Loved the food and the live music!
The Edison was a great experience! Staff was great! The food was amazing! The Impossible Burger is incredible! Will definitely visit again!!!
Loved The Edison. I am a huge fan of industrial and Steampunk so the decor made me happy. Food was fantastic. The server was lovely and informative. I like that she was familiar with the food items. The only thing that was odd was that the table that we sat at seemed too small for a party of four. With appetizers plus four meals, waters and wine and beer, the table was just not big enough. Otherwise, we enjoyed the evening. We will return.
We were greeted by a character at the entrance and our waitress was really gentle.
Great food, expensive but like all restaurants these days in Disney, service could have been a bit quicker, second glass of wine arriving 15 minutes and arriving just before my desert is a bit poor..
Ran out of many of the things we wanted to order. Our second choices were pretty good.
Loved the atmosphere, VERY accommodating, GREAT staff, food was very delicious but rather pricey (even for Disney Springs area). Would only go back for very special occasions and not with the kiddos (only cause I wouldn't be able to afford the bill).
A great place to go after 10 pm and have drinks and enjoy the great music and awesome atmosphere! This however is not a place to have dinner. The service isn't good or very courteous. The food is way over priced for what you get. If you are going to pay $22-24 for a hamburger and fries you expect it to be out of this world. They do not hold up their side of the bargain. They expect top dollar and in return give you okay food and at best adequate service. I highly recommend for an after hours place to have drinks but strongly discourage any more than that. Eat somewhere else and then stop in for drinks is my recommendation.
Awesome space! Small but great menu. Terrific knowledgeable server. Everything was wonderful. The quirkiness of the venue was really fun.
Great food and atmosphere!! Friendly staff and if you go later, live music. :)
Very cool restaurant however food was not worth the price.
Loved it!!! The set was quick and show excellent. I do wish they play songs me spanish. Enjoyed every minute
Environment and ambience are fantastic, creative steampunk decor and the names of the dishes are reflective of the decor. Definitely try to Electri-fries as a sharing appy. Also, the DB 'Clothesline Candied Bacon' appy is the most creatively served appy I've ever ordered. Thank you to Emily for the great service.
We went for Mother’s day has a great table right next to the stage so we got to see the live band when they were playing. The music was great and the service was awesome are server was super attentive. The only “negative” I can find is that the food & drinks are overpriced. We would go like once in a year. It looks like a cool place to go out for a night of fun and dancing but you need to have a lot of money to be able to do that. For the middle working class. It was a nice occasion but I don’t think we will be back to eat. Other than that, what a great themed bar!!
I typically do not get involved with reviews, but making an exception here. We chose The Edison at Disney Springs as our venue for an early evening Mother's Day dinner and could not have been more disappointed with both the food and the service (overrated, overpriced, poor quality, lackluster service). The restaurant was not overly busy due to inclement weather; nevertheless, our drinks tasted watered down (Manhattan prepared properly, but left to sit w/bartender way too long before bringing them to us), both bacon appetizers and meatloaf entrees arrived cold (which we sent back to the kitchen), as well as the server's suggested replacement entree, The Edison burger, which also arrived less than warm but we ate anyway bc we were beyond hungry at this point. All of the above menu items are their signature items, and not special order items, btw. Sadly, also, our server although kind, was less than attentive through it all (disappeared for long stretches of time yet continued to serve the table cold food). I'm sorry, but three strikes and you're out. This certainly was not what we had hoped for on Mother's Day from a Disney venue touted to be one of the better Disney Springs experiences.
Service started out slow as it took 25 mins to get our drinks. Seated us by a ordering station which had people disturbing us continuously. Food for the most part was good. Too much noise.
Waited 45 mins past our reservation time to be seated. Food order was wrong and cold. Manager did a great job at taking responsibility, but it was one thing after another. Cool spot. Will probably give it one more try.
Service was extremely slow
Visited The Edison for Mother's Day with my wife and son. Really nice ambiance and interestingly decorated. We were there at lunchtime so noise level was not really an issue. Food was really quite good and service was very good. As others have pointed out, the candied bacon is a "must"! Server was attentive without being obtrusive. Will definitely go again.
We had a great time the first time we came. Entertainment was great, food was great, service was great. Second time came for Mother’s Day and was disappointed by only having dinner menu available. Service was slow and food was nothing special. No entertainment either. Was a very different experience, not sure I’ll be back.
Food was so over priced! Totally disappointed by food and drinks. Ordered the first of May rum drink for mother's day only to return it as it was curdling from whatever they put in the drink itself and the "whipped cream" they smushed in the glass. Wedge salad was lacking dressing and was all chopped up, not resembling a wedge at all. Electri-fries, there were a ton of them, but just weren't for our group at all.. ambiance was very cool, but our daughter hated the creepy videos they played on all of the TV's. Overall for the price, very slow service and the quality of the food, we will not be going back.
One of Disney's key focuses is on 'show,' which is one of the reasons I love it there. Unfortunately, the Edison did not hold true to this key. The Edison is supposed to be a 1920s themed restaurant, which it is for the most part. However, once the live music started they did one set of appropriate music and then as the night went on they started moving into more modern music and the feel of the restaurant became more like any club. It really ruined the ambiance and experience I was hoping to get. If I wanted that type of experience I certainly wouldn't pay the bar prices at the Edison for it. So much potential, but I'm left very disappointment.
They seated us outside with only one waiter for the entire patio. Service was awful. They brought out my wife's steak and it was the thinnest strip steak I have ever seen and very over cooked. Very expensive meal for very little value. I would not return. Thought Disney would be on their game. Not so with this place
The ambience was unusual but not outstanding. Almost felt unfinished. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Service time was very reasonable to quick.
Our food arrived serving temperature hot and was tasty. The drinks were nicely made.
We definitely did not encounter any of the negative issues that other reviews noted.
However, this location is probably not on our repeat list. The menu is pricey even for Disney , and the overall feel of the location didn’t warrant it.
Made a reservation, to only be told they are running 15-20 mins behind, which turned into 30mins. To then sit at the top where you can’t see the show, however where you can see the show is first come first serve to be seated. Has loads of tvs that only play cartoons or old shows on instead of a live broadcast of the actual show that you can’t see. So be sure you tell the hostess to sit you at the bottom if you come to see the show.
The band was fantastic and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant for a unique date night.
Nice ambience, not a very extensive menu, but interesting enough. Service was very friendly and good, but there was a bit of a wait for the food. Once it arrived, it was very good. Better than one would expect in a tourist destination. Definitely recommend the bacon appetizer and the box of balls. Very tasty. Just make sure not to be in a hurry, but that is part of the charm. Slow down and relax, enjoy the atmosphere and ambience, relax.
Very limited menu. Food upon arrival was lukewarm at best. I know it’s a resort area so they feel they have a captive audience which to some extent is true. I would probably not eat more than a snack at Disney Springs again.
Bacon on a Clothesline was outstanding. The grilled cheese was huge and delicious!
Must try the BACON!
Undercooked and overpriced. Incredibly disappointing
We had no wait time when we checked in for our reservation. The food was delicious and came promptly.
Very disappointed in food for price. Crab cake was excellent. Prime Rib tough. Meat loaf lacking flavor. Would not dine there again.
Food is overpriced and not very good! My steak was too tough to eat. Other portions were very small! The deviled eggs were good but other than that the food was awful!
I celebrated my birthday their and it was great! I loved the live band and night entertainment started around 9:30pm. The food was great and Rocky road desert is sinful!
The food was good as were the drinks and the band was AMAZING!
We wanted to try this out since it opened. Limited menu but enough to appeal to most palates. My husband ordered the burger & I got the salmon. Both were enjoyable but nothing exceptional about our experience. The decor is interesting & certainly entertaining. Go try it out for yourself.
My wife and I don’t get out very much so usually everywhere we go is a great time. This time however, we were somewhat disappointed. The ambiance was exactly what we expected. Very authentic, time relative theme. Very cool setting. The food however did not live up to the hype. Especially for the price. I ordered the Tuna Poke, mushroom side dish and the wife got the bbq ribs. The poke had a good bit of tuna in it however there was so much pineapple in it it tasted like a fruit salad. The mushrooms came in a pot pressumeably fresh off the stove top. They were tasteless. Literally as if they threw a bunch of mushrooms in a pot and boiled them. I didn’t find the ribs too bad. A little sweet but good.
The wait staff was pleasant and nice but seemed very busy so No complaints there.
I probably won’t be going there again but it’s worth at least 1 trip to experience the ambiance.
