   Very nice bar / restaurant, server was very attentative and not so much in your face as in other places. food was good and plentifull

   Entire experience at the Elgin was excellent. Our lovely server from Ireland (forgive me for getting your name), was patient as we looked over the extensive food and drink menu. She gave great suggestions, leading the 4 of us to perfect rotating drafts and cocktails, as well as tangy wings, a couple of French onion burgers, cheeseburger egg rolls, bao buns, and salt and vinegar fries. We cleaned our plates, as everything was delicious. Left with time before heading to our show, we grabbed another round and never felt rushed. We will definitely be returning to the Elgin!

   We had a great dinner before a Broadway show. Drinks, wings, and salads were amazing. Pizza was very greasy on the bottom and the cheese combo was just ok. Would try it again as our waitress was wonderful!

   The food was delicious and the drinks were pricey but the size explained the price, lovely atmosphere enjoyed it thoroughly

   If you weren’t sure if you should dine at Elgin, let this be your sign. My husband and I were spending the day in the city to later go to a jazz club to celebrate our anniversary. I searched for weeks to figure out where we should eat prior, and being that we would be in a tourist-y part of Manhattan, I didn’t want anything gimmicky. I looked for a good menu with nice reviews and a cool looking ambiance. This. Place. Is. It!!! The Elgin exceeded my husband and I’s expectations. We sat at the bar, ordered delicious specialty margaritas, which I may add, were perfectly crafted! We ordered the Saigon wings, tuna poke nachos, and we split the burger. All 10/10. Everything was perfectly seasoned and had great flavor. Aside from the food & drinks being fantastic, our bartender, who we later learned was the manager, Conor, will be the reason we continue coming back anytime we’re in the city. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. He had great conversation and was incredibly hospitable not even knowing we were there to celebrate an anniversary until later. Conor was engaging and you could tell he was extremely passionate about the restaurant and cocktails, educating us about the liquors and processes of making each drink. When learning it was our anniversary he brought us a dessert and champagne to celebrate. He was incredibly kind — people like Conor are truly the reason I enjoy going out. Good food and drinks are great, but nothing will make me want to come back soon other than people like him! He truly made our experience one of a kind and so memorable. You have to go!!

    Enjoyed a nice pre-theater dinner at The Elgin. Food and service were excellent. Drink specials were terrific. Unfortunately our experience was marred by two things - we got stuck at a dark table in the back next to a stack of chairs under a huge TV, so we really missed the charming ambience of the restaurant. And when we ordered dessert the server told us they do not serve decaf coffee!
