Nice interior, very fresh and good seafood. Possible to sit outside. Had lunch there and it was quiet and relaxing. Would like to go back.
We had lunch at the Dutch and it was wonderful. I had the burger and it was of course delicious. My mom loved her beet salad and it was beautifully decorated. Inside the W it’s fun to wander around and get out of the heat! Definitely a good spot if you’re visiting.
The Dutch Miami was an entirely pleasurable experience. we were seated promptly at 6:30 outside in a lovely quiet oasis under basket weaved lights. The service was attentive and friendly. We had a caesar salad and deviled eggs to start- which both were delicious. The salad was a generous portion. I had the house fish in a coconut milk sauce with mango salsa. Amazing. My daughter had the hangar steak and rice which had a fried egg on top. She loved it. My other daughter had the roasted chicken which she said was delicious. We highly recommend The Dutch Miami!
This restaurant is in the W Hotel. If you like pretentious, overpriced and ostentatious places, this is your place. The staff seem more interested in gossiping and whispering than remembering that you ordered bread for the third time. The food is fine. The cocktails are fine. The prices are what you expect from South Beach. I left feeling like I wasn’t good looking enough or that important, not to be repeated .
Great menu and beautiful restaurant. We especially enjoyed being outside in the garden in beautiful weather.
Good food, good service. Ambiance oké, music a bit to loud. Music from other area way to loud...
The red snapper was just amazing, while pork chops sounded original and was good but not overly special.
Because it’s in the W Hotel, the what is suppose to be sexy SoBe chic atmosphere, is really tables filled with families and screaming young babies & toddles. Def, not a date night spot, but the food is always good.
Music playing in the pool area or nightclub clashes with music playing on the outdoor dining terrace which totally is a different music than what is playing inside the restaurant. It didn’t make any sense. The food was pretty good. But the offering was not like Mr. Carmemelli’s other NYC locations. Somewhat disappointed.
If you can get past the fact the The Dutch adds a sky-high 20% service charge on to your bill, the food is reasonably good, although the menu is not as extensive as advertised online. Do try to eat outside because it is quite charming and the interior isn’t. The 20% only gets you lackluster service.
Good Our server was great but I feel like the menu needs some teams
The food was delicious and the service was on point! The miso snapper was incredible
We have been to the Dutch on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. The service and food was excellent. I dont understand how some diners equate a full restaurant or lack of with a lack of ambiance. It is a beautifully decorated space. There are plenty of Hip restaurants on the beach that are crowded with mediocre food and service. If looking for a great place to have dinner and relax the Dutch is a good choice.
Food was not great, tasted quite bland and service wasn’t very polished. Very overpriced for the quality and small portions. Restaurant was very quiet so no real ambience. We were finished within 45 minutes! Only plus point was the Oysters in Happy Hour.
Very nice people and great food! Nice ambiance too!
Great choice for Miami Beach.
Great oysters. Terrific service. Wonderful evening outside on the terrace.
The atmosphere and service was the best. The food was good but nothing exceptional.
Great burger! Great atmosphere!
Nothing special .... service was bad the place was empty
Menù molto poco assortito. Qualità però buona. Se ci dovessi andare una seconda volta non saprei cosa prendere.
Amazing in all aspects.
A friend had recommended The Dutch, but think he hadn't been there for a while. We were looking for a nice fun place to go out on a Friday night. The place was dead, unexpected for a W Hotel restaurant. Two other tables had guests.
The food was just ok. From the house cornbread to the pork chop, just a little disappointing.
Underwhelming. Everything. Food, atmosphere. Wine and service was decent.
The service was painfully slow. With the automatic 20% gratuity added at the end I don’t see an incentive for the service to be any quicker, which was evident when we ate. 15 minutes to get a sparkling water and 45 minutes for two lunch entrées. Eating out on the patio was nice and without that I think we would have left halfway through the service.
Good service, good food, reliable.
I use this restaurant as a regular go to for dinner.
Thanksgiving dinner. Although not being very busy, the service was a rush. After being served the cocktail aperitif, the main course came within a few minutes, which did not gave us much time to enjoy the aperitifs. All in all, we were done and outside the restaurant within an hour.
Food was good. Atmosphere is nice
Wait staff was almost too attentive. It was early on Thanksgiving and we felt rushed. My $55 Turkey day meam ended up costing 90.00. No alcohol, only iced tea and cofee.
My partner ordered hardshell crabs that were $32 a pound. When it came it was about 5 inches in length and was not a pound. She had to order two for $64 that was barely a half a pound. It was probably her fault that she ordered something like stone crabs as a main course at a restaurant like Dutch as they’re known for their meals and sauces. However that price was exorbitant but The rest was as I had stated. My piece of fish was excellent.
We have been to lunch at the Dutch many times and have always had a great experience, great food, service and cocktails. Things seemed a bit off on our first time there for dinner. The blackberry bramble cocktail wasn’t as good as usual and my wife’s snapper main course was not good at all, not much taste, not cohesive. My hanger steak was superb as usual, so at least I was happy which is most important. The restaurant is very pretty and the outside dining a pleasure on a nice night. So it goes. Regards. Ned.
There was NOT an abundance of choices and for a place to have lunch within a hotel I would have much preferred room service. There was one salad, no sandwiches one fruit and vegetable. Tho only decent plate was the pizza
Was looking for late night dinner and The Dutch came up. So happy I decided on it! Lived here 5 years but was my first time and I will definitely return. Was greeted by Tony and in such a warm, welcoming & professional manner. I was so impressed with him. He made the dinner that much better. The bartender was great as well. So sweet and her service was the best I’ve found on the beach in awhile. The beet salad, chicken and brussel sprouts were delicious! Great wine list but it was Tony and the bartender that made night. Thank you !!!
Thank you so much for celebrating our honeymoon. We love W Miami and will come back.
The restaurant is tucked into the W Hotel @ 22nd Street and Collins. Enter street side.
We were seated in a patio/garden area, which was absolutely lovely. The staff was courteous and polite. Our food was AMAZING, we expect nothing less from AC. However our service was a little slow, and our server frequently had to be reminded of menial requests like a club soda or a glass of ice. We felt as though we had to initiate some steps of service. Regardless, it wasn’t enough to ruin our experience in any way and we would gladly return. We love the Dutch in NYC and now we love it in Miami!
The place was really empty... 10 pm Saturday night.
Menu is on the short side, food is good but doesn't justify the price range.
Very good service.
My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner late (9:15PM) on a Wednesday. We were sat immediately, and our waiter was extremely attentive. The drinks were delicious, and the appetizers we had (grilled octopus, eggplant dip) were delicious. The entrees (pork chop and boulaibaise) were incredible. At the end of the meal, thr chef came out anf we chatted a little (Queens in the house), and overall had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend The Dutch for the food, service, and environment.
Amazing service and food. We were very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back!
