   I've been going to the Duke William for the last 45 years. Over the years it's been run in a fair few different ways. I like the way the present owners run the pub, it has a great atmosphere. The food is good, the menu is updated throughout the year, great selection of drinks. The waiting/bar staff are all very good. It's my wife and my go to place, after a short cycle. It is slightly more expensive than some of those around it, so we tend to take the family elsewhere. We have been there for Christmas Day lunch which was always good but hasn't been open on the day, for the last couple of years. Has a lovely garden and they do do some great events. Well worth a visit!

   Booked table for 8. Easy to book, staff welcoming on arrival. Service was quick and attentive (without being pushy). Food was great (we had mixture of kids and adults meals) and price was fair. We'd definitely come back.

   Food was lovely, the pub is lovely with a lovely outside garden overlooking fields. The only thing that let it down a bit was the service - it was extremely slow, and it wasn't even busy!

   The place could do with a good clean especially floors, conservatory floors haven't been cleaned for months. Just because floor is stone slabs it doesnt mean you dont bother cleaning them.

    The service was friendly and the food was good quality, though not cheap. The only disappointment was that with the lemon sole off, battered cod and chips was the only fish on the menu, which was a bit limiting.
