About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Great for creative cocktails
  • Great for brunch
The Farehouse is located in the heart of the historic Taylors Mill’s Dock No. 3. The mill began its life as the Southern Bleachery and Piedmont Print Works during the height of the Greenville area’s reign as the Textile Capital of the World. Closing as a mill in 1965, the building found a variety of partial uses until revitalization efforts began in the mid 2000s. While many mill revitalization projects have converted mills into condos and other residential projects, the Taylors Mill is proud to be the largest grassroots project of its kind in the upstate of South Carolina. Today the Taylors Mill seeks to facilitate craft and commerce for a new generation in the heart of Taylors, SC. The Taylors Mill is reclaiming creative community.

Our menu focuses on New York style pizza, pub-style appetizers, deli sandwiches, and dinner specials using fresh, locally-sourced meat and produce.

We had a wonderful meal on Saturday June 7th. My husband and I shared the gumbo special, the burger special and a pizza. We had the peanut butter pie for dessert. We also had the drink of the week. It was a great experience and we will return. Our waitress was great too. Sorry I can't remember her name. we will book again soon.

The food was excellent and the restaurant is very nice and I like the way it’s decorated. The service was just not good. Our waitress was not very attentive at all. There was a question about the meal my wife ordered that was never answered. Then mot once did she check on us after we received our food.

The pizza is excellent! You can’t beat half-price Wednesday! This is my second visit and my first time to sit inside. The noise level was painfully high. I left with a headache. Please do something to address this issue!

Food was amazing the service could use some work. We waited 10 minutes after we got sat and my wife had to grab someone to get our order. They didn’t seem that busy or concerned about it and there were other tables waiting as well. The food came out quick which was concerning at first but it was pretty good. Overall pretty good definitely have some patience with the service

This was our first time eating at the Farehouse, but definitely not our last. I had the Grilled Salmon with couscous and my husband had the Creamy Chicken Marsala. Both of our dishes were very tasty. My Salmon could have been cooked a little less, but it was still good and the couscous was delicious. Our server was so friendly and attentive. It’s a little loud but not overwhelming. They make all their dishes from scratch and it is very evident. I do wish they had a bakery chef that made scratch-made deserts though. I highly recommend this place for quality of food, drink and service.
