Staff and owners were exceptional. Food was great, it was so good l arrange to take family the next day again. It is very unusual to find a restaurant/pub to excel in good service lovely people good value food. I wish we had a place near where we live.

Had been meaning to visit the Elm Tree Inn for ages and finally got round to it on Sunday. Well worth the wait. Between the four of us, we ate three different meals. All very tasty, especially the veg that came with my lamb. Veg can sometimes be a bit nondescript, but these we fabulous. And no one had a problem with the slight variation that two of my party asked for, in their meals. We’ll be back, for sure.

Had good expectations with the website information of the chef having "sharpened his skills with the likes of Marco Pierre White and Atul Kochhar who are reputed Michelin star chefs". Being familiar with Atul Kochhar Indian cuisine, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Starter and Rajasthani Lamb Curry. Very poor and certainly not Atul dishes. Hotel is OK if you like cold showers but I wouldn't rush for the food

Fantastic food, great quality. 2 of us had the lamb curry. 2 had the seabass, 1 chicken risotto and 1 vegan Raman.
