Amazing Sunday Roast dinner , Best ever had .
Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch and amazing, must have cocktails! The theatre around the cocktails was v impressive! Would recommend!
Service was friendly and the food was nice enough. But nothing really stood out about it, we felt the meal was quite expensive for what it was. The options were limited but that in itself was not an issue, but there was only 1 potato option of chips, which didn’t go with the lamb that we had. It feels like this could be a really lovely place but there are some tweaks needed.
Fantastic food and stunning cocktails at a great price. What an absolute find this place is. I just wish we lived closer. If you are in Eton or Windsor, this place is a must.
Food was great and staff were friendly. Chicken supreme was particularly good.
The place has nice decor, great location and the staff is very nice. Happy with the cocktails. The food is not up to scratch, quality of ingredients is acceptable, menu is basic, presentation is basic if not poor, the dishes did not look at all like the photos. I had high expectation and was sadly disappointed.
The cocktails and food were good but service is poor. We waited for ages for to get our food and drinks.
Lovely food, charming and attentive staff but simply not enough of them to provide anything without a long wait. We would like to have been seated in the restaurant but had to be squeezed in to the bar area due to overbooking.
Lovely food and service!
A delightful little gem! The staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food is terrific. Between us, my husband and I had the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato Salad and King Scallops as starters, followed by Miso Cod and Chicken as our mains along with Wild Mushrooms and Chips as sides. Everything was excellent (save for the slightly underripe tomatoes - understandably fair for October). This was too much food for us, but I enjoyed all of it! They have a comprehensive and novel cocktail selection that I will try next time.
Friendly approachable staff. Exceptional food and service. We found the decor a little dark but that's purely individual taste. We will definitely go back.
Very nicely decorated and staff though some obviously new were very attentive and friendly. We were given an appetiser of falafel with a chutney, gorgeous, I had the cod which was ok but not sure the miso worked or it was too much. Friends chicken was nice.
A nice venue. i
Fantastic food, very tasty, love the Duck Balls and candy floss tree! Definitely be back very soon! Thank you for a wonderful evening
Had a really lovely evening. Service was amazing. We were even given some complementary dishes which were a nice surprise. Brilliant cocktails. Highly recommend
Lovely restaurant and bar, excellent location if you’re visiting Windsor. We stayed just near the castle so booked Eton Mess for brunch as a stroll away from our hotel. Service was excellent, staff very friendly & our brunch was delicious. We also had the cocktails from an extensive list - fresh & tasty! Highly recommended.
Lovely setting, great service and clever chef and cocktail waiter gave additional touches and attention to detail that made all the difference. Not cheap but worth it!
The Eton Mess provided the best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time! The manager was accommodating, managed to find a place where we could keep our bikes safe as we had forgotten our locks. The staff took good care of us and we’re so attentive and friendly.
The food was fantastic! So delicious and well presented, we were even served an amazing starter for free - I cannot wait to return! The drinks were also amazing, really unique list of cocktails.
A super place to eat. Very friendly staff. The food was excellent although their special burger is so large that I could not finish the side order! That’s not a complaint by the way. A lovely setting, nice decor and a fine place for a meal and/or drinks
Very good quality food, nicely presented and the service was excellent. We had a most enjoyable dining experience and would be very happy to recommend this restaurant.
Highly recommend the cocktails and the service is friendly but not intrusive.
Had a table booked for 19:30, we arrived on time. We were taken out to the back area. The bar area looked nice but as it was hot we wanted to go outside. Outside there were 2 other tables already being served.
The waiter sat us down saying he would be right back to get our orders. Around 10 minutes later another table was seated outside and the waiter took their drinks order immediately, while still not taking ours. Having looked through the menu (which was very limited and overpriced for what it is) we had decided what we wanted.
At 8 o'clock the other table had there drinks and one of the other tables had ordered there dessert.
Trying to catch the waiters eye, who just rushed past us each time, we eventually got our drinks order.
At this point we had decided against eating here due to the bad service so I went over the road to Gilbey's who were able to take us in at 20:30. After drinking our drink we paid the bill (for 2 cokes, that they had the audacity to add a 12.5% tip onto) we left.
I don't have a problem with delays in service but when we were one of 6 tables in the entire bar, I find this terrible service and don't recommend it to anyone.
The lady that finally greeted us made us feel like we were interrupting her!
We were shown to out table which was "outside" the outside is a very small covered courtyard with very uncomfortable seating. I asked if there were some cushions, the server did not seem to understand me, I asked again, as a skirt and slatted plastic seating would be uncomfortable, I was met with a "no"
We ordered our drinks, I sent mine back as it was the most bitter mojito I have ever tasted. The barman seemed shocked that I wanted it to have sugar, like any normal mojito has? The 3 other cocktails were VERY small and in all our opinions not very tasty. If you want to see some pretty cocktails but that taste mediocre then visit this place. I wont be returning
Very attentive staff!
Greatest cocktails in Windsor and Eton well worth a visit and Jordan the waitress was amazing
Great for a pretheatre meal when visiting Theatre Windsor some cocktails not available food well presented and good and service good
Amazing cocktails and so quirky, my niece had a cocktail in a small bath tub! Food was delicious, we went for the platters which suited us as a group of 5. Would go back again soon
Very nice atmosphere and service. Food options were limited and service on the slower side although generally good and polite.
Superb food and great cocktails. A gem of a place
It has really changed in Eton mess since our last visit . The teal interior is really lovely and comfortable too with good lighting. Starters were particularly delicious and good presentation. Certainly not ridiculously small portions. Much more interesting food than was offer on our last visit which is great for windsor and Eton as so many restaurants are mediocre. If I could criticise anything I would say that there could be a slightly more comprehensive wine list with more choice. Overall a lovely evening.
Excellent service, attentive welcoming and polite staff. Cocktails are top notch. Taste good with creative twists for each cocktail. Worth a visit. Good music.
Took 25 mins to get a drink. Expresso Martini had no coffee in it just a liquor. Ordered a pink gin and they got that order wrong as well! Absolutely no atmosphere/ ambience- very disappointed snd won’t be back
This is a good place to catch up with friends. Food and drinks are versatile and there is something for everyone. Pricing is reasonable.
Avoid at all costs. 25minutes to get a drink, cocktails are average, ambiance is sterile (surgical spotlights) and above all else, the service is shocking with no guarantee you’ll get what you asked for. It’s just stressful and not worth the time of day.
nice looking restaurant with a friendly ambience however we were hurried throughout our meal and they had run out of many of items we had ordered.
Nice venue and great sheltered garden.
Venue inside looks really nice too.
We had the bottomless brunch for my friends 40th birthday. The outside space was fantastic - great coverage, heaters and decor. The food was yummy and the service was really good with such lovely staff. Looking forward to visiting again soon
I have no words for what they dared to serve us today. It was the worst food we've ever been served at any restaurant in the UK
Hi Thank you for your review and apologies as we clearly did not live up to you expectations. We take feedback extremely seriously and would welcome an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to help investigate and rectify. I hope you will help and get in contact with us. Thank you in advance.
The staff went the extra mile, made a special gesture for a 21st birthday which was really lovely.
Cocktails delicious. Loved the outdoor heaters, made sitting outside really comfortable.
We had the table booked for 2 hr but at no time were we told we had to be off the premises by 7pm
Last orders called at 6.10 and no member off staff seemed to know what was going on. We were told different stories by each member off staff
