The choices for a Thanksgiving meal were so so limited. And not great. The turkey and everything on the plate was not even lukewarm. Gravy was bad. Stuffing not good. Turkey not that tasteful. I will never come here for a holiday meal like this.

I’ve eaten at the Draycot dozens of times for years and it’s usually one of my all time favorites. Last night was extremely disappointing. We sat down and were immediately told by our server that they were out of most items on the menu. They were out of all steaks, French fries, crab cakes, and fish and chips - which is what we came for. So we decided to stay and ordered the green goddess salad (which I’ve had many many times) - it was mediocre at best. We both ordered a glass of wine and the pours were so below what they should be. $22 for a glass of wine is outrageous enough but a short pour is just adding insult to injury. The manager/ server didn’t even offer to comp our drinks. I really won’t be going back which is too bad bc I was one of their biggest fans.

The ABSOLUTE WORST! If one could give MINUS STARS, that would be my choice. It begins at the front reception desk - the host acts like they care, but they really don't. The eggs benedict is served cold - so obviously it had been sitting there waiting to be taken to the table--or prepared hours before! If one asks for butter for the pancakes, you get a round hard-as-a-rock piece of lard. The coffee is cold, and the service is terrible. The server serves coffee with no inquiry of whether you need cream and/or sugar--not to mention served without a spoon. They are out of so many items -- even fries -- on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm -- really! The upholstery is ripped. There are too many nice restaurants within a two-block radius, so no reason to bother coming here and nothing is worth remembering after you write your review. And, if I failed to mention: the food is below mediocre. I could go on -- but I have a life to lead.

We had a good experience, great service and cocktails. The web site had food that was not on the core menu. We came for onion soup, but it has since been discontinued. We had pea soup, was ordered hot and came out luke warm, but the flavor and texture were nice. We had a steak that was cooked spot on, and the fries were terrific. We had brownie with gelato with ice cream for dessert and it was delicious. We will be back!

Overall we enjoyed our experience but the short staff was obvious and our waiter was doing his best to attend to several tables. The wine offerings were very limited and there was no longer a wine list offered. Lastly, the menus were worn and the ink was extremely faint and difficult to read. Our meal of steak frite and pork chop were wonderful, but I think I will give the restaurant time to get back up to speed before dining here again. This was my fourth visit so I am familiar with what they have done in the past pre-Covid. It’s a beautiful setting and great people. Just bring back the wine list, reprint the menus and perhaps some lighting on the tables. While I know you can’t magically created additional staff, a finders fee for your current staff to encourage them to find you qualified new employees could help.

Our first experience was outstanding. Marina was our server and she couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and pleasant. We will ask for her always. The bar tender made excellent riffs on traditional cocktails. The kitchen delivered beautiful, tasty dishes. The first of many future dining experiences.

The outdoor setting is lovely. We were greeted immediately upon arriving by a very enthusiastic staff member and seated immediately. Our waiter did not acknowledge us for 15 minutes. He took our martini order but it took another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We ordered immediately. Our burrata cheese and peaches was good. Maybe another 10 minutes or so go by and someone came from the kitchen to apologize that they ran out of salmon. Our meals were delivered and our waiter never came to us to see if everything was ok. My husbands fish and chips were good. My salad nicoise was inedible! I ate maybe 3 bites. We flagged down the waiter to ask for the check, he cleaned the plates and didn’t even comment on my uneaten plate.

Fantastic everything! I love the new menu! The cocktails were perfect! We ordered yummy fish and chips! Shrimp appetizer, Ceaser salads with shrimp, and Salmon. Desserts were sooooo good! Butterscotch pudding and strawberries with meringue and whipped cream. Every dish was beautifully presented and prepared. Most importantly, it was delicious! The ambiance is warm, inviting, and elegant. You feel like you’re in someone’s country estate without any stuffiness! The service was impeccable! Every accommodation was easily made, and the staff are so lovely. I can’t wait to come back!

Had dinner reservation for 2 (a ladies catch-up dinner - we are both long-time Palisadians) at 6pm on 10/7. The male host at the entrance was unfriendly, unsmiling and cold to us upon our arrival to check in. Clearly, my friend and I did not look young and/or hipster enough - what a turn off. Our female server was lovely, though and the food was good. Most like and one and done.

There were only a couple people working in this restaurant, food took an unacceptably long time, however one persons brunch came out and was ice cold after everyone else’s meal was delivered. This restaurant use to be great, it is now horrible & we will not go back for at least a year. Maybe by next September they will have their act together. So much for people going back to work.

We have been eating at the Draycott since the weekend they opened and have been there many, many times. The atmosphere is lovely and vibrant, the service good, but the food is never consistent to say the least. Sometimes the food is pretty good....sometimes like last night, quite poor indeed. There seems to be a total lack of quality control in the kitchen at the Draycott these days. We started with the shrimp cocktail was quite good. We decided to try the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Steak Sandwich as we had been to a lunch event with a lot of courses earlier in the day. The bread on the steak sandwich was totally burnt and should never have left the kitchen that way. It smelled like blackened toast. When I showed the waiter, he was embarrassed and immediately offered to replace it. If there was a little quality control it would have never left the kitchen that way in the first place. The Crispy Chicken sandwich was just so so. The classic English dessert, Eton Mess dessert was a joke....how do you mess up something with only 4 ingredients.....Strawberries, Vanilla Meringue, Whipped Cream, and Strawberry Syrup? Well forgetting to put the Whipped Cream in the dessert and using stale meringue resulted in a poor dry mess indeed....it was terrible. The Draycott has changed the way they make this particular dessert so many times over the years a to be Ridiculous. Their original iteration was the traditional English dessert and was great. Why they have chosen to screw it up so badly is anybody's guess. Again....if there was any quality control in the kitchen I would of course recommend this place as we enjoy it when they have their act together, but that has become an iffy proposition these days.

we took our grandson, who ordered crab cakes and a steak. the restaurant was out of both so he ended up with tuna tartare and a sliced steak sandwich. there were no steaks available. we were told it was also out of the impossible burger. my wife and I each ordered the roasted chicken which was very good, but found the entree choices, with the unavailable items, too limited. we nearly left but were already seated. our table outside was small, better suited for 2 persons than the 3 of us. the service was very good, I felt badly for the server who was embarrassed by having to tell us of the menu deletions. the dessert choices were very limited, we wound up not ordering any. the restaurant did nothing to try and explain or make up for not having what was initially ordered. a disappointing experience. we often eat at Porta Via and Angelini Osteria in the center and have never had a problem or a negative experience. no attempt was made to let us know before coming that there were so many menu deletions. there is an Erewhon market in the center, why didn't the restaurant fill in the missing items?

There was an event the same night we dined so I’m sure this affected the overall staff capacity, but the food was mediocre at best, the drinks were good but expensive and we had limited seating options due to the event and didn’t have very self-aware dining neighbors; made for an expensive and undelivered experience.

What a great place and experience! Food was absolutely magnificent! Fresh and full of flavor! Service was outstanding! Nice wine and cocktails list! We had the Wagyu burger and pork chop! Both were done just perfect, and the appetizers prior were excellent! Burrata and the pea dip! We are definitely coming back and bringing the family!
