The servers are so nice, we came back for graham, he was our server the first time and made us fall in love with the restaurant. The grilled cheese was to die for and so was the Edison burger. Our favorite dish was the calamari. We have never had calamari that crispy. Planning on coming again for the 3rd time and hope to be seated with graham
Disaster from start to finish. We were seated at a table with low chairs so our chins were at table level. We were able to wait a little longer for a regular table. We then waited 30 minutes to get a glass of wine and bottle of beer, which was at room temperature. The special Valentine appetizer was already sold out so we skipped to dinner orders. First choice, prime rib, was sold out as well. Made a second choice only to have waitress return to say that was sold out! Ended up ordering a pulled pork sandwich. We then waited 45 minutes without food before asking to see the manger. Finally got food, which was cold, as manger arrived at our table. We rarely complain, even if something is not quite right, but this was a horrible experience!
There wasn't much to choose from on the menu, s better selection would be appreciated.
Good wait staff, limited selection of food, great ambiance
We had the best dinner! We had reservations and were seated within 5-10 minutes of checking in! The server was great, attentive and accommodating! The salmon and meatloaf were absolutely scrumptious! The live music made the dapper feel of the restaurant authentic! We truly enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Kayla, our server, was an absolute peach. Attentive, funny and friendly, she was a great server and kept us well fed, watered and informed.
The Edison is an entirely different breed of restaurant. Giving a 20/30’s industrial vibe and sporting great food and (in my opinion) world class entertainment, it was an experience I won’t soon forget and I’ll always make a priority when I’m in the area. High class bar food, jazz, dancers and a dress code (smart casual). Would certainly recommend!
Too pricey. Very noisy. Two floors. Sitting next to the bandstand. Could not hear each other.
Good food, so so service, waiter was in a hurry with their presentation of the specials. No silverware offered for handling takeaway food from plate to box after taking away the dishes and silverware. Mixed drinks were good but overpriced at $15.00. Food was great with a lot for the money.
Group of 6 and the service was super quick and the food was outstanding
Great service. Good music and theme. This was the ONLY place in Disney Springs that actually had an item on the menu specially for vegan. Thank you!
Food was excellent, good service. A little bit expensive.
Ambiance and drinks were great. Food took long, hostess was mediocre and food compares to Applebee’s.
Food was good but service was very slow. I had a 4 year old with me and it took an hour for my child’s grilled cheese to arrive.
We enjoyed our visit and meal very much, we would easily recommend this restaurant to our friends, the ambiance was amazing!! Took a few pictures too!!
Lovely venue; food average; prices above average.
Fun and delish
The food was okay, definitely overpriced (but you expect that being with Disney). Nothing special or great about the place. Wouldn't go back.
So far so good
The food was average, service was lacking but covered basic need of taking order and delivering food.
This place - in classic Disney style- is very cool. It feels like you’ve stepped into a 20’s era speakeasy in the basement of an old electric substation. The entertainment is top notch! That’s where the fantasy ends. The food is over cooked, bland and not what is advertised. Take the BBQ sirloin tips, for example. The description leads you to believe this is a nice cut of meat served with grilled onions and peppers over rice. That’s in fact what it says but with more flourish. It’s a teriyaki stir fry, no different than what you can purchase in the frozen section at any grocery store. Additionally, the rice was al dente at best. The staff is overworked and do not stop by often; we went to the bar several times in an attempt to retrieve our own drinks (25 minutes for drinks). Then we went back to the bar, to try and figure out what they made us. We ordered 2, old fashioned with cherries with 12 year old Fleur de Cana as the liquor (dark rum). These came out clear and cloudy with no cherries and tasted nothing like an old fashioned. We went to the bar to ask what it was and got a harried, clueless blonde woman who did not know what we were talking about. She was the only one in the upstairs bar at the time. We identified the mystery component to be vermouth. They were mostly vermouth. Yuck. My meal was comp’d (thank you for that), but the drinks were ruined and expensive on top of it. I say go, but have realistic expectations. Low value for money and it may be a better stop for a single drink or dessert.
I loved the atmosphere, wished the dance floor was a bit bigger and that you had more time to dance. Band should start at 9 instead.
Small overpriced lunch menu. The website stated entertainment for lunch and dinner, yet no entertainment at lunch.
The food and atmospher were great! If you want a little quieter atmospher and the weather is nice choose the patio.
Great time in a really cool place. The food isn’t the main attraction here, but be prepared to pay for the ambiance in food prices.
This was our first visit to the Edison. We enjoyed the ambience and the food but when the bill came we did not tell the waitress we had a discount with the DVC membership. she then told us that it was impossible for her to cancel the bill and apply the membership discount. The bill was $100 or more so it was a bit disappointing. But we would still go back but we would be more diligent with the discount. Thank you
The restaurant was true to previous reviews I had read, it was not busy that night and yet we waited almost 40 minutes for our food. The waiter said to us that he would speak to the manager to see what he could do butvat the end of our meal the check remained the same. However we did really enjoy the food , drink, and atmosphere very much.
Overall the food was good- and there is a gorgeous view on the outside patio- but the staff was not particularly informative, attentive or helpful. I had made a reservation for an outdoor patio table, which they said was great- then they sat us outside, but failed to mention that they had closed the patio because of a possible gas leak from one of the heaters. If they had said something we would have chosen a different table/area- but no one said a word- very odd- as a result our waiter was less attentive and didn't check-in and was slow to get the check/take it- so I ended up bringing it up to them myself.
When you're looking for a fun and different environment to sit with friends and family for dinner, there is no place like this one. Talk about just a great place with awesome staff and great food!
Service was terria
Super great place. Great scenery and atmosphere. Wait staff is great and funny. Had drinks first time there and had to come back for dinner. Thumbs way up on this place!!
We had the prime rib and it was very good. We were seated immediately. Our server was attentive. This was our second time here and we would go again.
My girlfriend and I went for our first year anniversary and without a doubt it was one of my favorite dinning experiences of all time. We had made reservations at 7:30 but ended up getting there an hour ahead of time and we still got sat right away no wait at all. The atmosphere was amazing with the 1920's steampunk design. The waiting was fantastic really energetic and happy to be there. The food was absolutely amazing it came out fresh and delicious. I can not say enough about this place if you have a special occasion or just want to have a nice night out I would definitely recommend The Edison!
Was very disappointed. The menu at the Tallahassee Edison was what I was expecting didn’t t see anything we liked enough to stay
Good atmosphere, well decorated. Fun black and white movies on the wall. Food, not so good. Three of four of our items came incorrect or not fully cooked. They took the three off the bill since we could not eat them, and rightly so. For a restaurant this expensive, they should be better at this. It is not a new place.
The service was awesome (thanks Graham!) and the ambiance was really cool. The comfort food was satisfying but the real winners were the desserts and drinks!
I got the Edison Burger and it is one of the best burgers I've ever had.
The entertainment was excellent, a lot of fun! Food was just okay.
they get you in and out. it is more about table turns then food or service.
The Edison it’s a really fun place. If you are looking to have a conversation make sure you are there before the performance.
(The performers were amazing)
I expected a bit more from a restaurant at Disney Springs. The interior was very cool but very cool doesn’t always make for a great dining experience. The food was ordinary. The chicken caesar salad was mediocre at best and the loaded baked potato was anything but loaded. I’d pass for something better on my next trip.
