John was the best!! Loved the service the atmosphere, the mixologist and the food was perfectly cooked and delicious!!
Great Birthday dinner for 2.
Food selection wasn’t the best and way overpriced. I think this location is best for a quick drink.
Great place . We live in Sarasota and we just drive there just to have fun and great drinks !!
We love the place ♥️ People is sooo nice and very accommodating to what you want .. thank you .
Over priced. Expected higher quality. Rather go to a nice steakhouse or seafood restaurant.
Quaint, quiet seating on back patio was delightful! Hidden gem from the show inside. We tried that in the past & fun but this experience was a great surprise.
Waiter forgot to put order in....very long wait between appetizer and dinner, but he was apologetic and nice.
Fun place! Would go again
we used to enjoy dining at the Edison but the environment has changed. Used to find the Edison as a classy restaurant and now is extremely casual with their staff dresscode, The background music used to be themed along with the design of the Edison but the music is much more updated appearing to appeal to millennials. Though there is nothing wrong with that, I personally enjoy background music that is more in line with the theming of the decor.
We visited during a limited environment due to COVID 19 restrictions and therefore my comments may be subject to those limitations. As with all restaurants in Disney, you have to scan a code with your smart phone to see the menu or you have to ask for a paper menu. All menus have limited selections. However if an establishment is open during restricted times, service should not be compromised. Service left much to be desired, had to ask twice for our initial beverages of water and soda. Staff appeared to be stressed and overtaxed however were very polite during any interaction. Candied beacon always delish! Caesar salad dressing was more of a ginger balsamic vinaigrette nothing like a usual Caesar dressing. waitress said it was not creamy but said it tasted like usual Caesar dressing. Wrong! Hopefully a more professional and less casual environment will return once COVID 19 restrictions no longer are needed.
Food was overpriced and not worth the cost. Fries were cold and service was slow and very blah. Server had no personality. The atmosphere was kinda loud not a big deal if the rest of the experience would have been good. What draw me to this place was how neat it looked but that was its only charming aspect. Wouldn’t go back. There are plenty of better places to eat at Disney springs for better prices. Very disappointed I have been looking forward to eating here for quite some time.
Service was great. Very attentive server. Food was not bad, but not great and was expensive for what it was. The entertainment (acrobat) was not there and has been discontinued due to Covid. The band was talented, but missed the mark on a few cover songs. Overall it was meh, probably won’t be back, but our server was super attentive.
The food was really good and we can’t wait to go back.
The girls and I came out last night and had a blast. John took good care of us very well. My Edison burger was perfect and juicy. The fries paired perfectly. My Green Electron was refreshing and “healthy”. I loved that we had the corner booth. It gave us the VIP vibe. We had a 5:15 P.M. reservation and no one was there. Live music started playing as we left to hit another bar. I love when they have dancers, too.
*If you have Tables in Wonderland, they accept it!
The location is great. The atmosphere is pretty neat. Our server, Austin, was very attentive and did a great job. The food was delicious. We will definitely go back.
I love The Edison. My wife and have been there once before. We understand that COVID ruins the experience, but it was a let down this time. No fault to the Edison. I wish there was entertainment besides old black and white/colorized cartoons and videos on the screen.
Food was great. Server was nice but we wished he would have showed up more frequently (our drink glasses were empty more often than not). Brought a friend (from Orlando who had never been. He enjoyed it but he was also let down for lack of “shows” but understood. Hopefully things will go back to normal soon. We will return in a few years and we’ll be back.
We had an 8 pm reservation and were told when we arrived that it would be at least 830 before we would be seated. No apologiesn, no smiling hostess, just stand over there and wait. The look and feel of the place was great however. Enjoyed the live band. Waiter was so so.
This is a really cool place in springs. Def worth checking out.
Weekend getaway with my mom. Food was excellent, service was perfect. Only issue we had was that my mother was cold under a vent. They promptly moved us to a different table and we enjoyed the rest of our dinner.
The bartender John was awesome took time out and made me a special twist on a staple drink. The steak, bacon, and brisket are out of this world
Drinks we’re excellent but the food - hit or miss. The grilled cheese with tomato soup was EXCELLENT but the prime rib sub par. The prime rib was pre cooked then tossed on the grill to reheat and the portion was small (thin cut of beef). Not the best. Sat outside which was nice but all of the action and ambiance was inside. It would be nice if they made the outdoor space more enjoyable.
Great food, fun band, everyone had fun and I felt socially distant and safe eating there.
We reserved for an early seating and although there were few people there we were initially seated downstairs around the corner in the back only some folks had used that table for their storage so we were then seated under the stairs with a view of a bunch of stored stools and no view of the stage or outside where we would have loved to sit had we known that was an option. I was dressed well in my opinion but seeing as how I was seated in repeatedly hidden areas perhaps I should review my fashion choices, it could be that I may be ugly? Nothing a mask hasn’t cured, surely this wasn’t why, is it?
The food was good. The bacon appetizer was the best part of the meal. The prime rib was ok, very fatty even for prime rib. Nothing amazing but certainly nothing to complain about. I felt it was a little pricy for the quality but didn’t feel completely robbed either. At that price I’d expect to be wowed with the flavor and a neat presentation, perhaps it was tossed around when being delivered but the popover was a slightly burnt and soggy from the au jus. You’re approaching the Palm, Morton’s, and Delmonico’s territory at the $41 a plate price point and they wouldn’t have served me what I was served tonight, without a doubt.
So, the ambiance -Stools and a parade of people going up and down the stairs above our plates. The music didn’t fit the theme, takes you right out of the experience, there are so many possibilities for music in that era as well as new interpretations.
The food- good not great, with regards to the prime rib, improve the presentation, it might be that simple. The environment might have made me more critical I don’t know but it certainly was not great.
The Service- without a doubt a friendly waitstaff that wasn’t hovering but didn’t forget you. Very good.
I don’t think I’ll be back and am positive I won’t be having a business meal there or recommending to visitors. Sad because the concept could be a winner. Hope that helps, good luck.
My favorite restaurant in Disney springs, great service and seafood
Great meal, great location! John did an excellent job.
Our waiter Michael was very attentive and helpful. We had requested outside dinning but we had placed our reservation late and had to be seated inside. It was in a corner and perfect. The food was delicious and presentation was very nice. Cosmos were good too!
Was ok at best. Greasy burger, bun not fresh, but nice place.
I love the atmosphere and decor of The Edison, and the live music was good. Food and service was excellent. It's a bit pricey but a nice restaurant. I wasn't a fan of the location of our table, a bit of an odd location near the downstairs bar and back door. However, overall it was a good experience.
The Edison is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. Cool ambiance, food is great. It's pricey, but not as bad as most of the other disney springs table service restaurants.
Food was delicious! Our group had the Prime Rib, Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup, The Chopped Salad with Chicken and the Short Rib. We all enjoyed our food and drinks! Appetizers were unique and different! Highly recommend making a reservation as this restaurant is popular!
First time dining at The Edison, and everything was perfect! The bacon app is a must. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is what dreams are made of, and the salmon was light and delicious! Our server was awesome, and the live music was the first I’ve heard in forever and the band made for a perfect night! Can’t wait to come back!
Baked potatoes fid not come as ordered. They sent french fries. Then it came to late. Fish from 25 dollar fish and chips was very greasy and i could not eat it. Service slow and not ready for old people without cell to read menu. Music and ambiance was very good
We had a reservation for 8pm. We tried getting in earlier but we could not. We were seated about 10 minutes before our reservation. We sat there for 10 minutes before the server came by to tell us she would be back. She then came back and we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer came out but we wanted to order alcoholic drinks and dinner. We waited and after we had been sitting there for well over 40 minutes she came back and asked if we wanted to order dinner. We had already eaten our appetizer. An appetizer is a pre-course to dinner. We were very annoyed we just asked for the check and left. We ended up going to another restaurant in Disney Springs because we were to have dinner and drinks. Luckily, we found an amazing restaurant and had the BEST dinner and service of our trip.
The menu is missing assortment, the food was good and drinks were good as well...
Such a great restaurant. Great ambiance, love the 1920s flapper theme. Delicious drinks (I love the option to smoke any cocktail!) and amazing food. Overall 10/10 experience. Can't wait for COVID to be over and to get back to the show!!
Amazing! Went to celebrate my husbands birthday and we had so much fun! Food was delicious and our server was great! Definitely coming back!
Fantastic place IF you are seated at a good table. We were not. Seated by kitchen entrance, then moved outside (where there is ZERO ambience) then back to the table by the kitchen entrance. There are GREAT tables on the top floor from which you can see/enjoy the band on the bottom floor. From our table ... not so much.
Excellent experience. My family and I will be returning
Married. First dinner out since Valentines Day. We felt very safe. There was ample room and the staff and patrons were well prepped for Covid 19.
Had short ribs for dinner very dry and tough
Husband had prime rib which was delicious
