Every time we go to The Elderberry House, my wife and I are reminded of all the reasons this place is so special. Entering the front door, we are ushered into a serene atmosphere where dining on gourmet food is only part of the package. The staff is extremely friendly but not overbearing, serving and describing the elegantly presented courses with aplomb. Despite Covid-dictated restrictions, dining at The Elderberry House is still the memorable experience it always has been. We can't wait to return.

Everything about our anniversary dinner was memorable. We came here years ago on an anniversary and we weren't disappointed. The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the ambience is always a big plus!

Wonderful experience and wonderful food. Highly recommend spoiling yourself at the Elderberry House when visiting Yosemite. Ambiance was beautiful and tranquil. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and I really appreciated their ability to modify mine with my dietary restriction. We have plans to return again in the future!

We must have come on an off night. When we arrived no one greeted us, we stood awkwardly by until noticed 10 minutes later. We were told no outdoor seating with heating was available and we were made to sit indoors near another table under 6 feet which made us uncomfortable. Thank goodness they were flexible and let us sit further away. We were expecting high-class service and food, but had to wait 30 minutes between each course. We had to ask for water three times. We ordered cocktails but couldn't enjoy it because drinking on an empty stomach would have been bad news as we had to drive from 40 minutes away. Our steak was listed as medium rare but came out completely bloody and cold. Since it was 10:30 pm before our desserts were served ,we asked for them to go. Unfortunately when we got home they were both chewy (chewy cheesecake ...yuck) and uneatable. Wish we didn't spend over $100 per person for this meal.

Wonderful experience at a beautiful restaurant. The only con was that it took about 45 minutes to get bread after we’d ordered, but the bread was fresh out of the oven and delicious (it was artichoke). The food and service were outstanding.

We found this gem unexpectedly on a trip to YNP a year ago and were so impressed we came back the following night. Now we make a point of dining here every time we visit the park. Erika is fantastic and a joy to be around. Really goes beyond with her wine recommendations, pairings and overall attitude. My life partner and I highly recommend the experience.

This has become an integral part of your Yosemite experience. The restaurant is our reward for "roughing it" at the Park. Service has been great every time we're here. Food always retains its quality. The whole place just makes me feel special!

This was the Easter Brunch takeout deal. Still higher end treat but a great deal compared to their usual prices & only way we can afford it. Curbside service was very courteous. Food cooled off after one-hour drive home but a quick zap in the microwave brought it back to delicious. Salmon & veg options were great!

We were staying in town for Yosemite, and wanted a special night out. This place was incredible. We had our own tent outside with a heater, so it felt so safe and comfortable, especially as it was the first time I've dined out since covid. Such a pretty location, and the service was incredible. They took very good care of us, and the food was amazing. Definitely a great date night spot.

We were heading to Yosemite and spent the night and enjoyed a FABULOUS meal at Elderberry House. Wine recommendation was perfect and we enjoyed every bite. Elderberry House is an oasis in the middle of fast food options in Oakhurst, a truly unexpected find. The occasion was even more special as it was our first outing post-COVID vaccinations. We’ll be back!

This was the first time we tried the "curb" service and we were happy to get it...could have used a bit more soup for two,and a bit more beef, but it was very very delicious, and packaging beautifully done so we did not waste a bite! Miss the "castle" but will be back when safe to do so.

Erna’s Elderberry House has an ambiance and air to it that feels leaps and bounds more upscale than your typical “fine dining.” At the root of it the Prix Fixe dinner sounds so simple, but the execution is far from it. Creating a symphony or flavors and a litany of complex textures. I’ve been blown away by many dishes here that I traditionally wouldn’t even think of eating. It might be expensive, but it’s worth the experience alone. The food is always amazing, the drinks are strong, and the service is the best I’ve ever had.

A visit to Erna's is always a wonderful surprise but this was the first time we had the please of experiencing Chef Rob Snyder's wonderful creations! In a word, FABULOUS! We cannot wait to return...from Phoenix, AZ! If in the area, you have to reach out to one of the best meals to be had!

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. As a person with celiac disease, I always take note when an establishment is able to accommodate my gluten-free diet. They surpassed my expectations, and delivered a stunning series of courses that were completely gluten free. I was able to enjoy tempura again for the first time in years!

The environment and service were nice, but the food (duck and filet mignon) was rather simple, even bland, and the portions were small. Wildly overpriced ($300 for two) for what was served.

My fiancee and I celebrated our engagement at the Elderberry house. Overall the food was excellent and we enjoyed our meal there. However, the occasion did not feel special to us - I had written and told the restaurant that we were celebrating a special occasion. Neither the host or our waiter wished us well or congratulated us. The restaurant felt cold to us - minimal personality.
