Everything wonderful! One dish (Brussels sprouts) under cooked, snd woody.
Great food and service. Highly recommend.
we had a delicious meal and attentive friendly service. We'll be back.
One of the best restaurants I have been to in LA and definitely the best in DTLA. Must get the Mandilli di seta and the prosciutto!!
Came right when they opened so it was still pretty bright and quiet. Eventually it picked up, after sunset is when lights got dimmed and it felt more date-like.
great customer service. and the pizzata was amazinf
It was good food, but I felt it was
its a terrific place to have a quiet lunch or dinner with good food like the handkerchief pasta etc etc
Great food and excellent service! Would highly recommend’
Excellent food. Very good service. Corkage only $20. But it was almost painfully noisy, because not only were the floors and walls hard surfaces, and the ceilings as well, and the tables close together, but they added a loud sound track on top of the many conversations.
Quite delicious food, my spicy drink was also fantastic! It was really great food, just, in our eyes, not super special or exciting. Had to salt the arugula salad just a bit, then it was nice. Peperu and foccacina were faves, mandilli, recommended by waiter was very good too. It was FREEziNG inside. It was mid JUly - without a sweater I would have had to leave. Another diner had a straight up winter coat on. I thought seeing that might make them adjust the temp a bit but 🤷🏻♀️. Also decor/ambiance just kinda standard.
Our experience at The Factory Kitchen was exquisite. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible. We had a great date night.
The service and food are always amazing at this restaurant. From the valet to the hostess and wait staff...friendly, helpful and on it! The food is just delicious...fresh made pasta is the best I have ever had. This was my first trip back since before Covid and I enjoyed every minute of it. I will say the temporary outdoor dining area is not great, so book a table inside!
Birthday lunch for a friend
Always top notch
Food was cold
Great food and staff in a lovely space! Stopped by for my birthday and loved everything we had.
Love this place! Food is always amazing and the service is top-notch.
It was so great to be back at our favorite restaurant! Excellent food, every bit as good as pre-pandemic days, and the outdoor dining area was comfortable and well-spaced.
Great recommendations provided by our server that made our full lunch experience enjoyable. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.
Incredible food, welcoming staff, and great service. There was a sudden and rare power outage in the neighborhood and the staff handled the situation perfectly and professionally.
Robert’s service was great and the food was phenomenal, as always. Just a great experience!
This is the noisiest restaurant I have ever dined in in my 81 years of life. I turned off my hearing sids and still could hear the din. My iPhone has an audio meter app; it registered a level far in excess of the OSHA-mandated 80 dB. And to add to the noise level, they played loud rock music over the speakers. While the food and service were excellent, the noise level made for a most unpleasant and unsettling experience. I pity the dining room staff; all will suffer significant hearing loss.
We were first timers at the restaurant and really enjoyed our meal. We'll need to come back and sample more items on the menu.
Service and atmosphere were great. Food was lacking flavor. Good sized portions. It wasn't bad but it wasn't as great as we expected it to be. For the price there are better restaurants downtown to spend your money.
Sat outside which was free of the very loud music, so that was good. The food was very rich, too rich to finish. The rabbit pappardelle was very good, but even shared, too rich in butter to consume entirely. The beets were ok, not clearly differentiated from the baked cheese -- peach appetizer great. The charred brussell sprouts with speck was ok, a bit overdone for my liking and a tad too oily. In my experience, this could all be done with a bit less oil, butter, etc, to make it a tad more consumable. In my experience, having lived in Italy, there is a better balance to rich food that could improve the cuisine here. There was no chance of tasting the fine ingredients when too overdone (Brussel sprouts) or too immersed in cheese (beets). So, next time we'll order something else, or might avoid the heavier dishes...
Great place definitely recommend. Good food, good vibes, awesome location.
The best pasta I have ever had in my like - mandili de seta. The other food was ok but really that one pasta was amazing.
Food forgettable . The back converted parking lot / dining area looks like 3rd world country. Lifeless waiter . Very very pricey
Love Factory Kitchen! Understated gem of a restaurant in LA
So, considered this a Wow experience. Due to Covid, we wanted to dine outside, and the restaurant did a pretty good job of setting up a "dining patio" in the parking lot with screened scenes of Italian villages covering the fencing. I think a few potted cypress and olive trees and rosemary bushes might enhance - (that could get wheeled inside afterwards). Josh provided us with excellent service.
Decided to just go down the menu of apps and shared plates and enjoyed two most fabulous salads - the exceeding generously sized ortolana and a grilled peach salad with speck and burrata - both beyond fresh and delicious. We also were in heaven tasting the prosciutto atop this incredible crunch cloud-like bread and funghi focaccina flatbread. The finale of freshly made cannoli topped off an extremely indulgent meal.
I want to keep this place a secret because it’s so incredible. And yet, I want to shout from the rooftops that everyone needs to try it. Best pasta ever, delicate in the way that only fresh, house made pasta tastes.
When the first time we've been here, we are so impressed with our waiter he's the best i must say, he gave us the ultimate experience of a real italian resto. Since it sour first time here he told us about the history of the restaurant, foods and wine, which is helped us to pick what to eat. Its pretty sad that our waiter last night was "ok" he's not helpful at all. We asked him what he can recommend on the menu and he just stare and wait for us. Im hoping that he can atleast know what's on the menu beside the popular dish. Overall,it was good and we thank you for our experience.
Another wonderful meal at The Factory Kitchen. The handkerchief pasta in pesto is one of my favorite dishes of all time. The service and ambiance are wonderful. A great place for a romantic dinner.
Both food and service were outstanding. Hadn't been there for quite some time and plan to hurry back!
The staff were terrific, and so was the food. The space lends itself to being too close to loud people, and this was no different than other times I’ve dined here. But annoying people can’t get in the way of a great meal.
We accidentally overstayed our reservation, and I feel so bad about that. I thought we had been there for approaching two hours, but it was approaching three. I misread my watch. We inconvenienced your staff, reduced their potential income, angered the following party. Yipes.
I am very sorry.
Food (mandilli di seta is legendary and try the red wine-briased guanciole) and service are great. Gets a little noisy when full...hard to maintain a conversation across a table at times).
A most wonderful meal. The food is interesting and well prepared (and mostly in very ample portions). Even better was the service, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive (but not overly so). The room had a lively vibe but we could still easily talk to one another at the table.
The food is always excellent in my experience. The noise level is just shy of being off-putting. The service this time was cordial but somewhat tentative.
Regardless, this is a great place to share a meal in L.A.'s art district.
Everything was fabulous as usual. Food great, service great. Love coming to this place
