Would only come for a birthday, because of the price, but amazing. Have never had such good service anywhere. We had at least 3 waiters! All pleasant personalities. We were delighted to find out that they grow vegetables served! And when we arrived at 5:10pm we had our own room for awhile, so it was very quiet and easy to talk. Very unique place to go, especially for a special occasion.

Overall a very good place to dine, I think that it straddles that place between fine dining and casual dining. The atmosphere was excellent with an old world charm. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu, . I had the Rib eye steak , it was very good, perfectly cooked at medium rear . , The collard greens were the best I have ever tasted. I would recommend this place and would return for a semi fine dining experience…

Wonderful restaurant with consistently great offerings. We went to celebrate an anniversary and birthday and were not disappointed. The flank steak dish I had was amazing. The other meals—filet and a duck breast dish were equally great.

My husband and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with brunch at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The food and service was exceptional. We were wished a happy anniversary by all the staff including the chef and manager. Our servers Jason and Lincoln went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Jason even took the time to take photos of us to document the rare occasion of us without our kids. Ambiance is quaint with a blend of fancy. Quiet and tastefully decorated in a classic, elegant fashion. It was nice to eat a meal in peace without my toddler at my ankles and my infant nursing between bites. The starter latkes and beet cured gravlax were delish; entrees - hunters breakfast special and the mushroom omelette with goat cheese were nothing short of spectacular. Food was so fresh and tasty. If you are a mushroom fan you won’t want to miss them. We ended the date with the kumquat upside down cake which was the perfect chefs kiss of light sweet and tangy. They also made us feel super special with a happy anniversary chocolate coin and champagne with our dessert. We will definitely be visiting again - when we can get a babysitter 🙃

We are so honored to host your special moments, and a date without the kids is always such a reason to celebrate! I will be sure to pass your compliments along to Chef Dan and Jason along with the rest of our team. We are so grateful you chose to spend your time together in our halls and we look forward to hosting you again soon! Cheers!

Major rebound from January visit. Crab cakes and apple salad were outstanding. Overall service was great. The only recommendation… Servers need wine education. You pour wine for the taster last not first after the tasting. Burgundy glasses are appropriate for Pinot noir not Bordeaux glasses. I know the restaurant has both as I saw both types of glasses being used. You don’t put a screw on cap back on the bottle after opening.
The Elkridge Furnace InnResponded on March 26, 2024
LLV2, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such helpful feedback! We have spoken with our restaurant managers and will make sure all our servers are updated on their wine service knowledge. We hope to have the joy of serving you again soon!
