   The lunch was not as tasty as the last we had 2 years ago. The front receptionist was not as together. The dessert choices are to die for, though. I'd still go again.

   The best “Bang for your Buck” in expensive & over-priced San Francisco. A true gem. Also, you never feel rushed, service with a genuine smile & all dishes, presentations & services provided by the culinary students themselves. A great program with great food!

   Support higher education and the future chefs of America! Had a wonderful meal neatly executed by the culinary students of City College in this student operated restaurant. This visit we had the arugula and strawberry salad, merguez meatballs over creamy polenta, a side of portabello mushroom and the splendid Chilean Napoleon with a secret tres leeches filling. Service was warm and attentive. Dishes arrived quickly. Dining room is bright and clean. Classical music in the background.

   My party of 6 really enjoyed the buffet at the Educated Palate. Presentation and taste were awesome!

   A pleasant "fine dining" experience that is very affordable in the downtown area that is actually run by students enrolled in the SF City College 2 semester culinary program! Although open only during the lunch hour, we were greeted warmly with a smile when we walk in. After being escorted to our table, they make sure we were comfortably seated before bringing us the menu and telling us about the day's specials. A couple times during the meal, they approach our table to make sure everything was satisfactory. I found the student staff (including the instructor) was very attentive, ready to answer questions about the food or to talk about their experience in the program (when asked). The food was tasty and elegantly presented on each plate. The deserts were bite-size and delicious. I enjoyed going to the Educated Palate. It's all for a great cause. The students get valuable experience. The cost of the meal goes back to the program to pay for food and equipment, etc.

   Very accomodating to my vegan diet. So apologetic when the food was delayed coming out.

   Went to this place for lunch three days in a row while at a work related conference. Food was amazing and very reasonable for the quality of the food.

   The best “bang for your buck” in expensive San Francisco. The dessert tray is truly a piece of art. I could have eaten two of the citrus salads (it was that good). The service was highly attentive. If you haven’t eTen here for lunch, you don’t know what you’re missing.

    Very nice food and friendly wait staff. Recommend the turkey reuban sandwich and desserts!!
