   Loved the starter nid everything else was better then expected. Very pleased with everything.

   This is one of those finds that you really feel like downgrading your review for fear of it becoming to popular and not being able to get a table ever again. The atmosphere is highly conducive to conversation, no loud music, even when sitting under the speaker. The food is seasonal so there is not a vast array of food choices to confuse and the Chef has the most balanced pallet. I had three courses and did not feel bloated or over fed. The wine by the glass is a good quality wine and can be matched to the menu. The bottom line is that, we loved it so much we went back within a couple of days and it was equally as good. We will be back again.

   Sadly we were very disappointed after reading great reviews and our to celebrate my 60th birthday. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant and friendly. The starters were good however the few locals in were very loud and intrusive and seemed unaware of us as diners. We both had lamb stew which was poor quality and the chunks of meat and veg were too big to eat without cutting up which was difficult in a small casserole dish. It was also far too salty. A very disappointing evening .

   Pleasantly surprised, the level of cooking is to a high standard as is the service. I would recommend this to people looking for a decent, affordable meal out.

   Fantastic Sunday lunch for a family of four. Food was excellent - more expensive than others but the quality of the food made up for that. Service was also excellent giving sufficient time to order whilst delivery was prompt. Highly recommended.

    The menu was a good choice for Sunday lunch. The preparation of the food was excellent. We had 3 different starters between us, which everyone enjoyed. The roast beef was a delight, still very pink and full of flavour.
