   Aaron was an amazing server. He steered me away from my usual Sazarac to a new and improved version that was PERFECT. Our dog was welcomed and he had the best chicken nuggets he’s ever eaten and can’t wait to go back:) The patio setting was awesome and the blues player won my husbands heart. My only “complaint” was that the only dessert w any chocolate was a tiramisu. Could I recommend a flourless ganache cake?

    The Exchange is located in a beautifully restored old building and has great ambiance. We went on Mother's Day and Sam gave us excellent service, even during their busiest day of the year! The food was outstanding-- the goat cheese fritters are amazing and the Nashville tacos are delicious. And they make a REALLY good Old Fashioned cocktail.

    Mother’s Day dinner for two. Both of us had the Wagyu steak dinner. Not what Wagyu should taste like, and not tender at all. Potatoes Fondant were so hard you had to cut them with a knife. Mac & Cheese was served cold. Service was great as was the Peaches and Cream Cheesecake dessert. $148.00 with tip was a little steep given the quality of food.

    Enjoyed sitting outside on the lovey covered patio. Service was excellent and the salad I ordered with chicken was delicious. Friends dining with me enjoyed the classic hamburgers and fries. Also ordered the delicious pretzel bread and cheese board. Washed it all down with my favorite cocktail, Salt of the Earth.

    My wife and I were celebrating our 30th Anniversary. Our waitress Amy was awesome. She visited our table on several occasions to make sure we had everything we needed. She was helpful with her recommendations and appeared to really enjoy her job. We will definitely return.

    Our waiter was absolutely amazing! Drinks were great! But the food was lacking. The ribs on the appetizer menu were very tough, flavor 10/10. Steak freit- fries were great but the steak said it was supposed to be a tenderloin and I’ve never seen a tenderloin look the way this came out. Was tender, but not the expectation. Salmon was cooked “medium” and generally that’s okay, there were parts that were too raw for my liking, basil risotto was great! Spoon bread was not as I’ve had before but it was decent. For almost $200 I would not come back again unless it was for drinks only.

    Sitting at the bar, bartender took my order for a beer and then started making drinks coming in from the wait staff. After 3-4 minutes of this I checked my watch and then she took the ten seconds to pour the beer. Really irritating, she should have done that as soon as I ordered. Ordered ribs, which were okay and very messy, but when I asked for some wet-naps they didn’t have any so I was offered paper napkins watered down. The place has potential but it feels like they have poor training or management. A woman 2 seats down ate half her burger and then went to use the restroom. The bartender told her she would guard the plate with her life. She promptly went off to talk with fellow employees and a busboy came by and took the plate, I guess. I missed it but when she got back she asked where it went and they told her a new employee made a mistake.

    Had the poutine with spare rib and the Nax Sandwich basically a philly cheese stake with a side of asparagus and mushrooms. All tasted great especially the asparagus and mushrooms. The asparagus was cooked perfectly very tender.

    Pluses: Food was tasty! Service was prompt - and regular with checking in on us. Place has a cool vibe/atmosphere too. All good aspects. Questioned: Parking lot very tight to park/drive in, but close. The waiting staff was numerous. We had a member in training with them, and we had food brought by a few different persons, including one with a second desert (after we'd started ours ... a mix-up?). Main course meals had the meats as an added element/cost (and at $10 to $12 each!)? Can improve: I'd requested in the reservation (as it was a special occasion) for candle on desert (or similar) - that aspect was either forgotten or missed. Also, we were seated in tall-back booth (had no individual chairs). In reservation follow-up call we had from restaurant - I had stated need for support back seating (having severe back injury recovery).

    From the time we entered the restaurant we were immediately seated. The server brought us water to our table immediately and then took our drink order. We ordered an appetizer bread and beer cheese. It came out quickly and was really good.. We both ordered steak. It came out in a reasonable amount of time and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The atmosphere at the exchange is always pleasant, and we enjoy our time on date night dining here every time we come.
