Had a wonderful time celebrating my girlfriends birthday. It was our first time here and we both absolutely loved it. The music was amazing, food was delicious and all around great experience and atmosphere. We will definitely be back and can’t wait for the full entertainment to be back in action.
We went to check out the decor, it is Steampunk inspired and fabulous. I loved the ambiance and there was a terrific singer on stage.
We had the calamari as an appetizer and it came with jalapenos and red pepper as well as the octopus. Cooked to perfection with 2 sauces to choose from. I ordered the Mahi as main course and it was delicious a cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the prime rib, it was cooked perfectly but i arrived cold! he sent it back to get it reheated and we think they cook just poured warm broth over it because it was still quite cool upon arrival the second time. So he just sent it back and they wrote if off the bill. If you do order it and hopefully it arrives hot, it comes with a puff pastry to sop up the broth with and it was a nice side.
The decor, the building, all the "stuff" that makes it work, makes it work very well. The menu is simple, with very generous servings, great food. Service was excellent, the musician (sax) was super. All 4 of us were sold, and will be back.
Cool place for a drink and appetizer. Service was great! The food was just ok.
Requested standard seating and got high top bar seating. Worse part was that my husband and I were seated in a corner by bar. Reservation made 4 months in advance and we could see none of show, only the underside of stairway. Service was average and food was slightly above average. This was second try at dining here. First time when I arrived I was informed they were doing a private event. They never informed me they were closed that night and I had a confirmed reservation. Worse yet it was pouring rain. I however did not give up and attempted to dine there my next time in Disney. Strike two. They will never be given another chance by me. Put a fork in them, they are done!
The staff was exceptional and the food was cooked to perfection
Was much different than my first experience several years ago which I really enjoyed and decided to take a first timer there. The place went downhill and is a bit overpriced, although not bad considering it is Disney springs.
We had a 5:30 reservation and were seated downstairs in the cabaret area where the stage is although nothing was going on. The table was very uncomfortable and the table next to me had a dog with them which caused me to cough and sneeze while they were there. We asked to be moved upstairs in one of the booths which we could see and they said no that they were for parties of more than two and we could only stay where we were although there was plenty of seating upstairs.
Within a few minutes they seated 2 people up there!
Staff is amazing, very accommodating
The Edison used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Keyword used. I went back to The Edison for the first time since the pandemic and the cut backs were unreal. I must say the staff is always wonderful, and our server was great. The food, on the other hand, was horrible, over priced, and not worth the price. Their famous bacon used to be really thick and you could tell it was the good stuff. Now, it looks like regular Oscar Meyer bacon you buy from Wal Mart. And it now costs $18. It used to be around $12 for the good stuff. The $19 calamari was not crispy at all and the breading kept falling off into the sauce. Not to mention there was maybe 6 pieces of calamari on the plate and the rest were breaded peppers. My Edison Burger bun was soggy on the bottom and fell apart on my first bite. My electrifries were the worst. The kitchen let them sit there so long that the nasty sauce they put on them made them soggy and they came out lukewarm. The slaw tasted like cabbage in vinegar. I remember the burger being $18, now $25. The menu used to be a book and now it’s maybe 10 entrees. No more Mac n cheese. When I asked the server why, she said their kitchen is too small and they have to follow the regulations of COVID. Using COVID as an excuse for excessive price increases, poor quality food, and huge slash in the menu is just getting super old. If you’re going to raise your prices that much, at least leave the food alone. The entertainment was sub-par. Sang 3 songs and took a break. No band anymore. No dancers. Nothing. I can name 20 establishments that provide this type of entertainment still.
I can honestly say I won’t be going back to The Edison again. I was a huge fan of this place and celebrated my birthday there a few years back. It’s a sinking ship. Save your money and go to Applebee’s and you’ll find better food.
Great food, a bit pricy but I’d pay it again for the ambiance. Great piano player and the music over the speakers was great—— newer, more modern songs, redone with a period vibe. Fantastic. I’d suggest they raise that music a little bit more!! And more selections on the menu would be great. I’d definitely go again. Great to bring friends too. Kind of quiet for lunch—I was surprised.
Great disney spot for adults looking to enjoy theatrical diningg entertainment. Not for kids at all beware! But it was great for my group!
Prices a bit steep but thats to be expected. Prime rib was great… ribs were disappointing.
Great food and entertainment
Thanksgiving dinner. Good food but late in the night. Running out of some options for dinner.
Reservation made couple months ahead still got seated 20 mins late. Food was served cold but it was late night and we are starving and we have no other options. Aside from that our server is very nice and we like the live music.
We had a fabulous thanksgiving meal here with our family. The entertainment was amazing and the ambiance incredible. The food and service were top notch. It exceeded all of our expectations after days at the parks.
The decor was amazing, there was live music. Food was good, but my salmon came out uncooked. They re-cooked it, but it’s not the same. Waitress was kind. Your rushed in and out, but that’s not untypical of a Disney Springs location.
We were tickled to find a Thanksgiving turkey dinner for two of us yet enough variety for those who wanted something else. Our waiter was wonderful. Patient and informative.
We are Thanksgiving lunch there. Tables are on the smaller side. The noise level can be a bit much.
We ordered the Thanksgiving meal, and it was not good at all. The food took a long time to come out which surprised us as it was their advertised Thanksgiving special and wouldn’t need to be prepared to order. The turkey had very little taste to it, and my plate consisted of a very small portion of meat. The potatoes were cold as was the gravy. The service was not good either. We couldn’t get our waitress’s attention so that we could get straws for our drinks, so my son got up and got some from the bar. Our drink glasses stayed empty for a long time before she finally came back by our table so that we could ask for a refill. Very disappointed. Paid $200 for the 3 of us to have a very bland meal. Won’t go back.
The Edison is such a unique atmosphere. You truly feel transported back to the 1920’s. The service is great, food & drinks are amazing and the entertainment is top notch. Highly recommend going for the holidays if you can, the way they do Christmas is fantastic!
Great server, Saberina. And great singers
Later is best - after the entertainment starts. Started with Calamari - the only excellent food served to us. I had the Caesar Salad, added a chicken breast; boyfriend had the burger. After finishing my $22 martini served in a coupe, the food arrived after two additional glasses of water were consumed. The burger was greasy leaving the bun soggy. The chicken breast on the salad was cold - not chilled as if to preserve the lettuce - but cold, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for an hour. Which, coincidentally, was about how long it took for our food to arrive.
Skip this place for food - that said I highly recommend stopping by for a pricey cocktail while enjoying the live entertainment.
We had awesome food. Unfortunately we were upstairs and couldn’t see the live music but we did hear it. The food is really expensive, like all things in Disney. But it was part of the experience and we knew it going in.
We ordered drinks and burgers but mine came out wrong so it needed to be remade. That being said, the service was good and the food was great. The best part though was the music. I could have listened to it all night but we had to go. Would go back again
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is fun and the decor is amazing.
Prices are a bit high but to be expected for where and what it is.
Our server was high energy and efficient.
We went on a Friday night and the springs were super busy. But Edison was able to accommodate us, we had my parents and our 12 week old baby, so they sat us outside away from the loud speakers and under a heater. It was so nice to sit and enjoy the food and relax. We go Edison at least 1x every year when we come down to Disney. The Grilled Cheese is amazing!!!!!!
Good atmosphere. Service was very good. Food was good too.
Love the ambiance of the whole place!!!! Good food!
Fun themed restaurant. Food offerings were, on face value, very appealing. Our meals were not great.
My family and I been dinning there whenever we visit Disney World and food been good. This time the food was salty. The cook must be new and the quality of the food was not the same.
The food was good, the entertainment, The American Sirens, was great, but the service was ok at best. Ordered two rounds of drinks, each round took forever to get and our server kept blaming the bartender. Our appetizer was delivered but we had no plates, asked the server to bring plates, watched him do 100 other things while our appetizer was getting cold and still no plates, had to ask again. Partially cleared the table when the entree’s came, leaving the big rack the bacon appetizer came on, we had to ask him to remove it. Was unable to answer any questions about the wine selections.
The best thing was the ambience, it was perfect for a date. Good food presentation, but did not enjoy the taste of it. Not a good value overall.
Great food and entertainment. Service was great too
Chicken Tenders were served raw to our 4 year old. Server was quick to correct however all food was just a little on the cool side.
The Edison is perfect for a date night, group of friends, special occasion and just a generally great time. They always have some live music (jazz during the early evening, more rock/dance bands after 10PM), the drinks are creative, the service is good and the food is varied enough that there's something for everyone. Will definitely be back!
Be prepared for super slow bar service. 25 min for a glass of wine. Even longer for our appetizer. server was friendly and food was ok to good.
Exceptional service during our visit on Saturday for lunch. An amazing server and great support from the test of the staff.
