The ambiance and the restaurant was beautiful. The food, was subpar. My chicken was very bland and cold, and my vegetables (the 3 pieces) were burnt to a crisp. My husbands burger was SO greasy, it was pretty much inedible. The bun was covered in so much butter that it was disgusting. We shared a bottle of wine and I find it odd that it was hidden from us, to the point where I was sitting waiting for our waitress to pour my wine for over 10 minutes, each time my glass was empty. Needless to say, it was a waste of money and we will not be back.
Great restaurant in the heart of Savannah! Great food and drinks and excellent service!
Great meal but very noisy. Background music playing loudly, and people trying to talk over it in one big open space. Hard to hear across the table.
Food is delicious. Great atmosphere and excellent service.
Excellent food and customer service!
Our server dropped a tray full of drinks on the way to our table, but she handled the whole situation like a pro! She was very professional and courteous, and was able to smile and laugh with us afterward!
The food was great and the music was a great touch!
My husband and I went to brunch at The Emporium on a whim. We didn't know what we wanted to eat, and I looked up restaurants in the area. We decided on The Emporium, and I am so happy we did. I will definitely be back to this restaurant, and highly recommend it to others. Great menu, food was outstanding! Service was awesome!
Great varied menu served in a lively, upscale setting. My whole grilled snapper was a little undercooked but not inedible. Other fish special (grouper) was great and sides were very good. Service was perfect and she extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu and most wine choices.
A fun experience. A must to go to the rooftop for a drink. The food is very good and very creative. The wait staff could not have been better and attention was made to every detail.
As we are older -the noise level is very loud making it difficult to have a conversation and I would not go with more than 2 other people because of this.
We will definitely go back as it is a fun place
Amazing food! The Bouillabaisse was outstanding. Will visit again!
Menu items had changed but chef accommodated use well, lovely Anniversary dessert was provided
You can’t miss with a Hunter Cattle hamburger for lunch (plus a load of crispy fries). Good to be here when you can actually hear your own and companion’s words.
We had a lovely brunch on a Sunday before attending The Piano Men at the Historic Savannah Theatre across the street. It's also right across the street from the Square where Forrest Gump's bench is located.
The waitress was extremely accommodating. She let us split a wonderful seafood omelette and light, fluffy blueberry pancakes that my friends raved over.
Excellent service, very good food, a little overpriced.
The beet salad and truffle fries were delicious. Their house cab is great! The service left much to be desired.
Very friendly staff and cool place. We dined on a Sunday, the special of the day is fried chicken, awesome. Bring your appetite.
Fabulous! Exactly what I was looking for on my 2nd visit to Savanah within 72 hours! I wish we would have stayed at the Perry Lane Hotel as well. This will be our destination on our next trip. The food was fresh, creative and well priced. Service was great and the atmosphere was inviting.
Had dinner here based on reviews on OT and elsewhere. Very much enjoyed the drinks, appetizers (grilled octopus and bread basket were wonderful). Salad of salanova lettuce with ham, blue cheese and pickled red onion was delicious and large enough to share. The fish du jour (salmon on bed of lentils) and whole fish were excellent although quite pricey for the latter especially since I had to ply my fileting skills to debone the branzino. It had a wonderful taste, especially with the stuffed herbs.
Hans, our waiter, was attentive, pleasant and had the most wonderful smile. Very professional in his demeanor.
If I eat here again, I think just the salad and a few appetizers, perhaps one of their sides and a glass of wine will suffice especially given the size of the salad (and the cost of the entres)...and perhaps an espresso or cappucino.
BTW, there is valet parking with the hotel in which the restaurant is located. That fact is not readily apparent and frankly, it's rather expensive by Savannah standards. I would think the restaurant would comp at least the first 60-90 minutes for patrons.
Excellent and would definitely come again. Our server Hans was very attentive.
The food is DELICIOUS and the music is great but a little too loud to also have any amount of conversation while it’s going on.
Had brunch on Sunday , arrived a bit early and were seated promptly .
Selection was great for vegetarians, service was excellent.
Fun selection of cocktails and we even had mimosas to go at the end of our brunch .
First visit to Savannah in years , plan on returning to both Savannah and the emporium !
Great food and service. A bit pricey! Super cute restaurant.
Pleasant server, interesting menu and loved the wine selection. The sommelier was awesome!
Good service and food. Waitress was friendly and helpful. They had several gluten free options and a couple of dairy free options. Good atmosphere.
The breakfast menu was very good....southern foods but also the everyday breakfasts with nice aesthetic presentation! Definitely a return trip!
What a fab place to eat. The food was tremendous and the service superb, we will be back.
My husband, daughter and I arrived towards the end of lunch, so we were practically the only guests, other than two other tables. Timing surrounding our arrival totally worked since our daughter is a little over two months old and a sudden meltdown wouldn't bother too many people. We were offered water, and our drink orders were taken. My husband and I are also pretty familiar with the menu, so we placed our entree order at the same time as our drinks. I ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy and my husband ordered the Croque Madame. The food arrived promptly. The Shrimp Po' Boy was delicious. The shrimp were savory and the slaw complimented the shrimp, adding a nice crunch and freshness. The portion of shrimp was also generous, and with the thin cut fries to pick at, I was definitely satisfied at the end of my meal. I tried a piece of my husband's Croque Madame, and with it being an edge piece, the edge was caramelized and I definitely enjoyed it. The sweet and savory combination of the Croque Madame makes it a dish I would recommend along with the Shrimp Po' Boy. Staff was friendly, checking in on us, food arrived promptly, was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Emporium!
Great food and atmosphere
Wonderful experience! Was recommended to us and the food was delicious! The fried chicken was awesome as well as the pork chop! Would recommend ! One of the best dinning experiences while we stayed in Savannah!
We visited for Restaurant Week, and it was a wonderful meal. I was introduced to Caponata, a lovely blend of eggplant, summer squash, pine nuts olives and spices. Rotisserie chicken was plentiful and cooked just right, with the meat retaining just a little moisture. But the Chocolate, Carmel and Café dessert was the highlight - a ball of caramel parfait with Tia Maria gelee (think coffee gelatin) and 'warm chocolate soup' as a generous bath. Oh my, oh my!
But altho it was a wonderful meal, there were no bargains here - the steak entrée had an upcharge of $9, so if you estimate $15 each for the appetizer and the dessert (both well worth it), you were paying basically standard prices.
Now I may not have visited Emporium had it not been Restaurant Week, so it served its purpose (for both of us) and I give Emporium high marks for being a not-at-all-stuffy, high-end dining adjacent to the posh Perry Lane Hotel.
We had a delicious meal and the service was incredible. All the suggestions made were beyond expectations.
The service was amazing and the food was even better!
The food and service never disappoints! Delicious as always!
Great service! Chefs touch the table which is a refreshing and attentive touch to the restaurant. The cuisine is always outstanding and evolving in the best way possible. The octopus and BBQ oysters are why I come back time and time again. The pork chop was incredible as my entree last time I visited and the fish feature of the day was a beautiful branzino that blew my brother away when visiting from out of town. I have brought family and friends from all over to Emporium and everyone raves. Highly recommend!!
A beautiful space in Savannah's historic district. Great food, great service.
Went for the Eat it & Like it restaurant week. I had the Stesk frit and my wife had the chicken. Both were perfectly done and presented. The wine list was more than complete and comprehensive. Prices were a bit on the high side but we enjoyed the dinner. With the wine, priced at the lower end of the list the total for 3 was 200. I had the key lime pie which was a deconstructed version which I liked. You can decide how much and in what combination you want the components. My wife had the ice cream which she had a problem with. It was presented in such hbk a large bowl that she had to use her finger to hold the scoop in place to eat it. She had to wash her hands afterwards
Love the atmosphere, the server was very friendly, and the food was amazing!!!
Friendly staff, seated us immediately. We went for brunch and in our opinion it was the best brunch menu we’ve had thus far in Savannah. The food was amazing!
Super cute date spot! Good food, great service. The chef came to check on us twice, which made us feel very appreciated. I felt the price was overall worth it, and didn't feel over charged for the quality of my meal. My only critique: The drinks were "meh." Both of our drinks were too sweet and difficult to drink. Hopefully that improves in the future!
