Lovely space, comfortable atmosphere. Service was very good. Salad was OK but frankly a bit dry and lacked flavor beyond the beats. Hopefully better next time.

Atmosphere and decor very nice. Food excellent. However, they were "out of" a number of things. The dessert menu contained one selection that they no longer make. It sounded like the best item on the list! The desert menu was a simple piece of paper about 6 x 6 inches. If they no longer make the dessert, not sure why they don't spend the $15.00 to print new pieces of paper with the proper selections on it instead of teasing us. Aside from this seemingly foolish oversight, everything was very good and we'll be back.

When we arrived we met at the bar and had a drink before sitting at the table. this part of our experience was enjoyable. Our dining experience was not as positive. Our server was not very knowledgable of the menu and food preparation. Her attention to us was poor.

Why don't you have a soup of the day? Why don't you have better french fries? Why is your BLT so boring? White bread? C'mon. Why do I have to ask for lemon for my iced tea? Really, you need a better lunch menu. It's kind of depressing to eat lunch at Edison because there are so few other diners. Won't be back. (This was my third time there.)

Excellent food! Loved the lobster buns and the flourless chocolate cake. Isaac was a top notch server. Overall a great experience. I will be back!

First time at The Edison was great. The ambiance, drinks, food and service were wonderful. The appetizer, Nana's Meatballs, were a treat. The Pinot and The Edison Old Fashioned were very tasty. The beet salad and scallops were enjoyed my wife and I. And our server, Isaac, was pulling double duty as the bartender and was a wonderful and engaging server. We will be back to taste all the other menu items.

What a beautiful space with exquisite leather and velvet seating. The team invested a lot on making this an impressive and thoughtful dining experience. We enjoyed brunch (with Dizzy Gillespie gracing our ears!) and will return soon for dinner. The tempura shallot starter is truly unique and shouldn’t be missed. Our server was really on point with pacing.

This was our first time to visit The Edison. We loved the decor and ambience. Our dinners are drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. The bar area looked very inviting and we will definitely be returning!

My husband and I dined here for the first time tonight. The food was really great quality and fresh. The portions of the main dishes were good as were the side dishes. The service was excellent. Overall great experience.

We did not have a good experience. The food was not very good. We ordered a shrimp cocktail but the shrimp was mealy and sitting in a mustard sauce. The scallops were barely seared and not firm and the martini was served in a very small glass, not a martini glass. Very disappointing.

We had a reservation on a busy night and enjoyed cocktails, an app, and 3 entrees. The service was great, cocktails were tasty, and the food was amazing. Lots of menu options to accommodate special diets. My only minor complaint was that the service was a little too rushed as we were there to have a leisurely time but it's certainly better than the alternative.

Dominique was our server and was an excellent server. Parker house rolls were great as was the cau lol flower steak. We liked the old- fashions too.

I've eaten at The Edison several times and now brought a friend for a birthday lunch. Unfortunately our initial meal choice was returned. The skirt steak was not sliced properly and thus all we received in the sandwich were slices of tendon without any chewable meat. If you serve skirt steak, it requires attention to detail. Appreciated the offer of another choice but it diminished the experience.

We celebrated my best friend’s engagement this morning and had the best service! Everyone was so happy for her and our server was almost in tears because she was just as happy! 10/10 would recommend the Edison to anyone looking for an outstanding meal and fantastic service!

The physical space of the restaurant is lovely. The service was fine, but not friendly. My friend and I both ordered the Caesar salad and for the dinner entre, the scallops. The salad was marginal-lots of fresh greens but I could not taste a dressing. The scallops were so salty that the flavor was ruined. The scallops were on top of a butternut squash risotto, which tasted like paste with too much salt. I want this restaurant to succeed but there are so many restaurants in Milwaukee that serve excellent food, that I hope The Edison heeds the comments and makes some changes.

They just switched over their menu and I had the salmon. It was amazing! My server Sam was very good. She recommended a drink called Birds of Paradise that was delicious. My third time there and each time it gets better.

We both ordered the filet. The char on the steaks was so good. Perfect. I've never had a char like that before. I can't wait to order this same meal again! Service was good when we initially sat down and order the Shrimp Cocktail. Then it slowed down. Especially after the filets, we sat there for 20 minutes looking around for our waitress. The food was so good that, of course, we'll be back.

Overall a terrible experience. The server was cold and uninterested. She never checked back or cleared dishes. Check was given without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee on a table full of dirty dishes. We had someone join us after we ordered. She was never offered a drink or asked if she wanted to order. Food quality was poor. The burger was dry. Ive had better at McDonalds. Risotto was bland. The wedge salad was good. It had a really nice dressing. It’s too bad the space is beautiful and in a great location.

I was excited to try this new cute place for a bday lunch. I will go back for cocktail for sure. We are frittatas, they were pretty good, slightly dry and not too much flavor. Not bad. Probably wouldn’t order again. Service excellent and drinks yummy. Overall a good spot !

We had a great time at brunch at The Edison on Saturday. The decor and design is really well done. We were in the third ward that day wedding dress shopping for my sister, and the manager treated us to glasses of champagne when we were seated, which was so kind. We ordered lattes and food. The salmon had an awesome yuzu sauce. The frittata was good- liked the vegetables included and dressed greens on top, but it was missing a punch of something acidic or spicy. We got the potatoes on as a side and the black garlic aioli was delicious, definitely did not leave any of that behind! Service was great. We'd love to come back for dinner some time.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend on a Friday night, and it was awesome. The food was really good. I had the lobster, and she had the scallops. And we had mushroom casserole as a side. Alex was our server, and he did great. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Location is perfect too, but parking can be tricky on the weekends.

Great new place in the Third Ward. Very well appointed, good service, interesting menu of the conventional and novel (such as Lobster fingers), and nice wine selections. We had the rainbow trout special and the whole branzino- both were fantastic!
