

The food wasnt good

The food is usually good here. Their fries with avocado were good. The beef taco was okay, though it did have a tuna taste to it. The beef skewers were not as tender or flavorful as the last time I had them there. Also, my friend got a cake that they called Jamaican Rhum Cake, and it just look like a French Toast Sponge Cake with Maple syrup. There was a little bit of rhum flavor, but calling the cake Jamaican - is an insult to the culture.

The temperature upstairs was just way to hot .... non sense

The place is great but they have one major problem with the Air Conditioning. It was not possible to stay on the second floor. Even the first floor was really warm. We were sweating profusely. Not exactly great for a date.. I would not recommend the place until they fix that problem.

Restaurant ambience was very nice! Sat outside in the terrace on a beautiful summer night. Beautiful Sangria choices. Food was okay. Service was very nice!
