This was our first time going to the Dubliner. We chose it because they were hosting Trad music on a Sunday afternoon. The location threw us at first since it was on the ground floor of an office building. However once inside it felt like an Irish Pub should. The food was very good. I wanted to have the fish and chip but decided not to when i saw that it was haddock instead of cod. So I opted for the Irish Stew which was flavorful, the beef fork tender, and a good sized serving. My wife tried the Vegetarian Shepherds Pie. She liked it. The prices here are very reasonable both for food and drinks. Service was friendly with a few minor miscues. Hostess was preoccupied with fielding phone calls at the front which caused people to wait both to be greeted and seated. Seems like there could be a better process there. Bread did not come with butter as was listed on the menu. I asked for butter but it never came to the table. The Dubliner was lively, food good, service mostly good, and it had a great atmosphere. The bar area is noisier than the back room and there is outside seating in the warmer months. We will definitely return.

I was looking for a Bruin's pre-game spot for dinner that's not too close to the Garden to avoid the hassles of parking, lines, standing room only, no seating...... This was perfect. Garage parking was a fraction of the cost of closer lots, and it was a 10 minute walk to the Garden.... a nice crisp winter walk which can easily be insulated with a serving of Jameson before leaving. Dinner was fantastic. Service was better. Request Rachel's table. ..... and the nice thing is that it's there for a great post-game gathering. I'll be back!

The Dubliner is a large Irish Pub with a lot going on. Live music, bar, tv. There is a dining in the back but you are still part of the main restaurant. And you can hear the music and people. The food was good with generous portions. I had the fish and chips and was able to substitute a vegetable for the fries. My husband had the Shepard pie which was generous and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. The service was outstanding. The chef wanted feedback on a special item, I thought that was impressive.

Perfect pub food and great cocktail/beer selection. Definitely need to get here earlier to catch the Sunday roast as it’s limited portions but the shepherds pie and beef/Guinness pie made up for it! Good music and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

The most basic and stereotypical Irish pub in a weird location. Food was extremely overpriced. I know it’s Boston but I can think of at least 3 better places to pay $18 for a cheeseburger in the city. My date’s Cesar salad was very average and the chicken was not good. It has that unseasoned “chickeny” taste. IYKYK. Would not recommend, especially considering it’s so close to Washington street and Faneuil hall food options.

Despite having reservations with a specific request to be seated in a quiet part of the restaurant (as we were on a previous visit), we were informed that area would not be available without explanation.Sadly, the area out of seating was in a very loud location which really negatively impacted our experience as we were meeting with old friends we hadn’t seen in a long time. Not likely to return to The Dubliner anytime soon.

Had to wait for a table even though I had a reservation. The back room did have plenty of seating and I was able to sit at a nice quiet window booth near a door - wonderful seat. The chowder was good but as tends to happen the mussels were a tad chewy. The sticky toffee pudding was DELICIOUS and the ice cream served with it was excellent. Looking forward to having lamb shepherds pie next time.

The fish and chips are fabulous- the skinny fries are a better inclusion rather than the larger fries. There’s a reason the Dubliner has the best reviews of this entree. The lamb Shepard’s pie was also excellent. Please carry Veuve du Vernay rose champagne. It’s the best.

Overall a pretty good and authentic Irish pub. The food was great, the atmosphere was awesome especially with the live music. No complaints overall. Food was a little bit overpriced. In my opinion. Someone who’s been to actual Irish pubs in Ireland and the UK, the pies and food should not have costed that much but I suppose when you’re not in Ireland or the UK, the food will be more expensive. Other than that Service was pretty good. Had a great time overall.

Had a full Irish on Xmas eve. Food was very nice. However, the bartender decided to indulge in his love of bad modern country music. Country music? In Boston? At an Irish pub? During Christmas? There’s a reason we live in the Northeast and didn’t travel to Texas for Christmas. To their credit, when we mentioned to our server that we felt like we were in Texas, she asked the barman to change the playlist, which he did.
