   Our server Sophia was very nice and quick, great service! Will ask for her again next time we go! Food was delicious and hot.

   The Eagle never disappoints. The food was good. The service was a little slow for us to be the only group.

   I think the wait staff that we interacted with was new and unsure of a few things. There were long stretches that we did not see any one come check on our table. Also no honey sauce was served with chicken and with long time between visits from wait staff made the meal less than what it could have been. Food and Drink was great overall. Great selections of both and loved everything we had as far as food and drink.

   We had a large group and were basically given our own room which was wonderful. Food was outstanding.

   Dined here 02/15/2025. Never been to a two-story at the Eagle. The host was very friendly. I wished he was our waiter. Upstairs is huge either way a “party room” of sorts. BBQ pork burnt ends were dry and tough even with the sauce. Chicken was over overcooked and dry. Never have experienced bad food. We asked for to-go boxes and he brought us small ones and two plastic containers for sides. Asked for a third container for another side. I had for a small black plastic container of jam to take home. He brought an empty container so I scraped what jam I had left about 1/8 tsp. I poured a bit of honey on the chicken thinking he was going to irritated at having to get another container. We have been to The Eagle out of Ohio and another in Ohio. The two we frequent the servers anticipate the size of boxes related to the amount of food you have not eaten and give you extra containers with jam and honey, and the servers were always smiling. You could not tell they were having a bad day. Overall, we will not return to the Columbus restaurant although it might be okay for a large group in the party room. Still, we would prefer the other restaurants where they did accommodate our large groups before.
