The Farm House
Hands down my favorite Nashville restaurant. I love bringing friends and family from out of town to experience The Farm House. It’s also the best bourbon collection in the city. Already looking forward to my next dining experience!
Good food great service and fun place in general. Worth the try
The ambience and service were both good but the food was so so. Nothing really stood out and it felt like being a bit overcharged.
The trout and chicken were both amazing. I loved the lentils and zucchini with the trout. The Maglia Rosa is the best tasting drink I have ever had. It had the perfect amount of tartness.
Very fresh ingredients. Good options. Great to have a nice spot to have fresh food amongst the bar food options.
This is a high quality restaurant but never stuffy or arrogant. James was our waiter who is helpful and knowledgeable about menu, wines and the food. Nothing here is overdone or pretentious which is what I love about it. The food is always delicious.
Food variety, quality and atmosphere were superb. Service excellent. Serving size adequate. Would come back again.
I was not impressed with the food here. The chicken Rueben was really dry and didn’t have a lot of taste. The salad was bland and the tacos were ok. I had read good reviews so was disappointed with the meal.
The three of us had salads for lunch that were tasty & very fresh. We also ordered the biscuit/cornbread platter & they were yummy!
Incredible food, amazing service, reasonably priced. Will be back
I was so disappointed in our meal. I was very much looking forward to trying this restaurant. I read great reviews and had high expectations for this southern farm to table restaurant. The food was simply not good. We had brunch and perhaps dinner is good, but the breakfast entrees we ordered were not. I was expecting fresh, hot, high quality southern fare. The coffee was the first disappointment. It was just warm and really didn’t taste very good. We then were served deviled eggs. These literally tasted old. I suspect they were made the day before. The grits were pasty and cold, the eggs were ok but again cold, and the real shocker for this southern gal was the tiny condiment container of gravy. What??!! I expected a nice serving to put on my biscuit and eggs, but it was probably two tablespoons. However, after trying it, I realized it was more than enough. I have never tasted gravy so bad. My friend asked for some jam or jelly. She was brought something the consistency of ice cream syrup. I have to say, the biscuit was good and our server was very nice and did a fine job. Howver, I will not go back. There are to many good places to risk it again.
I have never written a review on food, as I am usually not that concerned with it, but this place was such a disappointment. Our meal was expensive at $75 for two people (brunch) and was just not good at all. Plus, it took a half hour to get our car from valet parking. Just a disappointment all the way around.
Excellent farm to table dishes.
The food was amazing. Don’t be fooled by the simple descriptions on the menu and make sure to get the pig’s ears appetizer.
As described, the food was excellent. A simple, but diverse, menu offered tasty selections. Certainly a place to visit more than once.
We liked the fact that the menu is limited and all of us were more than satisfied with our dishes. Most had some added heat (usually from harissa) that added zing to the flavor. My wife and son particularly enjoyed their entree and dessert. I ordered a dessert (southern tiramisu) that included alcohol, which I asked to have removed and replaced with some French press coffee. The waiter neglected to do so, but then did not charge us for that dessert. We would go back.
Amazing meal, easily shareable small plates with an excellent wine list. One of the best restaurants in Nashville.
Great, attentive and personable service. Our server Jason was very nice, was able to make dining suggestions. Service was timely and the food was delicious. I"m glad we found this restaurant and will definitely dine there again.
Very creative offerings and really a nice experience
First of all our Server was excellent. Food was good! The Restaurant Manager has a ridiculous you g man. We had a party of 8. This manager would not accommodate us at all. He was not accommodating when it was obviously easy. He had a thought process that wouldn’t budge . His success is very limiting because if his poor people skills. No personality. He has one way to think and that leads to a limited success of it affects the restaurant. The food was good. Not great. Our server was outstanding. He had to be because he even realized the ridiculous behavior of this manager. Too bad for the Farm House
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Interesting selection of food. Staff busy but attentive when available. All tasted great!
Great experience- the pig's ears were delicious. Ingredients are fresh, original menu and eclectic mix. Liked the small plates idea.
This has been our favorite dinner in Nashville so far! Looking forward to coming back.
Food and service was average. We were disappointed.
Excellant food, keto friendly. Nice atmosphere and outstanding service!
It was great. They were very accommodating. Food was great!!!!!
We have been to The Farm House a handful of times and each time we leave feeling just "meh" about it. I love the concept of locally sourced food and a limited, changing menu, but I just haven't loved anything I have had here (with the exception of the pimento cheese beignets - those were awesome). This last time I had the trout, and actually enjoyed the lentils under the fish more than the fish itself (which was cooked well, just lacking flavor). My husband had the flank steak, and unfortunately he had a bad cut of meat, so he only ate a couple of bites of it. The Southern 'tiramisu' was a big let down - spoiler - it's just a slice of angel food cake with some cream poured over it and sprinkles of toffee.
The service was good and the atmosphere was good, but the food is not impressive. There are far too many other restaurants in Nashville with good service and atmosphere and much better food, that I don't think we will be back again.
Everything was amazing. The service was wonderful!
DELICIOUS! Small menu, but excellent flavor and portion sizes. Started with the kale and beet salad, which was nice sized. Then, ordered the half roasted chicken..this was tender and juicy and was accompanied by carrots and potatoes. We also ordered a side of cornbread which was excellent as well, served hot and warm in a small cast iron skillet with whipped butter on the side. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Nashville area.
Food was fantastic and so so fresh! It was our anniversary and we had complimentary champagne! Service was great! Will definitely return!
It's got the trendy look and feel but the menu leaves something to be desired, food is not up to par, drinks are meh. Not worth the $$ to me.
Everything was just ok. Was hoping for a better experience.
This is only the second time here but our second visit was as good as the first. Inventive menu but not over the top. A great mix of inventive food and Southern essentials like the skillet cornbread. The beat trout I’ve had in years.
Went on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Small menu but that’s because they change it regularly based on seasonal and local offerings. I had the trout (which apparently was the only entree carried over from the previous menu) and it was wonderful. One member of our party requested an alteration to her selection and the very knowledgeable waiter suggested that it would ruin the entree and she’d be disappointed. Everyone was pleased with the entire evening.
We had a reservation for 1:15 in the afternoon we arrived 15 minutes early and they were gracious enough to seat us ahead of time. Our waiter Chad was courteous and very friendly the food came out very quickly. My husband love the tacos and I enjoyed the cheesy grits they were amazing! We were seated where we had part of a bench seating and my husband had to sit in the chair and tables were a little bit close to each other but hopefully for us people dying in each side of us were very very nice.
We loved the fresh farm to table ingredients. Everything is made in house. Appetizers and small plate, shareable options were delicious. We especially liked the pimento beignets and the cornbread.
Our reservation was ready with no wait. The server was great and answered all our questions. We were not rushed at all. The food was great.
I had the pork belly app with roasted cauliflower and it was delicious. Husband had the sous vide chicken and it melted in your mouth. We arrived at 6:00 and it seemed to fill up after we were seated. James, our server was helpful and attentive. It was a great place to eat supper before a program at the symphony.
For a special birthday dinner for my daughter we went here due to great reviews and it being farm to table. Everything was delicious and their pimento cheese beniget was amazing. Staff super friendly ...I recommend highly !!!
Charming atmosphere in an area where there are quite a bit of rowdy country music bars. Very close to popular venues. It was perfect for going to the Nashville Symphony.
I would recommend it to my friends and family.
The only surprise was that it is marked as a $$ cost and I personally feel it should be $$$.
