Our server, Lexi, was amazing! Super attentive and truly engaged with our children. She is a rock star - wish she lived in NY so she could work in my restaurant.
The ambiance of the restaurant was awesome!
Service is always amazing and the candied bacon keeps us coming back! The star hill sipper is a must try if you like old fashioneds.
I would have given this review a 5 star but the hostesses who provide the first impression of the restaurant really need to keep this in mind. They were impersonal and lacked basic social skills. Remember a smile goes a long way. Food, ambiance and waiting staff were fantastic!
It was a average meal for me and my daughter, and the food was just average as well. Alcohol was REALLY expensive. I think I spent $14.50 for a dirty martini. Waitress had to point out that there was an upcharge for Kettle one. Cheese board was really good and the Mac-n-cheese my daughter had looked really good. I had the short ribs which were average. Disney uses the "put gravy on anything" method to make the food better. It worked but only to the Average level for me. But the standard Disney food rumors/rules apply at the Edison. Average food, overpriced, good and friendly service but don't expect a bargain or 4-5 star tastes.
If you want to go, get an app or two to share, stay as far away from alcohol as you can, get an iced tea and get out of Disney springs and go to a real restaurant. Just understand that all the Disney springs eateries are about the same. Average overpriced food. But if you know that going in you will be okay and not disappointed.
Never been to this before. It food was not fantastic but very good. The service was great, although a on two occasions the brought food that was suppose to go to another table. We made a reservation and was taken in to be seated on time. I would go back to this restaurant again.
Very relaxing Disney meal. Food was excellent and our server was phenomenal. Will be returning.
Family friendly and good solid food and great service!
A great family experience to finish off our holiday! We loved the food and cocktails and Alan our waiter was outstanding .
The Edison was a great place to eat. Our server (Lexi) was wonderful, she was very busy with all of the tables she had but she still took the time to explain the menu. Will move this to the top of our list for Disney Springs.
I came here with my family during vacation. We were one of the first tables sat and for that reason I felt that the service could have been significantly better. Our server was absent and forgot our appetizer completely. We had to ask multiple times for refills. We just felt like she wasn’t completely interested. The ambiance would have received a 5/5 but for the fact that the vintage movies they were playing were kinda strange and disturbing. Otherwise, the 20’s vibe was very cool! The food was decent for downtown Disney.
Saw the waitress only every 20 minutes. Would have ordered more drinks but she was nowhere to be found.
Venue is just eye candy. Decent amount of ambient noise, but it's not jarring. The food was phenomenal but a tad on the pricey side.
The Edison was very nice. The only recommendation is the Short Rib dinner could of been hotter. The mashed potatoes were cold.
We would definitely return.
Not too bad considering how touristy the area is. Service left something to be desired as it appears the wait staff are over worked. Watch out for stereotypical photographer to come around and coax you into a "free" post card in the middle of your meal, at the end they will upsell you to a $10 per photo portrait.
Great food! Great atmosphere ! Wonderful service! The prime rib was tender and cooked perfect!
The Edison is a very cool touristy place. The food is good and the service is always good. I recommend it when your visiting Orlando/Disney Springs you won't be disappointed.
Got seated right next to the bar, people were bumping our table, standing with their butts in our faces, setting drinks on our table and then we were made out to be the bad guys. The manager moved us to around the corner. It was much better but the server told us before we moved that what we ordered might not be available, but it was and it was the “last one” does that mean they crank out food and let it sit around until someone orders it?!
I got my dish before the drinks arrived (2 cokes) and my girlfriend didn’t get her meal for 15 minutes after. We only seen our server once since we sat down. I had to go hunt down the manager again and tell her I wanted our check. She did go above and beyond for us by discounting the food and a free desert (love her for that) but that doesn’t excuse how our waiter acted towards us in the beginning.
Such a cool spot for dinner. Our group loved the theme and the food. It was a TON of food and we left full! We all thought it was a great value. Our bachelorette group really enjoyed it!
The Edison has a cool vibe and good food. I gave four stars because my fries were cold, but otherwise everything was great!
Only recommend this place for couples, adults or family with teen and above. Food for kids is not worth it, junk food at $15.00 a dish.
Had to change table as we were getting g dripped on, saw another couple had the same issue elsewhere which is conceding for a health/mould issue in addition to just being an inconvenience on the person being dripped on.
Disappointed to find out the show is only on Thursday-Saturdays which is something not clear on their website and was looking forward to.
Food service was fast and portion sizes on the Mac & Cheese were huge, definitely better shared. Expensive for average door with $16 for 4 pieces of bacon!
Drink service was pretty slow, think there was only one server in the whole place! Cocktails were not outstanding one had to be sent back but was changed without issue.
The food was good and there were cool black and white movies playing on the walls.
Did not actually eat here. Went with a party of 5 for dinner and after about a 10 min wait (I had made reservations earlier in the day) we were taken to a small downstairs table in the middle of what seems like a dance floor. We barely had enough room for water glasses let alone what would have been 5 meals. The place was very loud, with music and videos playing on several of the walls. The noise just from other people taking made it hard for us to hear one another. After looking over a limited menu, we decided to leave to try something else.
Our waitress was very nice... ambiance was kinda interesting..food was not much better than Dennys... soooo not worth the price...better to go to The Boathouse or another restaurant in DS
We really enjoyed our waitress. She was engaging and fun. She made us feel at home and welcome. We made these reservations one month prior to graduation. We had unexpected out of town visitors who decided to join us for dinner. This completely ruined the front desk employees day! They put us on a high top that was SOOO uncomfortable to sit at. And told us we had to be done eating by 8pm. Through out dinner all around us were smaller tables that were left available that we would have gladly made due with, we even had a table reserved for 5 already that they could have put the other two next to us. So disappointing. Oh, and they could seat us outside in the rain? for 7! UGH
Always go to The Edison on our trips to Disney and have a great time. On this trip, we had a reservation, were promptly seated but had to go find a waiter after 15 minutes of waiting. Food and drinks were great, band was very good, just a touch to loud.
Loved the food and service at the Edison. Grilled peach burrata salad was simply perfection.
The guacamole was fresh made to order and delicious.
The grilled cheese was unreal!!!
The burgers looks awesome too.
This is a great restaurant. I love looking at all of the details... steampunk.
Price is reasonable and food is excellent
The service was good but the food was just average and overpriced. The roof was leaking making us move our table. Not up to "Disney" standards.
Wait staff very nice and helpful. The old movies projected on walls were entertaining and a bit surreal for children who grew up watching Disney -Pixar animation.
Great, fun environment! Good variety of food. Service was slow.
Lost power just as we where going to be seated for our 9:30 reservation. Instead they canceled everything because they had to reset or wait for there tech to work. And so we where given a mangers card to come back and explain we were there the day the power went off. So i guess the manager will ...what get ys in ? Free drinks? Im not sure but we where on vacation staying 25 mins away and had to uber there and we only where staying for 3 more days in Florida and they dont do the night show on monday,Tuesday so we dont know how the show goes,or food or drinks taste like. We may never know. Also they let everyone one in to go to the bars even when they're super full to crowded and a mess
I was able to revisit The Edison on Sat., Aug 3rd at the request of the manager, Nickolas. Let me say it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. This is an up class restaurant with classy employees. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like ROYALTY. The food was the best, and flavorful. The presentation was beautiful. Our food was cooked to perfection. The meal portions were so large that we had take food home. Our waitress was very humble and sweet. She anticipated our needs before we could ask. The atmosphere was very energetic. There were various entertainment acts along with live band and jazz muscian. They even had a DJ that kept you on the floor wanting to dance all night long. There was music for all ages. I will certainly will be going back again.
Service was a little slow. Food and atmosphere were great!!
Great atmosphere and cuisine. We enjoyed the aesthetic and the service was outstanding.
We had a great time! Perfect addition to a quick trip to Disney Springs
Saw a lot of mixed reviews but when we asked the bell staff at Waldorf Astoria they all said you gotta go to Edison Thurs-Sun !! So we went on Thursday with both my over 21 children. We had a blast from the clothes line bacon to the shots from the fairy walking around, went down after dinner to watch live band and then danced until 2 with the DJ
BEST PLACE TO GO HANDS DOWN IN AREA!!!
Atmosphere is odd. Placed 5 adults at a 4 top, quite crowded with food and drinks. Average service, food was good but nothing special. Fun for drinks and apps with friends. Wouldn’t recommend for a Disney family vacation, but it was ok.
Poor service. Poor overpriced food. Food
Was also cold. Very disappointing.
The food was quite tasty. Portions are substantial. Fried chicken is done very well. Burgers are also good.
Ordered fish and chips...the whole dish was greasy. Was not worth $22 maybe like $8
