The Farm House
Sunday brunch was delicious!
Without question one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was outstanding.
Delicious and creative menu. Love that everything is locally sourced. Friendly and professional service. Nice atmosphere.
This was our third time to eat here and we really love it. A very limited menu but everything has tasted outstanding. We really like that they have valet parking. Husband enjoys the roasted chicken and I like the pork belly with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend!
Excellent service and very creative menu true to the farm to table theme. Unfortunately, the aged ribeye was unbearably over-salted. Everything else we had was very good. Best chicken livers we've ever had.
Limited menu but good. Three people wanted salad only for our waiter to come back and said they ran out. Disappointed. I know it’s farm to table but only one salad? Desserts were disappointing too. Nothing without milk and half of the table was lactose intolerant. Bummer. Great service though.
Wonderful experience. Super friendly wait staff. Amazing food served in just the right proportions. Could not believe that we had that delicious a meal in 45 minutes. It was an absolute delight. Loved everything!
Great food and ambiance! Food was served pretty quick, easy to follow menu and everything we had was delicious
One of our favorite spots. The food and service are predictably excellent.
Service really poor. Couldn't get basic martini made correctly. Sirloin strip entree was a joke. 3 ounces of average steak on a pile of grits. Pretty dinner drink finally arrived with entree.
My steak was precut which was not clear on the menu and also overdone. I was the only person at the bar while I was waiting for my colleague and the bartender was oblivious that I was trying to get my bar bill closed.
The food is amazing and the service is excellent! When we arrived the noice level was appropriate but as people kept coming the noise level increased. Eventually we could hardly hear each other talking unless we nearly yelling. Any chance you can incorporate some sound absorbing elements?
Very welcome addition to Nashville Food scene. Local farm to table fare. Well curated wine list. The trout was superb. Close to CMHoF museum and Ryman. Special thanks to our "Staten island" transplant server.
Grits were cold
A credit card was required to make a reservation. Our waiter was very intense and at times rude. We were waiting on one person in our party to arrive before ordering and our server kept insisting that we go ahead and order. He then proceeded to scold one of us for trying to help him by handing him some used silverware. The food was excellent, but menu options were extremely limited and even fewer healthy options
Went on a recent work trip to Nashville. It was OK but not someplace I would recommend or return. The service was friendly but they charged me for a side dish I didn't request and didn't remove it. Not a very smart way to do business. The food is nothing special and there are tons of other options in close proximity.
The food was unremarkable. The pork belly was especially unappetizing, kind of tough and with an overwhelming mustard flavor. The trout was tasteless. Our bill came with a bottle of wine on it that was not ordered or received. We asked the waiter for some directions which turned out to be totally wrong. All in all not an experience I would care to repeat.
It was a pretty unimpressive dinner- the service was fair and with exception of the pasta, the food was average. been there before and have had much better experiences.
Amazing food and great service! I've been here twice and both times have been really impressed with the food, which is all local and seasonal. The menu is small, but thoughtful. The small plates are actually quite small, but the side dishes are generous! I would definitely go back again.
Really enjoyed my first trip to Farmhouse. Had 12 oz ribeye and sweet potatoes. They were both delicious. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful restaurant. Nice lunch menu and very attentive service.
Very excellent service.
One of the best restaurant experiences in a very long time. My husband and I enjoyed The Farm House very much and will definitely eat there again.
Business and pleasure trip to Nashville. Husband’s birthday. Food and service was excellent. Not the ordinary “Southern” food menu. Farm to fork selections.
Truly farm to table! Great choices. Quick service with a knowledgeable server. I ordered the scallops which were fresh and plump but overly salted. Brussels sprouts were also over salted.
Wonderful food! Loved our experience and will definitely visit again!
Service was kind and caring and food was delicious. The Gouda grits are to die for. Share the beignets because they come in a generous portion, too big for a single person. Also the homemade cheesecake ice cream was outstanding. Noise level is very high but the ambiance is casual and chill. Highly recommended.
Food and service was excellent, portion size good.
A little off the beaten path but great service and food
Had a wonderful meal with great service. We had the house cornbread. It was southern cornbread delicious- great texture and perfect flavor. My friend had the add on 4 scallops and they were large, fresh and perfectly cooked. She had this with a decadent Mac and cheese that was gooey, creamy goodness with al dente noodles. YUM. I had the roasted chicken and vegetables. The chicken is Sous vide cooked to perfection and then roasted for a sealed skin. At first I thought it was a bit pricey for chicken, but man it was the juiciest and most flavorful chicken I’ve ever eaten.
Comfortable and quiet, good “date night” venue. Simple menu. Prime rib excellent, but felt “small plates” really small and expensive. Still enjoyed.
Go for the: Beignets stuffed with pimento cheese, with harissa sauce on the side.
No opportunity to change for food allergies. Not enough dinner options if you don’t eat pork (religious) or shellfish (allergy). These are not “preferences”, they present obstacles to dining with such a restrictive menu.
Awesome all around. We’ll plan another trip back there for sure.
What a great find in Nashville. Near to everything, but not in the thick of things. It is not often a restaurant or bar has a Rye that I have not tried, but The Farm House did! Congrats and it was delicious. Additionally the Pig Ear app was the best I have ever eaten (and I have eaten many!). All in all a perfect evening from the drinks to the entree's . I'll be back the next time I am in BNA!
The food was creative and delicious. James passion for food and great service added to our experience. Highly recommend.
Disappointing. I have loved this restaurant in the past but nothing seemed to work tonight.
Great meal and excited to have the opportunity to eat here again. Have not been to Nashville in about 3 years and knew I’d return here when I came back.
