Excellent experience. My family and I will be returning
Had short ribs for dinner very dry and tough
Husband had prime rib which was delicious
From the time my GF researched this place online we knew we had to check it out on ur visit to Orlando this past weekend, it was everything we expected and then some. she had an awesome birthday dinner with great ambiance and service, will defiantly recommend...
Staff is very slow even with a mostly empty facility
Loved it! I have to eat gluten free and I really appreciated how knowledgeable the waitress was and their process for separating gluten free orders from other orders. Great atmosphere and music as well!
Drinks were good, food was okay, ambiance was excellent. Social distancing was so-so, had to ask waiter to keep the mask over his nose. Also not sure about live music indoors at this stage.
Fish and chips were overly greasy. Prime rib was chewy and unflavored. Calamari was like rubber bands. But it All was very expensive!
Our service was slow, Food was ok. Have had better
John the bartender made this evening perfect! I wish I recoils remember the name of the bitters he used in his old fashioned because those were the best I’ve ever had!
We made a reservation for 9:30pm when we heard that the Edison was open again. We were celebrating our 5th Anniversary. No where did it say the showtimes so we assumed they were till close. We stayed on universal property. Took an Uber to dinner. Took an Uber to Disney springs. Walked through and insane crowd with no social distancing at all. Completely over capacity everywhere. We did not feel comfortable. But we continued to walk all the way to the Edison to watch the show and mhave a drink. We got there at our reservation time. The host said their was no shows after 9pm. So we sat for 1 min and left. We literally went all the way there just to watch the show. Then we had to wait 1 hr for another Uber. Very very disappointed. We’ll never go back again. I’m also done with Disney springs and the horrible crowds. It’s impossible to even enjoy ourselves there anymore.
Really enjoyed our time!
We went there for my wife’s birthday dinner. The place has an incredible atmosphere. There was no happy hour which wasn’t a deal breaker but I wish the did because the drink prices were really high compared to other Disney restaurants. The prime rib was incredible, mash potatoes were great, but the loaded baked potato was excellent. Short rib was very good as well
A very nice themed restaurant, they do have a good variety of foods to choose from. The Edison Burger is my favorite.
Great experience as always.
Impressive restaurant in design and architecture
Food quality was only average
Prices were high and menu very limited
Will unlikely return until the menu is expanded
The restaurant was very nice inside and the food was pretty good. It was expensive for the most part especially the drinks being so tiny and 15 bucks each no matter what you got. We had the prime rib and the short rib which was very tasty but those were the best things on the menu that are not a grilled cheese or a burger. We got an appetizer to start and the server forgot to ring them in and we waited a while for them. She admitted that she did that and still charged us for it. You could tell her she was flustered the whole time we were served. She took a very long time to check us out. I would say this is a one time kinda place. I wouldn’t go back. If she would have removed the fries from the bill her top would have been more that 20%
The food was as described on the menu. It was tasty and well presented. One odd thing, even though there were entree salads one of our party was refused a side salad even though we were prepared to pay for it. Good service. Drinks kept filled and food arrived hot and timely. My biggest complaint is that our table was socially distanced when we first arrived but over the hour and a quarter we were there they kept seating people all around us with no table separation. There were many tables available that were socially distanced???? It made us leave early without ordering dessert or coffee.
John the barkeep downstairs makes the best Old Fashioned!
Food was great too
Scheduled this prior to COVID shut down for our anniversary trip to Disney. We wanted to experience the shows that happen as well as the food/ drinks.
We lost our first reservation, but were able to reschedule. We knew the shows were not happening but still wanted to experience the food and drinks available here.
Everything was excellent.
We can’t wait to come back and experience the restaurant when it’s fully up and running.
The Edison is a neat place. Unfortunately for the price, the food is only ok. Prices for lunch are more reasonable. $19 for a French dip seems like a lot for it to just be ok. Will try other places next time.
This place is so beautiful the ambiance is great! Such a cool place with amazing food and the entertainment is a massive bonus!
My boyfriend and I got to our reservation early, and the hostess gave us the option to sit at the bar- so we took it! Bartenders were great! My usual drink is a lychee martini, and since they don’t serve lychee here Allen and John (the bartendar’s/our waiters for the night)recommended the perfect alternation- a Very Berry martini. Food service was amazing. I felt like I placed my order and had the runner serve us in under 5 minutes. For an appetizer we had the Candied Bacon... SO DELICIOUS! I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup (before you say/think anything about ordering this classic at a restaurant.... it was so delicious) and my boyfriend had the Edison Burger. Ended the night with another order of a Very Berry Martini and Old Fashion.
COVID note: they were great with protocol. We sat at the bar and had basically the whole space to ourselves. Staff wore masks AND face shields, along with gloves :)
will 100% come again <3
Great time. The food was delicious and the band was fantastic.
I have to say that I was pretty impressed with the food the presentation was great and the service was awesome. What a neat place inside.
Love this place. Good food, great atmosphere, and great service
Need more service
This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in my whole life! My boyfriend got the prime rib and I got the French dip sandwich and the flavor of both were impeccable. The waiter made the experience even better. He was so friendly, upbeat, and always keeping up with our needs. Don’t get me started on the overall vibe and look of the place! Very romantic ambiance all while still being lively and fun. Will 100% be coming back here many times to come in the future!
The seating was very uncomfortable especially for someone with disabilities. My wife is suffering through cancer and on a mobility scooter yet they sat us at a high top table.
We love the vibe. The band was amazing. The server was in it. The food just wasn’t that good and it was very expensive.
Beautiful decor, excellent appetizers. Main entrees dismal, menu never explained. Seated without regard to if you wanted to be able to talk (live music way overwhelming). All food under salted (prime rib at ridiculous price point). Bar items never discussed.
Cleanliness was great. Server was great. Food was good but way over priced even for Disney
This is a place that we’ve frequented often. However, since re-opening after COVID, it’s definitely not the same. The menu options have significantly decreased, prices have increased and the food quality was mediocre at best. My French dip sandwich was so greasy, I couldn’t eat the bread. We would definitely give this place another try, just not anytime soon.
Very great social distancing measures. Menu was limited but the food was very good.
The live sax player AND the background music was TOO loud considering the lower #s of people in attendance because if social distancing. You couldn’t hear each other nor the server even when shouting. Loaded fries were ‘ok’.
Overall, a great experience. Loved the saxaphone player.
Some customers were observed walking around the restaurant, going to bathroom, etc.
and NOT wearing a face mask. This needs to be enforced for the safety of all diners and employees.
Thre restaurant was great with a really cool vibe and overall atmosphere. The staff ALL communicated via wireless headphones and were ON IT! Half way through the meal I noticed one of the waiters mentioning something about a table and within minutes someone was there to take care of it. However, as impressive as it all was, I believe our waitress made the experience. Her name was Ariel. When she showed up both my wife and I noticed how young she appeared. The second thing we both noticed was how well spoken and knowledgeable she was about the menu, the restaurants history and the overall area of Disney Springs. She definitely made the meal that much more enjoyable of an experience. I didn't notice a manager anywhere (not to say they weren't present) so on the way out I made it a point to have the hostess send a message to the manager about how wonderful the service was. My only regret is living across the country so we can't go back anytime soon.
Good fun place
Good late night vibe
Bit pricey $$
But it is Disney
Great Restaurant with good food and service. Will definitely visit again.
This place is nicely appointed. However, there is a disconnect between the kitchen and the wait staff. I ordered a French Dip sandwich, and was challenged to find much meat in it. Very Disappointed! I asked for well done french fries. They arrived warm and limp. Again, Disappointed! Nice atmosphere, overpriced food but the ambiance was nice. The place was like a ghost town so there is no excuse for this sad experience.
