Set in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside, The Duck offers a menu that brings together modern and traditional pub fare.

Our dishes are expertly prepared focussing on the finest locally sourced, seasonal ingredients ensuring a memorable dining experience for all.

With local ales and wines - the most local coming from a bijou vineyard a stones throw away from our front door - plus a Gastro pub menu focussed on the best of the season and using local ingredients - did i mention our beef comes from the cows in the field over the road? Head Chef Kyle and his formidable Kitchen team are dedicated to providing you with an unforgettable dining experience.

Just delightful, they've refurbished the pub & its quite serene & light, a lovely job, but the service, food , and total overall ambience was just amazing, the Sunday roast was plentiful & amazing, definitely a follow up visit needed.

Exceptional pub, located 10/15 minute drive outside of the Canterbury city center. It’s charming ambience is matched with exceptional service and a beer garden with a view only Kent can offer. Highly recommend the Lamb if you go.

Such a shame about the waitress serving us (pony tail & glasses) She was so unprofessional, unfriendly and had a bad attitude when asked simple questions. Fortunately for the last part we had a guy take over who was much nicer. I would have walked out at the start but hubby was hungry and wanted to give it another chance. This was our fifth visit but only second since the new owners. The bad attitude of the waitress marred the food which was fine, but a bit average this time round considering it’s not cheap. They were busy but not full at 12.45 on Sunday. We will probably go again at some point but not rushing back which is a shame.

First time at The Duck, lovely location, great vibe and greeting when walking in. Staff where happy and helpful To top it all , an amazing Sunday lunch. Definitely will return.
