This was THE BEST restaurant meal I’ve had in a long time. From the salad and the wonderfully light vinaigrette to the amazing entree my tastebuds were in heaven. I had the duck entree with pasta The duck was perfection. You expect duck to be a little greasy. Not in this dish. Absolute perfection!! My friend had the fish which was accompanied by an unbelievable squash bread pudding. Yes, squash. Honestly if I had to choose the best part of the meal the bread pudding would be it! Wow! Our only disappointment, and it’s very minor, was the dessert selection. To be honest it would have been very hard to top the bread pudding as that could easily have been a dessert item :)
The dining area was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. It’s a small space but the noise level was fine. Our waitress was delightful. I’m sorry I forgot her name however I remember she is a student at WPI. Very friendly and professional. She answered all our questions and was attentive without hovering. At no time did we feel rushed.
I highly recommend making a reservation for their ‘after dark’ seating.

We have had dinner here on several occasions. The fact things are locally sourced and fresh is a big draw for us. The decor is rustic and very inviting. The first time we went for dinner was a little over a year ago. At that time, the food, drinks and service were amazing. We could not wait to go back. The last few times we went for dinner, the service was slow and other than the bucket of bacon appetizer, the food was not as good or consistent. Most recently three people in our party ordered the skate fish and thought it was not very flavorful and the texture was off. Three others in our party ordered the Farmers Beef cut and were not impressed with the preparation. There was a long wait time for the food and the drinks. As they have gained in popularity, the food and service have not been consistent.

Farmer's Daughter After Dark, with all Main Street brightly anticipating Christmas, is unparalleled in Easton. The small plates provide a great variety of tastes. The special drink mixes sound exotic, but I always return to the best sangria ever. Being the joyous season, the noise level is not as overwhelming as daytime dining.

I had been wanting to try the farmers daughter for a long time, it was worth the wait!
The restaurant was cozy and warm yet not overly crowded feeling. The food choices were good and unique and everything we ordered was amazing!
Our server as well as the bartender and hostess were all wonderful and they all laughed and chatted with each other making it seem like a great place to work.

Such a great job operating a concept like this in an area that isn't an urban setting. Real passion for food and beverage behind the operations. Decor is spot on and makes you feel like you've escaped the every day.

We went to dinner. Cocktails were delicious, service was great. The management was helpful and attentive. Our food was cooked perfectly and presented well. It was a bit loud once the restaurant filled up. Great night

Second time here with my wife. They are doing something right!! Had the Shrimp Creviche app with cooked shrimp, chopped pear, lemon juice and greens on a thin sliced baguette. Simple, but tons of flavor. My wife had a goat cheese salad with squash topped with crab cake. It was so good that she didn't need any of the yogurt dressing. I had the duck carbonara on top of homemade cavatelli noodles. It also had a citrus zing that I couldn't put my finger on. Lastly it was topped with a lightly cooked duck egg sunny side up. Spectacular! Server was on his first night but did an excellent job for day one. We'll be back!!!

Farmer’s Daughter uses fresh, organic ingredients and has a creative menu, attentive, friendly service & cozy, warm-atmosphere. I usually come away raving about the food but cassoulet choice of entree was a bit bland, all lot of beans and not enough balance of other flavors, not up to FD par. The fig & pear dessert, however, was delish. We will be back!!

Worst experience in years at TFD. Not sure what has happened over the last few years but this was by far the worst experience we have had.

Burger and chicken had strange flavors, not appetizing what so ever.

Wonderful dining experience. Wait staff could not be any friendlier and helpful with our dining decisions. Not rushed at all. Food delicious great flavor and temperature when delivered. Such a warm place. Will definitely return.

We have been to the Farmer's Daughter several times for both brunch and after dark and it has never failed to disappoint. From its charming, quaint , and cozy atmosphere to its highly inventive menu which changes regularly the Farmer's Daughter is pretty near perfect!!

The menu was pretentious describing in elaborate detail overly effete concoctions. The hamburger I ordered was overcooked and overpriced with various toppings to make up for the dry, tasteless beef, and the potato chips that were advertised in the menu as "home made" tasted as though they had come from a cellophane bag. My dining companion, who had also ordered the hamburger, concurred that it was tough and overcooked and didn't like the sauces as well, but she did eat the potato chips although she may have gobbled those to make up for the hamburger she didn't eat.

Great meal at the Farmer's Daughter to celebrate our anniversary. The food was outstanding. The roasted squash was notable. Being a vegetarian, it was disappointing there wasn't any veggie 'sausage' in the cassoulet but was replaced with something else. Only one drinker between the two of us and wine was paired very well. Definitely not cheap but to be expected.

Farmer's Table has great ambiance, and the space is lively and well decorated. The owner came by, too, which was nice. However, service was slow and the soup was not hot (we sent it back for warming). We split a soup, a salad and an entree, and had three drinks, and it came to $110 (including tip). We will give it another try sometime, but it left us disappointed.

Everything was really nice but my wife got the beef dish. It was way too tough. Out of 3 medallions of meat she could only eat 1.5. $32 for a dish it should be able to be eaten. The only offered to buy a desert for us for the trouble. They Should not have charged for the dish. Too bad, as overall everything else was perfect. Left a sour taste to the experience.

I really want to recommend this restaurant as it has been one of our favorite restaurants in the area that’s why we choose it to celebrate our anniversary. However, this past visit was really lacking. I noted on OpenTable that it was an anniversary dinner, yet this was never recognized by any staff. We were sat in the middle of restaurant which would have been fine if we would have been recognized by staff. After 10 minutes, we finally had to ask for our server. Drink orders were taken first with appetizers. Both appetizers arrived 15 minutes before we got our drinks. Although the food was good, it did not have the same pop as visits past. When ordering our entrees we were told both of our choices were no longer being offered - which would have been nice to know before hand. Again, our entrees were good but not special. We only ordered coffee to end the evening - which took close to 20 minutes to get. The manager did ask us about our evening and we said good - only because it felt too awkward to say any thing different. The server was constantly apologizing all night. I know it was a busy night but it wasn’t the evening we hoped for.

the good news: fantastic attentive, and knowledgeable staff and service, great cocktail menu (really interesting & innovative), love the concept of local sourced ingredients.... good apps, good sharing plates, not extensive list of mains....ps --- the corn pudding was AMAZING. the fig martini...WOW. what we had was very tasty...but

the not so good.....the concept of locally sourced is great - and it was a relatively new fall menu...with cool stuff on it. However, Farmers Daughter has a limited menu to begin with, and when 30% of the mains are not available because the local chicken provider didn't have quality of chicken, or the one other main dish was sold out...(and we had 7pm reservations) - it made the limited menu a lot more limited.....which was a disappointing. I eat at a number of restaurants that claim to be local sourced, etc, and when they have some dish out, they find a substitution. this was not an option at Farmers Daughter.

also would be great to see some more vegetarian options...

overall i would try again because of the service, the cocktail menu, and the menu (just hope they have food to serve! )

We waited a month to get a reservation through open table for 2 people on a Saturday night. When we arrived the hostess was ready to seat us without asking if we had a reservation so it was obvious that waiting a month for a reservation was not at all necessary. I ordered one of the specialty cocktails. The drink came with a scarce amount of alcohol in it and the glass was only 3/4 full. The waitress promised us bread which never came. We ordered our food and although it was tasty, the portions were tiny and clearly not worth the price. All in all our waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere was cozy but due to the value, we won't be returning any time soon.

I thought the food was creative & delicious! The service was very good..our waitress was most attentive and did not hover or make us feel rushed. The only negative is the noise level..it was extremely difficult for me to hear what was being said across the table. The space is small so I don't know how this problem can be resolved.

A really nice place for a good locally sourced meal, even the beer special was local. My wife had the chicken and waffles, portion was right and the chicken was great. I had the beef and oyster mushrooms. I wish they had offered or suggested a side as the beef, although good, got overwhelming quickly as it was a bit salty. I could have used a side of something neutral or sweet as a balance. Making a meal of just the beef and the mushrooms... I would have gladly paid extra if it came with a side.
There are far more options on the drink menu than on the food menu, to be expected of a local source restaurant.

We have been here twice now and each time had a great experience. The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The menu is small and changes with the seasons and availability and the servers are very knowledgeable. Great drinks, food and service. Would highly recommend.

Enjoy this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Went for dinner with my daughter. We were both underwhelmed with our meal. I had the seafood and she had the roasted chicken. My dish was lacking flavor. We were both disappointed as we have enjoyed this spot for breakfast.

Staff is amazing and attentive everyone cares and pays attention even if it isn't there "table". Chicken and waffles appetizer is amazing (dinner app and entree or lunch sandwich). They have a wide selection of local beer including a favorite allagash. For breakfast everything from the brioche French toast (very filling and tasty) to the stonehill (on a croissant) with mixed greens(one of my favorite things they offer the dressing is amazing, greens are always fresh). Coffee is very good the blueberry is fantastic without any cream or sugar. One of the only restaurants around that I truly enjoy my time at.
