Very nice meal before a show. My group of 4 all enjoyed the food and the service. We sat in the atrium which has a wonderful atmosphere. Good drinks and a decent wine list. The food menu is not very large however it does include a wide range of options.

The Salad was delicious and perfectly prepared, albeit a bit expensive, particularly for the size. Not a fan of the cappuccino. Service was good, ambiance beautiful!!

We had a nice quiet lunch here that was in the most beautiful setting. I was shocked at how delicious the grilled cheese was. The bacon on the Cobb salad was next level. This made for a memorable visit.

Nice spot for drinks and dinner before the symphony. Atrium was noisy, esp. because we were seated right next to the speaker on the west side. Happy hour drinks were well priced. Marinated olives were delicious. Should have paired w/the Parker House rolls to sop up all that great garlic olive oil. Tomato soup was smokey yet bright with fresh basil. Wish there were more small plates on the menu. Kitchen is too heavy handed with cheese. Royale Cheeseburger was excellent flavor-wise but it was overwhelmed by a slab of gruyere. Endive salad was a miss w/so much blue cheese that you would never know there were also anchovies. Server was sweet but inattentive, missed the chance to sell us another round of drinks, had no menu suggestions, didn't notice that we waited forever for our dinner plates, didn't circle around to see if we needed anything, had to be reminded to bring our check so we could get to the show.

we ordered mostly appetizers! it was delicious the atrium is beautiful and so historical. our waitress explained to us the history of how it was offices for the train system built in 1902. we will for sure be coming back!

We went to the restaurant prior to an event at the Auditorium theater. We explained to the staff that we had theatre tickets and needed to leave in a timely fashion. We ordered a salad and a cheeseburger. We ended up getting our cocktails and not much else. Service was lacking and we never got our main course. Very disappointed

The food is adequate, not a big menu but our salads with chicken were tasty. The chicken sandwich however was tough and dry. The ambience is good for conversation at lunch time. The service was very disappointing. first the margaritas (ordered with salt) come with a tear drop of salt down the side of the glass, while artistic it is not functional, they re made them without hesitation. The iced tea tasted like a blend of coffee and tea and it took 3 requests to get sweetener and never any lemon. Finally we order coffee (1 decaf and 1 regular) the waitress brings 2 regular and says they don’t have decaf (I think they just didn’t want to make a fresh pot as it was mid afternoon and there were few people in the restaurant. Again had to request cream.

I was rushed, so didn't enjoy as fully as I might have. Would have liked sitting in the atrium area much more as a) prettier, and b) music level *much too loud* in first room (and I wasn't even close to the bar/speakers). Soup was too salty and salad was too peppery (wish I'd been asked, before being served with tons of pepper already on it!). The salmon was delicious. Service was so-so. At one point my server asked if I'd received my soup yet!! Why didn't he know?? But later, he and another waitstaff person were attentive to my needs.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The venue is beautiful, great for large and small parties. And we enjoyed the jazz piano in the background. I will be recommending The Exchange to my friends.

I believe that it is entirely likely that I got food poisioning from my meal It was the Amish chicken. Perhaps the mushrooms served with it. The chicken is the only item that my wife did not sample She did not get sick. That one outcome overshadows anything I might possibly comment on.

Spending $16 for a salad that consisted of chopped romaine, a small amount of crumbled blue cheese, and some candied pecans is unacceptable. I don't remember there even being a dressing. I'm glad I added steak, but the meal was not worth $32.

Most of you know that I write realistic, constructive and positive reviews and believe in second chances. The Exchange will NEVER get my signature second chance! Chef Hutson and Boulangère Pontaerille would vomir if any of The Exchange administrators had shared our sincere and unfortunately validated feedback of our recent experiences. From being greeted by front of house staff so engrossed in their own dialogue that, even after smilingly excused our interruption several times, being told that I/we could not possibly have reservations- we were dressed and presented ourselves appropriately. To being served someone else's coffee and after a period the coffee was picked up and placed in front of another diner! To a back of the house staff smoking in the line area from the kitchen!!! Then the service was so chaotic and virtually non-existiant as the wait staff were engaged in pleasantries with each other as not even to get the attention of any.
