The Farm and Fisherman Tavern- Horsham
As always, very good food and service!
Will be going back soon!
Food was delicious!! Generous portions!
Food was excellent! Staff was friendly! Great dining experience with the family.
I love this place!! I live in Northern NJ , but come out her for work and can’t wait to get to this place. The salads are amazing!
We went to celebrate an anniversary at a new-to-us restaurant, and we hope to return again. Our server was knowledgeable and steered us toward must-try menu items that we enjoyed. My beet cocktail was delicious. The pork chop special was generous and cooked to perfection. I especially liked the grilled gem lettuce alongside it; we make this at home. I hope to return to try the bloody beet salad, caramelized cauliflower and the burrata. The wine selection was also very impressive. Gooey butter cake was a delicious end to our meal. Whiskey selection was also top-notch! I was surprised to see so many (well-behaved) children, and the atmosphere isn't romantic or cozy, but the thoughtful food is a huge draw and the noise level was fine. Not crowded on this particular Saturday evening.
Food was great, as usual. Service was ok. Our order was taken, food was delivered and then server came back when we were done. No check back or refills on drinks. Not typical for this restaurant. Service is usually spot on.
Wonderful as always. Outstanding Service and the food always delicious
We enjoyed another great meal at the Farm and Fisherman Tavern. The food was done to perfection and the service was great.
Food and service were very good. Nice selection on the menu.
This restaurant was ehhh! at best. Full of hipsters. Service was slow. Drinks weren't refilled. Food was overpriced. One thing about the food was that there was no color. Everything was brown. My wife ordered a steak and it took her a few minutes of digging through a pile on the plate to discover that it was a potato. I was going to write a review about the entree I ordered, nut for the life of me, I cannot remember what I ordered. Does that tell you something?
Great service and amazing food. You must try the minestrone soup.
This place is fantastic, great food and drinks! The menu changes every season and has few staples.
Everything is very fresh. I wish they would change up the menu a little. Other than that everything was great!
Had a great dinner with friends. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely like to return.
Had it not been for Kenny, our amazing bartender, the experience would have been just so-so. He really cares about his customers. We went in for dinner and sat at the bar. When we had ordered fish and chips, the fish came out either partially done or possibly just a poor cut of fish. Kenny immediately saw the issue, got us a new dish, sent over brandy and dessert and gave us our cocktails on the house. We left thinking that Kenny made new customers that night. How little it takes to make people happy in the food business. Kenny is a gem and we hope his employer knows it! We look forward to our next meal at the bar again soon.
The food and service are always good. We enjoy the seasonal menu.
Food was good , but not remarkable. Place is ok - could use a little sprucing up. Menu is fairly limited. I would try it again.
Great meal. Our server Danielle was very nice and accommodating.
Nothing to tell love the place although the cauliflower soup, I am not sure had much cauliflower in it.
Fantastic fresh and flavorful cod...moist inside and nice grill outside. Award worthy BEST loaded potato skins ever had!!!
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were dining with a 2 year old and they were able to bring her meal out when it was ready. They even helped celebrate a birthday. Definitely a new Dino g favorite for our family.
First time I was there. Manny our waiter was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.
I had high hopes for this restaurant as I like locally sourced food. It was loud and hard to hear our dinner companions. The entrees were smaller than the sandwiches. My portion of salmon was about two square inches and it come everything else presented as a salad. I thought I was getting an entree and went home fairly hungry. My husband's special entree was scallops and he felt the same way. We seem to like smaller amounts of food as we get older, but his was too small for the price.
Excellent restaurant. Great food menu. Great drink menu. Nice portion sizes. Great service. A real keeper.
It was our second time dining at F & F, this time for dinner. Much better service and atmosphere compared to our first visit for a Sunday lunch. We requested booth and were seated at one in the back where we could be comfortable and people watch. The actual booth and table are separated and required some adjustment where we could all be happy with the distance of the table from our seat. Lots of local business dinners happening, so chatty happenings all around us. The food was excellent, served fresh and prepared to perfection. We started with the deviled eggs, cheese board, and Bavarian pretzel which were all scrumptious! The food runner took extra time to explain the cheese board selections which is always nice. Great presentation and food freshness can be expected here. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service this visit. Definitely a step up from our previous visit. Our waitress was really attentive and didn't miss a beat. The draft beer selection here is also a really good representation of local craft and if you don't find what you like on draft, they have a solid selection of local craft in a can. We were all pretty hungry and had tavern burgers which were delicious as ever and will not leave you unsatisfied. The fries are double fried.. gotta watch those.. Overall a great experience warranting another visit...
It's no surprise that our dinner would be delicious. But we were pleasantly surprised at the improvement in the deserts. They had been the one disappointment in previous visits. But that has been corrected with the hire of 2 pastry chefs. We had the apple cheesecake and it was amazing.
The food was great and not the same old stuff. The service was good and our server was pleasant. It was a little loud but not painfully so.
I visited twice in a week. The food is amazing and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food is farm to table, it’s fresh and the menu is innovative. There’s even a secret kombucha on the menu.
3rd time back - love that they can accommodate a larger party with circle tables. Food is FAB!
Salty, salty, salty. Unfortunately there was an abundance of salt on virtually everything we ordered. The mushroom toast was delicious but there was an incredible amount of salt on the mushrooms. The pork sandwich would have been good but way too much salt. We brought the other half home and my daughter also said it was way too salty. If the salt would have been cut down by 2/3 the food would have been outstanding. I’m afraid I won’t be back and I truly regret it.
Have gone many times and never disappointed.
Pleasantly surprised at how nice our whole visit was. The beers were fine ;), the food was great, and our waitress was excellent. Everyone was happy & all the ladies had leftovers to enjoy later, too!
The staff is always warm and friendly and the menu has an incredible variety of good food that never disappoints. The mushroom toast appetizer is wonderful as is the caramelized cauliflower. This place is local gem!!
Every meal we had was excellent but I have to say the mushroom toast was one of my favorite dishes from any restaurant. I'll be back just for that. The salads with falafel were another fav. I'm not always a falafel fan but this was soft and delicious.
Salmon salad was delicious! Our waiter was perfect!
Had a very good time here for a birthday. Food was very good.
The food was a disappointment. We ordered mussels which tasted so awful, and that used to be our favorite thing there. Then salmon that was so raw! Gross. It’s was a very unpleasant experience.
Our group of 6 women went for brunch right when it opened at 11:00. Our table was ready for us and there was no one else there so it was very quiet and conducive to conversation....not sure that would be the case as the time got later. Food and service were both wonderful
