Our family ate here for dinner on a Friday night. We had reservations and were promptly seated. The server was excellent, attentive but not invasive. The food was good, the fresh tomato salad excellent.
We started with the appetizers and they were impeccable. But when the main course came, we were very disappointed. When I was about to order the gnocchi, the waiter warned me the portion wasn't big. He wasn't kidding. US$15 for 6 tiny ricotta gnocchis on the plate! The portion was even smaller than any of the appetizers, which doesn't make any sense to me! The spaghetti, served with pomodoro sauce, was so thick it resembled buccattini and it was very chewy (not al dente). We also ordered skate but it was very fishy.
Waiter was not very friendly. Considering the amount of bill, did not enjoy the dining experience.
We found this restaurant to be exceptional in several ways. The food was extremely tasty reasonably priced and on top of that very healthy. I highly recommend trying Farmhouse.
The restaurant was surprisingly empty. We came for dinner at 5pm. The service was good but the food was just so so. The pricing was high, dinner for 2 was $100 and we didn’t even order the expensive meals. I would t have a problem paying if the food warranted the prices but it didn’t. Presentation was beautiful but the taste didn’t measure up to those prices.
Food was good and our server Alex was great
This place is unparalleled. The food is so fresh and flavorful and the staff so helpful it will be hard to believe it’s in a mall. The owner is always on hand to deliver meals or to water the live plants adorning the ceiling and walls. There are numerous amazing dishes but the roast beef sandwich and battered cod sandwich are standouts.
And let’s talk about the heirloom and burrata salad that is crave-worthy. It’s perfect. In every way.
The staff is friendly and will help make suggestions so you can have the perfect dining experience.
I can’t say enough great things about this place.
Tip: valet your car. It’s right outside the restaurant (inside the Beverly Center). The restaurant validated your parking so it’s free for 3 hours.
The food was wonderful and so was the service. Landon did a great job as a server and we will definitely be back. We loved everything about our experience here.
So satisfied I chose this spot for the 2nd time. Food is healthy real yet delicious. Especially the pizza and potato nee-yo-keez. The experience is grand natural materials easy going and sophisticated.
Good food, excellent service (waitress & busing).
My friend arrived before me. I told the hostess that she was seated and headed over to the table. The hostess must not have understood me and attempted to ask me to wait. However, I saw my friend and joined her at the table.
We had an excellent lunch combo that began with the heirloom tomato caprese salad with the perfect
olive oil dressing and just the right amount of salt and crunchy french bread croutons followed by
the fried sea bass fish sandwich - delicious!!!
We had the warm chocolate chip cookies with sweet whipped cream for dessert - amazing!!!
Birthday for our 10 year old Goddaughter.. lovely evening and great food and atmosphere.
Amazing and delicious!
Need a better wine selection -
Cute decore but small portions and overpriced. Service was good. Won’t return bc there are too many other excellent options.
I shop at the owners farmstands but was blown away by the precision, quality and ambiance of the restaurant. The salad and fish sandwich were amazing - perfectly cut, mixed, fried fish and toppings, bun - it seemed simple but the thought, freshness and combinations of flavors just don’t get any better. Priced well for the location and convenient free valet parking. Can’t get much better than this!
I had chosen this place after reading comments but really, its a nice place, nice decor, and the idea is great.
Food is OK at best, and the place feels cold...like a family style dinner or shopping mall restaurant - which is exactly that. Go w family or friends. Don’t bring foodies there.
I love this place. The food is always delicious and the service and ambience is terrific. I am a regular for lunch.
I receive a lot of emails about Farmhouse so I thought I would give this place a try for my friend’s birthday. The ambience was amazing. They redid the grand Lux beautifully. Interestingly there was hardly any people in there despite it being a Saturday night in Beverly Hills. The menu is very limited considering that you would think every dish will taste great. We ordered the hanger steak, chicken and prawn from the menu. The food was not horrible but it was not very good either; definitely not a place you would go for a tasty meal. Our server was gorgeous similar what you find in many restaurants in west Hollywood and Beverly Hills. But that’s where his expertise ended; he was never rude but definitely very surly. It didn’t feel like he wanted to be there. The best part was when he brought the device for us to pay the check. Interestingly the device lists the lowest tip as 18%and The gorgeous waiter stood there watching us how we tipped. This whole situation was very uncomfortable. I understand restaurants trying to use device to keep things moving but hovering over us to see how much we tip is very awkward. Most likely this is my first and last visit to farmhouse!
Street level at The Beverly Center, you'll get free valet with your meal. The food was perfect and tasted great. The service was on point too. Everyone attentive and friendly! We'll be back for sure.
I was disappointed. Our waiter was a little surly (when I asked what he'd recommend as "dietetic" he sarcastically asked which diet. Really? I ordered the steak and iceberg wedge - the steak was tasteless, looked like it had been seared earlier and sat around - and the wedge was okay but nothing special.
I've always had what I considered to be "clean" and fresh food but not this time.
The music is way too loud, we had to shout and I guess Farmhouse is not my go-to lunch spot anymore.
Very cool interior delicious food
Excellent, we had such a great experience! Love LA eats menu
Very, very small potions for the $$$
Unequivocally the best farm to table restaurant in Los Angeles. Exceptional in every way.
Yummy farm to table eats in elegant setting. Only downside is portions were small.
Not good. The food was fine but the entire restaurant was engulfed in smoke. The had placed near the doors to circulate the smoke out so they new this was an issue. My eyes got so red and watery. I also JUST spent money on getting a blow out and left this restaurant with my hair and wardrobe smelling a camp fire. Not even exaggerating. Had to go home and wash my hair to get the smell out, ultimately having wasted that money on my blowout from earlier. Don’t even know how being open with that sort of air circulation is legal.
Dined at Farmhouse LA during dineLA. The $39 menu consisted of a starter, main, and dessert. We chose the starters (ceviche and gnocchi), the mains (half chicken and flank steak), and the desserts (chocolate tart and a baked crumble/tart). All were very good and tasty. Service was erratic - very prompt and friendly at the beginning and a bit less at the end. If you have not dined at the Farmhouse before, going there during dineLA is definitely worth it as you get a sense of the restaurant and the overall cost is less than a "regular" dining experience at the Farmhouse LA. Overall, great food, good service in a somewhat noisy dining room. If you are in the Beverly Center area, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out for a nice after-shopping dining experience.
Food is mediocre at best. The only thing good about this place is the interior. The place is not packed but we had to wait 30 minutes between appetizers and main course. The drinks are weak yet expensive.
Waited and waited for our food.
Waitress was good but she couldn’t
hurry the kitchen. We got free desserts to compensate but by then it was “too late”. Very noisy.
Food was terrific, it was my birthday and they brought out a candle on my dessert. The waiter that we had was great too but the only weird that happened was with the bus boy (or other wait staff person). While I was in the bathroom and my husband and daughter were seated at the table , he took my napkin. When my husband said she’s in the bathroom and needs her napkin , he came back and threw another napkin on the table . Let me be clear he threw it at them with attitude. Really weird . Hate to mention this because we really liked the place and our from the Midwest and appreciate all that farmers do for our country.
Wonderful ambiance, uncomfortable chairs, great cocktails and food was fresh, tasty and well composed.
We will definitely be back!
on a Thursday night 8 PM reservation plenty of seats in the dining room. Small portions of food however deliciously made. roasted hen of the woods (Vegan) and Spaghetti pomodoro came w 1 meatball at add'l cost. a tasty crisp leaf salad & yummy yellowtail ceviche. accompanied w cple rounds of scotch. to our surprise the kitchen closed at 9 PM or maybe 9:30 can't remember (early in my opinion) and we were still hungry and wanted to order more food. Our waiter comp'd us a desert item, thank you! we'll be back soon
Food was really bad - mushy pizza crust, pesto pasta was worst ever. Waiter messed up order. Stay away.
Made reservations on a Wednesday but didn't need to. We got there in time for happy hour and sat at the bar. Vibes were great. The happy hour drink menu was amazing (I looked at the regular cocktail menu and felt the drinks looked better, ended up ordering one and the happy hour drink was better)
We had the meatballs and the bread was so fresh and amazing with it.
Also had the broccoli salad (I was worried about it being too.... raw) but the texture was great and taste was delicious, and then we also had the popcorn cauliflower which was AMAZING. Best I've had. Would def go back, and happy hour was a steal
This is my go-to spot. It's fun, relaxing, seasonal and delicious. And 4 hours of free valet. Zero downside.
Good food, great service, perfect ambiance, free valet, awesome!
Nice place for brunch/lunch.
Great table service and convenient reasonable parking .
Try the House Beer/Lager It was refreshing and outstanding.
This is my go-to spot, whether I'm meeting friends or family or having a business meal. There's always something yummy for carnivores and vegetarians, and their $22 two-course lunch can't be beat. You can eat tucked away in a cozy corner to, on Thursday, we sat near the bar so we could watch the soccer match. And come on, 4 hours free Valet? How does life in LA get better than that?
