One drink without tip $18. I was never asked for anything. I had to ask for refill of water. Go to the original in LA. get dressed up. Not worth it here. Tables stayed dirty and had to ask for a set up. Eggs were falling apart and the meatloaf was tasty but the potatoes were dry.
Two entree’s we tried to order were out. What we did order arrived cold. Service was terrible. We looked forward to eating here but we will never return.
Love everything about the Edison♥️
We sat outside and had a great drink, impossible burger and fries. Our server was also vegan and was super helpful. Love the Edison.
First the design of the place. Just freaking amazing! You walk in and feel like you’re in a steampunk era. Everything looks so beautiful and real.
Then you have the music and live band. We felt like we were in the great gatsby. Every song, every note was heaven to our ears.
Dancing was so much fun. The lighting and space was perfect.
They had a magician which was so cool! I’ve never seen one in person just on tv and YouTube and this guys was doing tricks I’ve never seen before. I could not figure out how he did the tricks!
As for seating we got a table for two right next to the DJ on the second floor facing the stage and dance floor. It was perfect view of everything going on.
Our waiter was fantastic, very conversational and attentive.
The food was delicious. I like the fact that the dinner menu doesn’t have 30 different options that are overwhelming to choose from. Very simple and the price is not bad for the pocket.
Last but not least... the burlesque show! It was my first time seeing one. So amazing. The dancers were so great, and was honestly best dancing I’ve seen in person. Their outfits were extremely sexy but classy. but not too reveling so it left room to the imagination. I’ve heard that there are full nude shows and other places but to be honest, them not being nude was perfect. Just so much more fun and again classy.
It’s hard for me to pick a favorite part of the evening since there were so many. If you find yourself in Orlando then this is a must go to restaurant period.
The shows are Friday’s and Saturday nights and start at 9:30pm also its reservation only during that time and it will get busy so be early. There was a table there with people that were hanging out for over 4hrs!
Hope all this info helps and sorry for the long read :)
Food was nice , had the chopped salad and fried chicken, both were tasty. Our server was polite and accommodating
but the entertainment was boring. We wanted to dance and party for our anniversary to a live and but instead they had a 3 piece combo playing boring wedding band Frank Sinatra type music . Not cool for a Saturday night at Disney World. The female Singer was terrible and stood there like a dead fish with no stage presence. We left before desert and went to party at a more lively place. I was told that later there would be an arial acrobat but was no way I could listen to that awful band any more.
Terrible service although food and entertainment were better. Definitely would not recommend for the price. Bad service is the worat
We had a good waiter and enjoyed the new experience. The food was very good too. We especially liked and recommend the Bacon appetizer. It was delicious and fun in presentation. However, I must say we were disappointed at the lack of ambiance. We were seated with several other families on the first floor close to a stage, but we never say any entertainment of any kind except maybe a stilt walker that didn't really spend any time inside the restaurant. We were expecting something more spectacular like at The Edison in California.
For Disney, I feel this venue could have done a lot better. Maybe have a magician walking around doing simple tricks. Or even someone dressed up and in character going from table to table telling jokes. I'd say with what I saw, this Edison at Disney Springs is geared more to the bar scene and not family. A bit disappointing. But the food was great!
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. (Lunch at 3:15 on a Saturday) We had read mixed reviews but were really excited about their menu. Our server was courteous, attentive, and friendly. He was quick to ask if we needed anything. We ordered the following: deviled eggs and candied bacon for apps. The Edison burger for our meal. All three were were delicious. We would get them all again with out hesitation. If The Edison is on your radar give it a try.
Took my wife and a family member for a birthday occasion, had a reservation and indicated the occasion in the comments as requested. Seating was 20min later than our reservation, service was good, but hurried. Server was great at making recommendations for our orders, but we felt hurried to finish up. Food was good, but the meatloaf was bland. No acknowledgment of our reason for celebrating was made. We had good seating and enjoyed the band and dancing. The menus were worn and some pages dirty, strange to see in a fairly new restaurant. Was a good night out, but will go elsewhere next time.
The food was fantastic and our server (John) with over 20 years of experience was a master of his craft. He handled our table deftly and offered excellent selections and even helped with some special intolerances we had that needed to be addressed. The ambience and the environment of this place really makes it a special evening out and the excellent food and drinks adds to the evening.
In reading about The Edison, I was expecting an "experience", some form of entertainment. Not sure what that was supposed to be. Maybe the tvs playing old movie clips, cartoons, etc??? Food was okay, nothing phenomenal. Candied bacon was good, boiled eggs were pretty good too, even if not a great deal of seasoning. Boys said their burgers were really good. My husband enjoyed his prime rib. We had the mac and cheese, probably wouldn't order it again. It was okay for just a restaurant, but I wouldn't call it "an experience."
Everything from the service to the food was fantastic!
Overpriced and poor food quality. Very touristy
We went to the Edfieon after dinner so we can’t review the food beside it looking spectacular.
We have an amazing waiter that when I wanted something chocolate but they were all out of their chocolate cake found a way to make me hot chocolate. My husband relaxed with a few drinks while we were there for the show. There was a walk way in between us and the main stage area which filled up very quickly when the dancers came on. That was pretty disappointing as it made it hard to see from our table. I will definitely go again but really want to sit upstairs overlooking the performance it’s a bit quieter upstairs and really hard for someone to step into your site line. There are also screens throughout the venue so if you aren’t sitting beside the performance you can still see it on the screen which I thought was pretty thoughtful.
The atmosphere and service was wonderful. Definitely worth going to for drinks and catching the live acts. The band was outstanding and we loved the flapper girls. The food however was sub-par. Personally, I found the dinner selection boring and lacking any creativity. If I wanted to get a burger or a chicken sandwich, I would have gone somewhere less high-end. Seems like the food was an after thought because it did not fit the overall vibe of the restaurant.
While we were seated promptly, our first table was a small two top next to a large party in the corner. It wasn’t even set and felt like it had just been thrown in the corner.
After being sat at a high top away from the stage, we enjoyed a nice drink and then felt rushed to place a food order. At this point, we decided to leave.
While this maybe a great venue for families with a slightly more adult atmosphere for them, for adults without kids, it really misses the mark.
From Maria to the amazing Jerry and finally Anastasia...5 stars. The band was awesome. Totally recommend. Thank you guys we had so much fun.
The food was great. The design and theme was really cool steam punk. At 10 the music and dancing show was a perfect fit
Service was slow and inattentive. Food is mediocre and overpriced. Cocktails are great. Just go for drinks and eat somewhere else.
I was in town for Disney and wanted to do a nice dinner outside of the parks. The dinner we had was good and we caught the live show toward the end of dinner. It was great!
Food was good. Some items were a little pricey for what you got. $14 for 4 slices of bacon was not worth it at all. Overall good was good and atmosphere was nice.
After 10pm 21 and up! Get there before 10 to order any food. Burlesque dancers was neat, live 20s sounding music and songs. Periods of radio music. A shot fairy was cute, and all employees are dressed up in theme too. Very unique spot for the 21st century to go to
A fun, and very tasty find at Disney Springs! Live music starts at 9:30 with the live show beginning at 10. Not a good choice if you’re looking for cheap eats, but if you’re looking for a cool atmosphere with good food and fun options; this would be a good place to check out!
This trip to the Edison was our first visit. We were asked if we wanted to be outdoors or in, but this was before we saw the inside or outside options of the restaurant. Unfortunately we selected ourdoors which was dirty and there was bird crap on our table. It was quite removed from the vibe of the restaurant theme...we also were put at the end of the dining area and left for quite a while before our drinks were delivered.
Friends from out of town were visiting for the WDW Food & Wine Festival and we decided to have dinner at The Edison. We were first seated at an inside table under speakers where the volume level was painfully loud. Thanks to the server we were relocated outside to the patio on the water. That change made for a very pleasant experience. Our outside server was Fernando. He was helpful and attentive without being invasive. Food was outstanding! We will be back.
The Edison has an amazing atmosphere. It is old timey, yet modern. The design is beautiful and the food is incredible. The prime rib is my favorite.
Family in town
Slow service. Not all menu items available. Order incorrect. Cool vibe but otherwise a miss.
The food was mediocre at a high, "typical Disney" price. Both of our meals were not served as described on the menu. Because of that, one of the items had to be sent back due to a food allergy. A sandwich and a salad took about 40 minutes to serve, even though they weren't very busy at a late lunch time. The sandwich had tomatoes - not listed on the menu - and was missing the chunky avocado that was listed on the menu. The salad had cucumbers & onion straws - both not on the menu. They tried to compensate by bringing us free dessert, but we aren't big sugar people so that didn't thrill us. It's an assumption a lot of restaurants make. We tried the chocolate cake which seemed like it had been frozen a long time. It said it had layers of mousse, but they were more like fudge, not at all fluffy - mousse is fluffy. The ambiance was cool and the cocktail we ordered was tasty.
Birthday, sadly not recognized
Good food. Great show. Lots of fun. Not suitable for young kids
food was great, service was a bit slow. but we had a ball
Absolutely loved this place. Awesome live entertainment. 1920's style band, flappers walking around, tap dancer. Dancing, food, and drinks - I had blast.
Lunch is good family time, but I had the most fun after 10pm.
21 and over after 10pm.
I went to The Edison in downtown Los Angeles and thought it was the coolest place, so when I saw the Disney location opening I was really excited. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great and I'll probably never go back. We booked a reservation for my father in law's birthday, and put that we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation. We were seated in the bar area where there was constant foot traffic and chaos around us, but the live entertainment wasn't going to start for hours. This is where you seat people for special occasions? The food was good but pricey, service wasn't good enough to win me over. We left just feeling "meh" about the whole experience and got dessert somewhere else. Maybe the 10pm and later experience is better, but not worth it before then.
It was great, performances and dinner alike!
Food was great and entertainment was awesome. We had an absolute blast!
We made a last minute decision on The Edison and were glad we choose to have dinner here. They jave a very unusual menu not bad food (actually very delicious) just strange menu. You have to try the candied bacon as an appetizer best choice for app in my opinion. As for a drink the strange brew sounded really well strange but was fantastic recommended by Graham who was our server he was very effecient and knew his stuff and very funny and witty. Definitely a stop back when we return to Disney Springs
The atmosphere was great, the food was great, the live entertainment was amazing. The only bad thing that I have to say about this place is the waiter that took care of me and my family was absolutely terrible. He was very rude, rushing us when we were going to order, mind you it was our first time visiting this restaurant. He disappeared for about an hour after our food was brought to the table, we did not get any refills for our drinks. Overall the experience was okay, I would recommend because of the food and entertainment but I was not very pleased with the service.
