Amazing! I love Israeli/Med food and this place hit the spot. I was with my friend at an art exhibit and we came here afterwards. The drink menu is fun and new and the food is spot on. I would recommend this to anyone heading downtown. We will be back!!

Unique, well thought-out menu executed very well. Service is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and reasonable. Lobby bar and lively rooftop bar and great add-on attractions.

Exchange has interesting decor. Our server was very friendly. I appreciative that he provided what seemed like great recommendations. However, we still ordered some things that he didn't mention. Do not order the Arabic salad, all you get is a small bowl of tomatoes and cucumber. Our appetizers arrived quickly. Our entrees did not. It took an hour or so for them to reach our table. Our server may have come by to mention he was thankful for waiting, however, he did not try to tell us why there was a delay. Food is pricey for what it is.

What a wonderful dinner before a concert. The service was friendly and knowledgable. Their recommendations were perfect for our evening. We had the crab fried rice and the branzino which was superb...We ordered a second round of the avocado salad because we just couldn't get enough of it. Overall, I will definitely be back to try the other dishes...This restaurant gives foodies a wonderful ethnic fusion combination not to be missed.

We went to The Exchange restaurant before a concert at Colburn, downtown. The ambiance of the restaurant was colorful and warm. Servers were very friendly and helpful in choosing from the creative cocktail list and food choices. Overall, the food was very good- especially lamb kebabs, yellowtail collar and charred beets. The pita bread was freshly made and delicious. However, there were too many different spices and ingredients used together and deterred from the overall taste. For example, the charred beets were so delicious, but added boysenberries seemed unnecessary and did not add to the dish. Also the hummus was on the very oily side and too many other ingredients in babaganoush made it less appealing. Similarly with the cocktails, there were too many flavors from herbs and liquor. A little less would make this restaurant perfect. Overall, we still had very enjoyable experience.

Interesting funky styled interior with as little adult contemporary pop on... great wait staff to get you the right food... and a menu full of tasty Mediterranean tid bits, platters. and cocktails. Not big portions, but excellent presentation and filling flavorful food. I wasn't expecting Harissa with my citrus salad, but it was excellent.

Delicious, interesting food. A good place to bring vegetarian friends, but also great for meat-eaters. It's not cheap, but worth it. Also, I never like virgin cocktails, so I was pleasantly surprised by the tastiness of the non-alcoholic drinks.

The salatims were tasty, but outrageously overpriced. The portion is ridiculously small as they are meant to be shared plates. Not to mention that the restaurant only offers one pita bread for three people.

The lamb kebab dish was delightful—a burst of flavors from the yogurt, the herbs, and the spice. Would definitely recommend this dish.

Overall, the price-to-value ratio is relatively low for this restaurant.

We had the hummus and salads. Hummus was amazing! Came with home-made pita bread. I had the Little Gem salad with chicken, which was so flavorful. This was my first time at this restaurant, but will definitely return.

The Exchange is one of the best and most underrated restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area. Their food is some of the best around - inventive, creative, and completely delicious. Complex and unique dishes are fun to eat and easy to share with a big party. The service was impeccable. Our waiter took the stress out of ordering for a big party and just brought us dishes on his recommendation.

Great spot to take out-of-towners, dates, family, etc. for many different occasions. The rooftop bar on the top of the hotel is also a major plus for after-dinner drinks.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the food and drinks are always delicious. Don't miss the hummus--it's to die for--and the interesting spreads (harissa and...?) on the table. The warm salmon salad has become my go-to. The flavors are super interesting and it's just the right size for lunch (after the hummus, of course)!

My dish, warm salmon salad, was extremely salty and over seasoned. I could not eat it. My clients also thought the same of their meal. Of the five people in our lunch party, nobody enjoyed the dish they ordered.

Food was great but that was it. The front dest lady was rude and we're seated 20 mins later than our reservation time. Also there's TWO hours rule, which I didn't know, you need to finish your meal in TWO HOURS from your reservation time.
Food portion size is ridiculously small. I think this place is definitely over-rated.

The food is really good. It’s the latest trend— israeli — but some has a latin twist. The hummous is so smooth it’s addictive. The crowd is super lively and the waiters and servers couldn’t be nicer or more helpful.

Delicious, fresh, robust flavors! Absolutely loved all the side dishes we ordered. The fish of the day tasted very fishy and although deboned, still got several bones (not sure anything that can be done about that, so I understand). Overall, excellent food and beautiful restaurant.
