Best fried chicken ever. Their mac and cheese is to die for. Highly recommend the sausage and kale dip app. Waitress was phenomenal and took great care of us.

This place is probably good when no Covid restrictions are in place. Food was okay but not great. I would give it another shot.

The "snacks" were nice, especially the the sausage and kale dip. The Chicken BLT was good but a little too spicy. The succotash and biscuits were the best sides.

Had dinner with another couple. The food was very good. Paid with their online app, which was very convenient.

The food and ambiance were really good. Even though I thought the sandwiches were a little overpriced considering no sides are included, I would dine there again.

I have been twice in the last month, and both times the food was delicious and fresh. The service was great both times as well, and the ambience is neat, which is hard to find right now from Covid restrictions. Definitely recommend!

Loved the fried chicken!! It’s on our list to return to. Chicken is crispy and juicy. Love the hot honey. Kale and sausage dip was really good. Fries were great with a sauce. Don’t skip the Mac n cheese!! Yum. Nice Bloody Mary and the best sweet tea we’ve had. Server was good but not very engaging. Not sure if there is a dessert menu

The customer service is incredible. Our food was running a little behind and the manager took great care of us. The food was fantastic and so was the server!

I was disappointed in our food , our waiter was great. They had a large group with small children sit right next to our table and they had a child that was crying real loud for about 15-20 mins .

Delicious! Our food came out quickly and was perfect. Our server was attentive and nice, and was really sweet to our 3 year old, which we really appreciate. The hush puppies are a great starter, so delicious and just a hint of spice. I got the fried chicken BLT and my husband got the fried chicken sandwich and they were so good. The chicken was still crispy even with the toppings. We love this place!

The chicken was decent but didn't meet the hype I had heard from others. The sides we tried were unique and tasty. My wife ordered a blackberry lemonade cocktail and it was very good.

Service was great, food was meh. Ordered a whole chicken, because it's a chicken house, overall it wasn't bad. The chicken has a little too much going on with the spices and it was the same case with the sides. Not a fan of radish mashed potatoes, fries were fries, mac and cheese was solid. Prices were a little on the high side, but what isn't right now. I am in desperate need for a goto fried chicken place and this doesn't live up to the hype.

Other than being extremely, uncomfortably cold in the restaurant, we loved it. We will be back in the spring/summer, but not until.

This was my first time coming to the eagle and just from the name of the place I knew it was going to be great. The food was outstanding and the waitress I had was down right awesome at her job! Hands down to The Eagle for being such a great place to chill, and just relax to watch some games. My Valentine’s Day was perfect!

Best BLT Fried Chicken sandwich I ever had in my life!!

The Eagle is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Excellent fried chicken and other southern classics. Good beer and liquor available with blues/rock music for ambiance.

Come here all the time and it never disappoints!! Food was amazing as always. The new Maple Bacon Old Fashioned was phenomenal. Service on point as always. Staff always winners.

Always so good. 4 of us met for dinner. They had great adherence to Covid protocols.

We ordered 1/2 chicken, 1/4 dark, kale salad with fried chicken, kale salad with shrimp. All were well prepared. The hot honey is soooo good.

Sides: grits - some of the best I've ever eaten. Succotash - modern twist on a southern staple - so yummy. Can't go wrong with the mashed potatoes.

The service was good. Can't imagine how hard it is to get and keep good servers right now. Glad The Eagle is able to be open and keep providing amazing food and great service.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and good food. Fried chicken excellent and sides were good, just a few of the amenities were so-so (jam and honey-butter) and appetizer ( sausage/kale queso) was not my favorite. But we will definitely come back.

We always make reservations at The Eagle when we come to visit our son at Bellarmine University. It is nice to be able to reserve a table and get right in. The food was excellent. I had the quarter white meat chicken and the half chopped salad, my husband had the half chicken and spoon bread, and our son had the chicken sandwich and Mac and Cheese. All was delicious and the salad was one of the best I have ever had! Their hush puppies are also to die for. We will definitely be back!

Never have had a bad experience here! The workers are always super nice and helpful. We were seated right away and got our food in a timely manner. The food was also outstanding! Will definitely be back.

As an escape from Chicago, we ventured down to Louisville and found this gem. Patrick took great care of us and I haven’t had fried chicken this good since Al-Baik in Saudi Arabia. My husband and I couldn’t finish the whole chicken we ordered, but I’m actually glad because it means we can enjoy it again tomorrow. Highly recommend! 🐔
