   I found this venue by complete accident thanks to Facebook listening to my conversations on wanting to attend a Sunday Gospel Brunch. I decided to try this place out with my family and was overwhelmingly surprised with the high level of food, service and atmosphere. I am currently making plans to bring a bigger group in 2 weeks.

   Everything went well. I can see that the waitresses were overwhelmed but they worked so hard!!! Very good job ladies!!

   Amazing experience! The staff,food,and music soothed our soul. We were made to feel welcome and loved the minute we walked through the door. The owners spent time getting to know my family as we were serenaded by the smooth sounds of jazz. A casual sophistication with Manhattan style and chill. We will most definitely be regulars.    I really hate to write poor reviews of privately owned restaurants. However, it’s apparent that the positive reviews of this place have been written by family and friends. In order to survive, they’ve got to improve the food, get a decent bartender and train their waitstaff. We had wedge salads, chicken and scallops for dinner. The salads were terrible. I couldn’t cut through my salad because I was given the core. The dressing was straight out of a bottle and the toppings were cheap. My spouse referred to the food as banquet food and likened it to the food that we used to get at the Marines Corps Ball. That’s not a compliment. Even the macaroni and cheese and au gratin potatoes were terrible. They were both flavorless and neither was creamy. It’s hard to go wrong with sides. I was very explicit when I ordered my martini and it came out completely wrong. And since there’s no dedicated bartender, I didn’t have the option to walk over and get a new one. I left it more than half full. The music was great. We need a venue like this in the suburbs. I really hope they can work on the food quality and service because we want to be regulars here.

   As a privately owned restaurant, we have to work twice as hard to ensure our product and service is impeccable. Is it always perfect, No! Nonetheless, we appreciate those guest who provide sincere feedback as a measure for us to improve our service. I also assure you that every review written has been completed by customers who dined just like you, some good, some with opportunities.    A fun and diverse crowd and the music was a great addition to the meal. I recommend the alligator tail appetizer, unique and well prepared.

    The ambiamce made the evening! Relaxing, good music (Lissette), a nice escape...a hidden gem! My wife and I look forward to a return visit.
