I was expecting great food based on other reviews. The food was good, not exceptional. We ordered rigatoni bolognese and fish and chips.

The bolognese had an interesting flavor due to a non typical meat being used. I think the stringiness of the meat wasn't great. Had I been the chef, I would have chopped the strings in half or thirds.

The fish suffered from being too salty and soggy. That might have been due to having been plopped on top of the chips, which were not as crisp as twice cooked would suggest.

The room was very busy, however, the volume seemed as if the architecture was designed to amplify rather than absorb the sound. That would have been great if I wanted reasons to limit conversation, unfortunately for this restaurant, my date and I wanted to converse.

The bright spot was that service was very good.

Overall, this didn't meet my hopes and expectations.

We had 9 people in our party. everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. Tough to get a party of 9 to agree!! Collen, our server was excellent. We never lacked for anything.

The atmosphere is a cross between a cool center city hotspot and a cozy fisherman's wharf. The staff was friendly, funny, and made nice food suggestions. Beer is cold. Food is good. Strongly reccomend.

Enjoyed everything but had to find server to ask for butter and jelly for my toast and ketchup for my omelet and potatoes . Should’ve been given them with meal or asked if I wanted them . Also had to ask for coffee , waited 5-10 minutes after donuts were brought out and then found server to ask for that also . Was not happy about waiting and having to ask for these things .

We enjoyed the appetizers and drinks. We were very disappointed in that the menu that we
saw on-line, and which we made our reservation upon listed a Lamb Tagine with wonderful sounding herbs and spices which I and my dining partner were looking forward to order.

When we looked at the menu that we were given when we arrived at the restaurant a few hours after reading the on-line menu, we were informed by our waitress that the Lamb Tagine was
not on the menu because the menu had been changed to the spring menu. We were very
disheartened. We of course decided to stay and try a meat dish and a fish dish, as that seems
to be the strong suit of the F & F. The entrees were fine, and the vegetables interesting.

It also seems that as we were seated at the right side of the restaurant, tables and chairs,
there is another side of the restaurant which seems more like a dining room, with banquettes and a more intimate character. It would be advisable to us, this being the first visit to the restaurant, if dinner guests were given a choice on-line, of the dining room or the tavern tables.

The server/ waitress was very good and informative about the specials and what was best,
since our first choice was not on the menu.

As always, Farm and Fisherman was a success. The mushroom toast is way better than its humble name suggests. The bacon marmalade with the pretzel is to die for. And the burgers are always perfectly cooked.

I am so happy We came here. We were travelling for hours and stayed at a nearby hotel. The food was wonderful and fresh. We had the Thai chicken wings, which were deliciously sweet and spicy, and the Jersey potato skins, which were out of this world! Our dinners (fish, shrimp, blt and lamb)were all delicious and perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend trying the Farm and Fisherman

The Korean wings are very tasty. Make sure to get some extra napkins. We ordered both specials tonight. The pan fried red snapper and lamb Porchetta were both delicious. We have always had great food when dining here.

A little bit of a ride for us but been wanting to try. Food was good just a little disappointed that we had a coupon for an appetizer and they said the chef chooses...well being a fussy eater they said its usually calamari which I do like but they brought out a mushroom toast which I totally dislike. So who made out in that deal? Not sure if they will keep me from going back though. It is a bit pricey as well.

My sisters eggs Benedict were served hard boiled twice. Waiter just shrugged his shoulders

My whole wheat toast was almost inedible it was so hard

They were very flexible when our party number changed at the last minute due to illness. Beer choices were great and signature cocktails were different and love that we could take them home. Fish was fresh and paired creatively with the sides. Desserts looked delicious, but we didn't have room for them. More of a bar feeling than an intimate restaurant, but that was fine with us. Will definitely be back and will also try the happy hour at the bar because we were told there are bar only specials for food and drinks.
