   We went last Saturday for dinner. The restaurant was a little difficult to find since we were not familiar with Colony Square and expected to see the full name of the restaurant on the building. The food was very flavorful, and the wine selection was good. The noise level was almost deafening since it was a Saturday evening. Loved the decor. Anneka was very pleasant and helpful on the menu selections.

   1. Appetizers arrived and we didn’t have any water yet on the table. I expect bar drinks to take a few, but water should be available soon after being seated. 2. Slow to non existent service. 3. Received a salad with an item I’d asked to be omitted. No a big deal, as they offered to bring a new one. Second salad came after the rest of our party was already finished with dinner and arrived with grilled shrimp that looked like shoe leather. 4. On the plus side, both apps and the three other meals at the table were very good. Basically, good food but slow, poor service.

   We had reservations at 7:00 for two. When we checked in we were brought outside on the patio. We asked if we could sit inside because it was really cold. There was only one heater on. We were told no because larger parties get to sit inside. We sat in the cold for 15 minutes before someone came to the table. The food was good, but hard to enjoy because I was so cold. As we ate we saw other parties of two being seated inside. We will never come here again when it is cold outside.

   Took awhile to actually find it because it is tucked away. Once in me and my date were freezing the whole time. Made the waiter aware that it was beyond uncomfortable and I even pointed out that 80% of the diners had on their jackets and coats. Never really got a chance to enjoy our meal. We left early.

    The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful. EST is a great place to hang out and dine on the weekend, especially if you get outdoor seating. The appetizers are all excellent. The wings and brussels sprouts are very memorable - so delicious. I didn't love my entree - the chicken was bland. When I go back, I will do all appetizers and drinks. I would definitely return.

    Our server was very nice, but very slow. Brussel sprouts were great. The rest of the food we ordered was subpar and under seasoned. The drinks were great.

    Great place to have a business meeting - professional, light, great big outdoor area. Food is great! A good amount too so you can have leftovers. Pimento cheese app and truffle mushroom risotto 🤌👌👏to perfection! Go there for a date, hangout, or business meals.

    Flooding issue in Kitchen.. the waiter was very nonchalant about it and didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience… we went to Saints and Council and received free drinks after explaining the disappointment of our previous reservation. I do love Establishment and typically situations would be handled much better.

    Our service was good but the kitchen was having an off night. We were told 3 times our food was being plated and it finally arrived several minutes after the 3rd notice. Overall took over 3 hours for a party of 4.

    Some of the confederate decor was offensive and not considerate to all potential guests. I booked a table of 8 friends before the show and was embarrassed when my friends felt uncomfortable by some of the decor. Midtown is an inclusive place and the decor didn’t reflect that sentiment. The service and the food was terrific but the decor will cause me not to return.

    Had a great time getting an early dinner here before a show at the Alliance Theater. Very convenient, open space. Also across the street from the SCAD theater which I like. Indoor and outdoor seating. They had live music, but not obnoxiously loud... sort of the perfect ambiance. Highly recommend this place for getting to know each other meet ups.

    We reserved a table at The Establishment before a concert at Symphony Hall just across the street. We arrived on time, and our waitress stopped by our table within 2 minutes of our being seated. We told her we were in a hurry, since we had a show to catch. (We actually had 1.5 hours, but I refuse to be late for a concert!). She immediately took our order, noting that she'd make sure we were served quickly. Our appetizer did come out pretty quickly, but that was the end of the quick service. It was 50 minutes in before our entrees arrived (a burger and short ribs), and that was only after I finally caught the waitress's attention and asked for her to please check on our food. My drink from the bar also took about 20 minutes after I ordered it. I had a soft drink with my meal that I had to ask several times before finally getting a refill. The manager did apologize for the slow service and offered a free dessert. This was a kind gesture, but we had to rush through eating that as well to be on time for our concert. The food really was quite good... I'll give them that. I wish I just didn't have to scarf it all down. The decorations, etc., are really nice, but all the hard wood surfaces make for a very loud restaurant. It has the look of a romantic restaurant, but it's anything but... with all the loud noise. They added TVs throughout, so you have to put up with people yelling at the game on TV. Despite the good food, it was an overall bad experience... one that I don't care to repeat.

    A wonderful place for a girlfriends night out. We had a nice table; great atmosphere. My Old Fashioned was perfect! The food was wonderful. All of us had a great time.

    An attempt was made to order a medium rare burger with lettuce tomato onion and pickles...they didn't have any tomato and wouldn't cook it medium rare, only medium well. They have nearly a page of beer on the menu...tried to order a simple pilsner, no dice, so I took the waitress suggestion on the closest thing they had...it was so "fruity" I had to send it back. Slow service. Took over 1 1/2 hours for dinner. Ordered dessert and told the waitress we were then in a hurry because we had concert tickets at 8:00. She finally did deliver dessert and the check but didn't return to pick the check up...took it to the bar where I was told they couldn't accept payment and had to find the waitress. She finally came rushing over with a pen that didn't work! We ran to our concert (and made it) but will never return to that restaurant!!!
