Our Farm to Table BYOB restaurant is based in a beautifully renovated historic building that dates back to 1859. You will be pleasantly surprised by our cozy ambiance as you dine from our rotating menu of fresh, locally sourced, and sustainable ingredients. Our restaurant's interior features the original hardwood floors and fireplaces. You can also dine al fresco in our very popular year-round patio area, a.k.a The Garden Terrace. If you would like to add a wine to your meal, you can purchase one of the 7 delicious wines we feature from Coda Rossa Winery, a local New Jersey winery based out of Franklinville.

With our knowledgeable staff, and hands-on ownership, you can trust that your experience at The Farmhouse will always be an enjoyable one.

We have become a popular destination for private parties. If you are hoping to dine with 7, or more, please call to book your reservation. The Garden Terrace is opened year round, during the cold weather it's enclosed and heated.

Indoor & outdoor seating is nice. Decent portion size. Friendly staff but a little confused at times; bringing us a salad after we had just finished eating it & removing plate; wifi issues & iPad dying had the waiter flustered with the order, sometimes old school order taking is better. Atmosphere was cute, got noisy after a large group was seated. Was looking forward to dessert but they were boring & not creative as we hoped. We'd go again with the new seasonal menu.

Expectations were high for quality food. We had snapper, pork chops, and scallops. Chop was dry and snapper had too much surrounding it that masked the fish..very disappointing. Worst part was service..probably three tables filled..had to ask for refill of water and searched for waiter to get our check. Won’t return

The Farmhouse always offers a wide array of “Farm to Table” food. All the preparation is innovative, and the menu changes frequently, according to season. We enjoy sitting outdoors and sharing a variety of small plates and entrees. The service is always excellent.

Food came out late- was undercooked.
Service ok. Food taste ok.
Waited for bill too long. Owner never even came out after food returned.
Can’t forget the sound and smell of what seemed to be the dumpster next to the outdoor seating.
Overpriced for this experience.

Food only average, nothing special at all. Bison meatballs very dry and came out in 2 minutes from order which felt wrong. Waiter was friendly but fidgety and loud and trying too hard to be funny. No atmosphere, place was very empty, and too bright.

Everything was really good and fresh, with the exception of the kids chicken nuggets. The nuggets were packaged and processed chicken it seemed. The food here is really good and the staff and owner are extremely nice, so they should just step it up with the kids food as well. I would definitely come here again!

The food was fabulous,innovative,fresh,a real treat. The chef here is a food genius. The explosion of tastes is really incredible. This restaurant is definitely a must try. They have a rewards program also. I can't wait to go back.

It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Such a charming dining environment....the food was excellent and the staff was amazing. Don't expect huge portions, but the food is clean and very tastefully prepared. Highly recommend.

Delicious as always. They use local farms from South Jersey and surrounding areas for their seasonal produce and meats. Menu items are always executed well. The servers have been great every time we've visited. I'd definitely recommend checking them out!

Our server was very nice, Emily. Liked her very much. The brussel sprouts and fish were delicious. I thought the special panzanella salad with heirloom tomatoes was very light on the tomatoes - I think there were three tiny grape tomatoes.

Bland food. Had our hopes very high, were severely let down. Almost rvery aspect of the experience fell short for us. With a menu priced the way it is, everything needs to be bumped up a notch. Will try again in a few months, hopefully it was just an off night for the kitchen.

Excellent meal! The brussel sprouts appetizer, branzino entree were amazing. Clearly made with fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection with a light hand. Wine from a local winery available for purchase. Definitely worth a trip. Great for a special occasion. Beautiful patio area for a private party. Nice to know there is a local (for me) restaurant with this level of food, ambiance and service.

My husband and I hosted my grandmother for a special Mother's Day celebration this past weekend. On this day, the Farmhouse featured a buffet which included an omelet station. Candidly, I was shocked and so very disappointed at the selection of food offerings.

While I have eaten from plenty of buffets, I have never been to a buffet that was so lacking in variety, especially for a restaurant the caliber of The Farmhouse. Mac and cheese and chicken fingers for the children, I understand. But, when I took a spoonful of the macaroni and cheese, it was totally dry and flaky. There were two chafing dishes of chipped beef (not sure why). The chipped beef was (tragically) sitting upon dry toast which made the chipped beef even drier and completely unappealing. So sad. There was the adult version of chicken fingers (I guess) as a protein option along with a carving station of filet (which was tasty). The only vegetable offered was cauliflower, at first glance. Hidden in the dessert section was snap peas and strawberries, which were quite good. I was very disappointed that there wasn't at least a salad option, at minimum. What about vegetarian and gluten-free options?

Honestly, of all the fine, local restaurant options available, I was embarrassed that I chose The Farmhouse for this special celebration. Likely, that won't happen again. Sad.

It was loud and we were a little disappointed w our dinner. We had the Bronzino. The fish was fresh but bland and it came w a slaw like greens on top of it and nothing else. It would have been nice if it came w a potato or another side. We had a salad first and that was good. For the price we expected to be more impressed. They were also out of the dessert we wanted. I'm glad we went but we won't rush back.

Started out fine. Inside is a little stark. Ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and they were excellent. Then ordered the tomatoes, mozzarella, strawberries, pesto spread, balsamic. Not that good. Tomatoes a little mushy, mozzarella bland, pesto no flavor. My wife ordered the fish tacos. Fish not crispy and were more on the fishy side. I ordered the pork chop. Pork chop was cooked perfectly but no flavor or seasoning. Topping of shaved brussel sprouts were bland. Pork chop was on top of a potato latke. The latke became mushy because of the pork chop juices.
People were nice and service was good but based on our meals I would not recommend.

Overall, our experience here was very good. There were 4 of us and 3 of us very much enjoyed our meals. The fish tacos were a bit dry. The ambiance is great, the place was clean. Our server was very attentive and really chatty. We would return, but probably wouldn't order the fish tacos again. The impossible burger, chicken a la king, and gruyere truffle burger were very good.

We have been to the Farm House in past and had an enjoyable experience and was the reason we came back for my Husbands birthday dinner. There was a Shower going on that day so not sure if that is what contributed to the poor service this time around. It took an hour to get hour meal, when we finally got our meal my sons burger was not made right. I asked for a spoon for my young daughter and our waiter forgot, so 10mins passed and I had to ask another bus boy. Then we asked for refills on water and again were forgotten for a bit. Finally what upset me the most was that we ordered one of your desserts to sing Happy Birthday to my husband and they actually brought it out while I was in the restroom with my 6 yr old, which if nothing else, that cake meant more to her than my husband. Our waiter even saw us walking to the bathroom. I do partly blame my husband who could have waited until we returned but by then we had been there for nearly 2 hrs and I just wanted to leave.
Not sure if i will return.

Restaurant had a big party earlier in the day and seemed unable to recover from it. Our appetizers were good but very small and pricey for the portion. I ordered chicken ala king over risotto, it was inedible. Risotto was luke warm and lumpy, chicken was pieces of deep fried over battered chicken breast with absolutely no flavor. The manager did take the entree off our bill. My dining partner had truffle burger with fries -- which he could not eat. Fries were cooked to hard stick. Desserts were good. I had really looked forward to going here as I heard great things about it. Perhaps it was an off night, but an expensive off night. We will most likely not go back. Also to note, I received an email from OpenTable telling me the restaurant canceled our reservation. I had to call twice to make sure we still had a table. A weird experience overall.

Have eaten here a bunch of times and never disappointed. Inventive dishes, locally-sourced dishes, seasonal menu, friendly service and a lovely spot to eat outdoors. Also, quiet enough to talk to your dining companion.

Another great meal at the BYOB Farmhouse. We like it for its seasonal innovative menu, casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Our server, Zander, was well informed, attentive, and picked up on how to treat us. Thanks, BTW, for the extra sourdough toast to soak up that excellent mussel broth. Coudos on the inclusion of ramps with the grilled octopus and garlic scape & ricotta toast. WRT a few other reviews here about portion size, we are more than happy tasting a variety of foods and leaving sated, not stuffed. Your milage may differ, but if you're just looking for quantity, there are lots of choices for you. Our advice: slow down and taste your food.

It was our first visit but won't be our last. All four of us enjoyed our meal. Very fresh, seasonal choices cooked as requested and seasoned well. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Also a plus that it's a BYOB or you can buy a selection of wines they offer.

Please ignore the previous negative reviews! I'm glad my husband and I did. We had a excellent meal from beginning to end. Our server Paul was attentive and helpful. We chose to order the fixed price menu which included 3 courses. with an optional dessert for $7.00. We were told that the menu changes evry month or so . We will definitely return!

Overall we were very pleased with our first experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and the menu provided a lot of choices for our party. The best deal is to do the tasting menu and it is worth it. The portions are not shrunk down, you get full size for each of the 3 courses. We had brussel sprouts, pretzels, cornish hen and fried green tomatoes, all were delicious. All of us had salads which were also excellent. My beet salad was very nice with a horseradish dressing, clementines and goat cheese. Our entrees were delicious, fish was cooked perfectly, my lamb loin was medium rare and very tasty.

My only recommendation is to the staff, please learn how to space out the courses. It would be great to have 5-10 minutes between courses and not end up with piles of plates on the table. One other comment, when a guest decides to take something home with them please hold that container on the side somewhere for when the meal is over, bringing it over to the table while we still had 2 more courses was a little odd.

Overall, a great meal and great experience, the service just needs a little polish. Can't wait to head back again.

My companion was put off by the smells and noise of the outside seating. We were graciously moved inside. Waiter was quite engaging and knowledge and to be fair warned me about the veal. Here said center city was wasted Milanese (deep fried) but tired the Dutch raised meat
Her was right. Portion that was cooked was out of this world, but center was raw. Companions scallops were barely dinner. Wedge salad contained no bacon and micro amount of dressing. In short, good service but seemed to be scrimping on the food. I predict this place will be closing sooner rather than later.
