Great service. Wonderful. And drinks.

Loved the experience and the service was outstanding. Our server was jada and she was AMAZING! You could tell how much work ethic she has and how she cares about doing her job to it’s full potential. Our drinks were never empty, we were checked on an appropriate amount of times AND she can carry three plates! I was really impressed with jada and will be requesting her from now on.

This is our second visit and wS just impressed the second time around.

As always everything was great. My husbands food was cold, but they corrected it and brought out a new plate.

The Exchange is always a great place to go for the ambiance, great drinks and good service. The food is usually pretty good even though I find the menu a bit limited. However, last night my friend's Mahi Mahi was undercooked and the rest of the party's food was luke warm at best. The manager was VERY proactive and took the mahi off the bill (after replacing it) and also comped our appetizer before we even ordered our meal just because they were a little slow getting it out. (we hadn't even noticed because we were busy talking) I will definitely be back, as this is one of our go to restaurants and I know what a difficult time the service industry is going through right now. Overall, was still a good experience as always.

The only complaint I have is that we had to keep our coats on the entire time due to it being so cold and we could feel the cold air every time someone came through the front door of the restaurant.

I was our first time visiting and it not be our last. It was the the food is so good and the service was just as good.

We are regulars at The Exchange and rarely ever have a complaint. The food is always outstanding, the drinks are great and the live music is always a nice bonus. This trip could have gone better. The food, drinks and music were all outstanding as usual. We had the steak frites and a surf and turf special. Both were excellent, as were the drinks. The live music was also outstanding, it was a great mix of old and new songs and the singer had a really beautiful voice.

Our service was a bit lacking. My husband went to the bar for his own drink refills since it had been over 20 minutes after getting our food before we were ever checked on. We didn’t have silverware and had to trouble another waitress to bring some just to begin eating. It wasn’t overly busy since it was 10:00 and there seemed to be plenty of staff for the number of guests. Just had a little bad luck this time around. We will be back, it is a favorite of ours. Will hope for a bit better service next time.

Amazing food and drinks. Wonderful service as always. I loved the New Year’s Eve Surf and Turf special. The orange cake was delicious as well- I hope it becomes a regular item!

Great place to go. Great food,beverages and service. Only suggestion might be to add a few new things to the menu but I go there very often.

Great food and service!

Steak good although asked for very rare. Still as a little over cooked. The pork chop and the gnocchi that my friends had look good and they stated that it was good. A few more wine choices would be great. My friends had the banana Foster's bread pudding and some other kind of monkey bread type stuff, both of which were disgusting.

As always, The Exchange had top notch service and the food was delicious!

This was our second visit to The Exchange. My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our first dinner there, and were not disappointed upon our return. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The Exchange is surely to become one of our favorite dining destinations in New Albany!

First time here and it was fantastic. The Goat cheese fritters were a perfect starter to share. The Short Rib Gnocchi
the Exchange Burger and Brussel sprouts were all delicious. Service was also top notch! Perfect place for a special night out.

We booked our dinner on Open Table noting it was a birthday celebration as we have enjoyed the restaurant menu many times before. No one mentioned our reason for joining them that evening for dinner. The food as always was outstanding, however our waiter arrived after we were seated for a while smelling of smoke and seemed disengaged in working. We asked about the local beer and he said “they are right behind you”… additionally he brought to females at our table their beers in cans without a glass or asking if they needed one. WHAT????
He really checked on us and was brief and just appeared to be putting his time in for his shift. We have not ever had this experience at the restaurant. The food from the appetizer to dinner was outstanding. I hate to have the evening to remembered but poor serve.

Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. The menu choices were varied and tempting! The food & service were excellent. Our out-of-town guests were very impressed. We'll definitely be returning for another delicious dining experience.

There was no soap, soap dispenser, or antibacterial lotion in Women’s restroom. How do the staff wash hands after using bathroom? Yuck

Food was cold and not worth the money

We had a wonderful evening. There was live entertainment. The beer was amazing! We had a pretzel with beer cheese appetizer. Both of our meals were amazing as well. We will be going back soon.

Very good , quick service, nice atmosphere. The food was good but not something I am dying to go try again. Best item we got was the pretzel baguette for an appetizer. Again food was good but for price I think I was expecting more in taste.

This is by far my favorite place to eat and go hang out with friends and family. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the service is amazing!

Great food - the tequila lime mussels were dynamite!

Appetizer of pretzel bread and salads were good. The NY strip steak was not good at all. Basically get a steak, and brown it, no flavor and tough. The redfish was great and mashed potatoes were good, but the broccoli was old tasting. We would go back but not get a steak.

This place has the best cocktails in New Albany. The goat cheese fritters are a must have. They are amazing. The yakisoba was also delicious. It’s pricey, but in my opinion it’s worth it.

It was ok-nothing special. Have been here several times and seems like not as good as used to be. I understand the difficulties with Covid and lack of staff. Our server did a good job of taking care of us. Both of us ordered the burger & fries and we got a side of the Brussel sprouts. I don’t normally like Brussel sprouts, but these were very good!
Both burgers were ordered med, but they were between med well & well done. But, my biggest issue is the fries were definitely not fresh cut. If a restaurant wants to be considered high end/quality, they need to take the time for fresh cut fries. They have got to be more economical than frozen & they would compliment the 17 burger much better. Maybe that is one of the way they are cutting corners.
