   My wife and I had dinner at the Echuca Hotel on April 9. The meal was nice. Suggestions would be to be able to pay for meals and drinks together, rather than at separate registers, and to have a choice of parmas for parma night rather than one option.

   Great steaks at reasonable prices, other items sounded and looked yummy but we were all looking to have a steak tonight. Nice casual vibe with inside or outside dining. Big screen TV for sports Will come back definitely.

   Generally, a good pub. I was very disappointed with the steak, I ordered 400g Scotch Fillet and received a piece of meat that was certainly not Scotch Fillet more like a Porterhouse cut. Although not chef's people generally know the difference in steaks. Bad on them for just serving up what they had without letting the customer know or offering other options. Plenty of other pubs in town with Tank Beer and Great Steaks. Won't be rushing back to the Echuca Hotel.

   Staff were friendly, very helpful we bought our own cake and they bought us out a knife and some plates. Food was delicious and very filling.

   We did attend during holidays and it was very busy which we understand, but service was still terrible. Upon ordering, I was told our meals would be approx 25mins. I ordered one entree and 2 mains. After about 55 mins and no meals, I enquired and at this time as our main meals did arrived, but then our entree arrived after our main meals. We were told it wasn't entered as an entree. It was a really disappointing evening. I believe the hotel should have anticipated crowds and had enough kitchen/floor staff to cover their busy periods. The quality and taste of our meals were standard but not great enough to make us return.

   The music was too loud in the dining area. The food was nothing special. The drinks were a bit flat in plastic cups.

    Always a really nice place to go. Spotlessly clean, courteous and friendly staff, fresh food and cold drinks.
